My fiancé and I were in search for a new bed, and stopped by sit n sleep brea and had a great experience. I believe the person who helped us was Ron and his last name was Gonzalez, and we never felt pressured for a second. In fact, my fiancé and I really enjoyed the second bed that was shown to us and Ron still encouraged us to continue trying others out. He has a great personality and attitude and genuinely so helpful. He goes through everything thoroughly and recommends what is best for us. Definitely recommend, they have awesome options and great customer service. We got a Sealy hybrid mattress and love it! read more

I wanted to take the time to say THANK YOU so so much to Pete at Sit N Sleep in Brea! My husband has back problems and needed a mattress that fit all of the needs for his back. Pete was so educational, quick, and thorough. He wasn't pushy at all, and was able to relate to my husband. We ended up purchasing what Pete told us, and Pete was able to get us the best deal, and not only that gave us the best service. Thank you so so much for your time and patience. We appreciate you Pete and Sit n sleep for providing quality products and for backing up everything you advertise. Definitely go see Pete if you're looking for the truth! When it comes to purchasing your new mattress! read more

I had gone to another furniture store, but ended up coming to Sit 'n Sleep because of the other guys' sheistiness. Peter at Sit 'n Sleep was very thorough, tended to our needs, and disclosed ALL costs. Free delivery means free delivery here. read more

I was hesitant to go into a big named store because I wanted a deal, but I got one! I was sleeping on a Casper and it wasn't my thing so I went to Sit n Sleep and Aaron patiently allowed me to lay on and test mattresses all over the store. I ultimately went with a Stearns and Foster lux estate pillow top because when I laid on it the first thing that came to my head was "this feels to good to be true!" I've slept on it now for a couple weeks and it's truly the best mattress I've ever slept on. EVER. It's firm and plush at the same time. I also got a great deal on pillows and I couldn't be happier. You've got to go see these guys. Not pushy. Super accommodating. And a great price. Ask for Aaron! read more

Bought a mattress here from Dave a couple of years ago. The mattress came apart at the seams. Melanie in customer service was very helpful and had a great attitude. The manufacturer was slow to respond and I followed up with Melanie who followed up with the manufacturer. It took a couple of months but she got our warranty processed and we went back to the store to pick a replacement. Dave was still there and was very helpful again. Excellent experience. read more

They like Yelp reviews so here it is. We purchased our bed set this past weekend with Michael who was helpful and patient. Took the time to show us a handful of mattresses after using the Bed Match equipment they have in the store. We decided on a set and even bought one of the pillows we used during our mattress test. Everything was great! We were given delivery options and we needed to have delivery later in the day so we waited for it to arrive later in the week so we could have it delivered after 5pm. Notification of the 4 hour window was supposed to arrive the day before and we didn't get it until this morning and found out it was arriving at 1:30p. WTH? We specifically had to pick a Thursday delivery to get a 5pm window delivery time. I called and spoke with Harry (Asst. Manager) who tried to see if they can come later. Apparently our name was not on the 5pm delivery list. He said he'd call us when Michael is back in this weekend to resolve the mishap. At this point I'm upset since 1. We had to pick a later date to have bed delivered for a 5pm delivery window 2. The bed is actually coming earlier than we agreed which leads to 3. I had to leave work early. So I'm here and it's past 2pm and we just got a notification that now they are running an hour late. WTH is going on? What started as a great sweet experience is now gone completely sour. I lost 2 hours of work and now I'm sitting here waiting waiting waiting just because one of the most important details of our delivery was missed. The one star is for the initial customer service experience in the store but that gets overlooked when you end up spending more time and $ waiting for the mattress to be delivered at a time you initially didn't agree to. What an inconvenience! read more

I'll start off this review by saying it's not about the store employee that helped us, it's about the mattress we selected which was the Infinity Hybrid Cool Cal-King. After receiving this mattress it didn't seem to be as soft as we anticipated. I confirmed with customer phone support that this is indeed the softest mattress in the Infinity Hybrid lineup. Although I've always preferred a firmer mattress we are now in our early 70's and dealing with pressure point issues which this mattress simply isn't soft enough to address. We've had it for two months now and I just put a Tempur Pedic topper on it. It does come with a 365 night sleep trial. None of the mattresses I tried in the store were any softer than this one so I'm not sure if exchanging it for a different one will help. Just beware, even though this is supposed to be soft, if you're dealing with similar issues DO NOT buy this mattress or you'll be sorely (no pun intended) disappointed. read more

