The teachers all seemed to love him and did a great job of letting us know how his day was. I never once worried if he was well taken care of or ate enough (he's a picky eater) because they always did their best and kept us well informed. I also really appreciated how they approached any misbehavior. You know, our toddlers tell us everything and for the most part some kids are just learning how to play well with others and I feel that this school really gave space with that while also doing the necessary incident reports. Lastly, our son was blessed to have grown with his classmates. There isn't a lot of turnover with kids in this school and that was such a plus for us- our son growing up with other kids and becoming best friends with them. She makes these children like one of her own. One thing I will say about her is she is very loving towards not only the kids but the families. The student-teacher ratio is perfect, and the Montessori approach to learning has been wonderful. Our eldest entered Kindergarten confident and ready. We will be so sad when our second child finishes this school year at MCH, but she is well prepared to move on to Kindergarten! They have some sort of art project every day and plenty of play time. They also have a wonderful indoor playroom for days when it is rainy or too cold to play outside. The other thing I enjoy about their preschool program is that it is not faith based. It is based on the state education standards, and is truly to prepare kids for kindergarten. My suggestion would be to certainly give this place a try. Schedule a tour with your child and see how they like it there. My daughter fell in love the first time we were there and now is so happy to be going to school. She would love going every day, but maybe next year.
