My husband and I purchased a mattress from Sit n Sleep over Labor Day Weekend. There was miscommunication about the promotions going on and long story short, we felt upset and disappointed for purchasing our mattress here. Once the store manager, Robert Flores, learned of our situation, he did everything in his power to make sure we had a positive customer experience. I wish we had dealt with him from the get-go! We would definitely do business with him in the future as he handled my concerns with the utmost professionalism and understanding. read more

This place truly has excellent customer service. Our salesman John Baltramaitis was so professional, informed and not pushy. He treated us as if we spent thousands of dollars. He was true with his words of when we would get our delivery and called when he said he would. I received timely notice confirming my delivery the night before and the day of delivery I received an hours notice as a reminder. Guess what? Not only were they on time, the guys were nice and set everything up, cleaned their mess and were done before I knew it! This is the place for mattresses and beds! Thank you John! read more

BIG FAT ZERO!!!!! NEGATIVE 5 STAR David (salesman) at Oxnard SNS sold us a mattress we were doubtful about from begining & got us into a financial contract that we can't get out of or change. We agreed because we thought we could exchange after 31 days as per contract, but we also thought we could upgrade the mattress if need be which would mean we would need to upgrade our credit, but David said we could not do that until current loan was paid off which would obviously be after our 60 day exchange. So we are stuck with a mattress we HATE. Our 8yr old mattress was more comfortable & it was horrible & we get less sleep then we did with our old mattress. read more

Had a truly fantastic shopping experience yesterday at the Oxnard Sit and Sleep. What stood out was the EXCEPTIONAL service my wife and I received from our salesman, Alex. To say that he was knowledgeable about all types of beds would be an understatement. I have bought many beds in my lifetime, but have never found a salesperson who knew absolutely everything about bed choices and options. We settled on a BeautyRest Black Series. Thank you Alex for a phenomenal shopping and educational experience. read more

This place is garbage .. I bought a 900 dollar mattress that was defective not even a month in . I was able to exchange the mattress for another one and the same thing ! DEFECTIVE . At this point I am not able to get my money back so I fought to exchange the 2nd mattress which is my 3rd mattress from this place. This is also DEFECTIVE . Customer service sent people to my house to inspect the mattress, and it was reported DEFECTIVE but they won't let me exchange it because the box spring has a tiny hole in it!! Are you kidding me !! Customer service also told me that the sales rep sold me AS IS MATTRESSES. Specifically the sales rep told me to my face that these are brand new mattresses that'll be sent to me .. what a LIAR. Now I'm stuck with a jacked up mattress that is doing damage to my back !! I'm still fighting to get my money back . read more

This place is great! Mr. Flores is a gentleman. There was no pressure. I was able to take as long as I wanted. When I was ready to make my purchase, he worked out a very fair deal, arranged the delivery, which happened on time and uneventfully. Very professional. One of the beds turned out to be a little too high and didn't fit my headboard/bedframe. Mr. Flores arranged to change the height of the bed and fix the problem with the headboard. All without charge. I received terrific service and would recommend the Oxnard Sit n' Sleep to anyone. read more

While on the search for a new mattress, I found some great deals online, however there's nothing quite like laying on the mattress in the store before you buy it. Upon walking in to the store almost 2 months ago we were immediately greeted and asked if we needed any help. (I believe the gentleman who helped us was Ken not sure though) He was great! Not "salesy" or pushy, showed us all different types in the store: budget, mid end and high end. I loved that because he didn't judge our purchase based on our appearance - it happens often ! All in all I'm so happy with our purchase and glad I went in store vs buying a mattress online! I have 4 stars only because I know we could have gotten a better deal after the fact read more

My husband and I are newlyweds and we had never shopped for a mattress before... After tryout out many different competitors, we visited Sit n Sleep and had a completely different experience. Ken was professional, kind and extremely knowledgeable about all of the mattresses in the store. He helped us for over an hour to find the mattress that was perfect for us. After we told him that we wanted to sleep on the decision to purchase, he was never pushy at all. When we came back the next day Ken greeted us like we were old friends. What an awesome experience. March 21, 2019 Please, if you are considering purchasing a mattress at Sit'n Sleep, immediately look for David Stengel. Not only is David Stengel knowledgeable, but has a caring heart. David will do his upmost to get you what you truly need. I blame myself for not doing my homework/due diligence in purchasing our mattress and bed frame. David Stengel, took the reins and helped me when I return to Sit 'n Sleep when I was having a problem with our purchase. The salesman that sold us our mattress and bed frame, didn't even say hello nor offer to help me. David was very concerned about my situation and understood. He made things right!! I came home with tears of joy for David listened to me. He cared. What a concept. I'm extremely thankful that David was there this morning. Five Stars for a fine caring gentleman with complete knowledge of how to help his "guests" know what they are looking for. Thank you. read more

I did a very adult thing and went shopping for my first mattress. I was worried I was going to get sucked in to some deal and be really disappointed in myself after buying some ridiculously priced mattress. I walked in and was greeted by John and he took me straight to the super cool bed that tells you what kind of mattress is best for you. After about 5 minutes I knew the type of bed best for me, and he showed me all of them. He was very knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He gave me a great deal and the friend I was with is now excited to go mattress shopping there, and she wasn't even looking for one. 3 days later and I'm still feeling great about this purchase. I'm very happy I went there and had John to help me! read more