Who likes to go and lay down on mattresses in front of strangers to figure out which is "the one." Maybe I'm weird but I don't; however Gil and the team made it an awesome and fun experience. They used technology (pretty cool) to see what we needed and then showed us what the computer recommended. Gil took his time and the district manager was there as well to answer any questions we had. Thank you guys for the great experience can't wait for our new bed! read more

We purchased our mattress from Dave about 1 1/2 years ago. We have been tossing around the idea of getting the adjustable base for our mattress for a while. We pulled the trigger and got it this weekend. We love it!! Thank you Dave! Thank you Woody, Ravey, Menace and Greg! We are now Sit n Sleep customers for life. read more

Bought a $2,600 Simmons mattress from the Brea store. The mattress was set up in our home by the Sit and Sleep staff. In just months the cushion top was drooping on both sides. It felt like you were sleeping in a body shaped cavity. We called Sit and Sleep, and very quickly they referred the warranty inspection to Precise Mattress Inspection. Adam came out to "inspect" our mattress. We left the room during the "Inspection" only to walk in on Adam fooling with the mattress frame. I did not understand at first what he was doing. But then Adam stood up and announced that "that is your problem, the frame is too big for the mattress making it sag on this side". He then quoted, twice, "a mattress is like a house, without a good foundation it will ruin the house." Two weeks later we received a letter from Sit and Sleep saying that: Foundation border/grid wire damaged (not a manufacturing defect) Frame provides insufficient support. Law tag has been removed. Therefore, they were denying a replacement of the mattress. After this, we started searching on the internet regarding complaints against Sit and Sleep and Precise Mattress Inspection. It seems clear that this is a practice of Sit and Sleep in order to void mattress mattresses. Precise Inspection tells their staff to find, or create any situation that they can to void warranties. Terrible practice, we should have gone to Costco and bought a better bed for half the price. P.S. the positive reviews are mostly written by the staff at the store. Notice how different staff members are mentioned in each review. read more

Great customer service! We went in for the Memorial Day sale and Diane was our sales person. She was fantastic and found us a mattress that met our needs both comfort wise and price wise. The reason for a 4 star review is because we did not receive our Frio mattress cover with our shipment and we were told we would receive it the following day. Now 5 days later we still haven't gotten it however the store has been very helpful in trying to track down what happened and when it'll be shipped. read more

We felt extremely comfortable with him and felt no pressure. Art knows his stuff!! We certainly appreciate him and his time. Couldn't have had a better sales experience. Out of all the mattress shops we've been to, we must say Sit 'n sleep brea was probably the most informative store! Michael helped us out in finding the right mattress for us. The first time we went, we must have laid in 8+ mattresses and could not decide what was best for us. Michael was so patient with us and took the time to explain about each bed we laid on. Unfortunately, we could not make a decision and left after 2 and half hours.. We came back a week after and met with Michael who, again, was very patient with us as we tested out more beds. After another 2.5 hrs...(yup..), we found the perfect bed and Michael was able to give us a great deal on our mattress set! He was very informative, quick, efficient with the check out process! We cannot wait for our mattress to be delivered!!! We highly recommend this location and all the staff members were great but our sleep consultant, Michael seriously was THE best.. thanks for being so patient with us!!! read more

Great customer service. Dave was very friendly and knowledgeable. He even stayed well after closing to get us our mattress.

We just bought a new mattress from Pete Rigas at the Brea Sit'n Sleep. My husband and I have suffered from back pain for years and actually bought a new temperpedic last year from Living Spaces. We didn't really know what we were doing when buying that mattress last year so chose the one that felt comfortable. Since that time we sleep horribly and our back pain has increased. Today we decided to check out the local Sit'n Sleep to hopefully get a proper education on what we need. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Pete who walked us thru the entire process of figuring out what would be the best mattress for us. They have a special bed that you lay on for 4 minutes that tells you what firmness would be best. Then Pete showed us our options for that level of firmness. We were so happy with his low pressure knowledgable approach. So happy we walked in today! Our new mattress will arrive tomorrow. If you need help understanding what firmness would be the best for your specific needs then I would highly recommend a Sit'n Sleep. Thank you Pete!! read more

Stopped by to check on tempur pedic but found the mattress isn't something we were looking for. There are a lot of mattress selling online that offer free shipping or free trail, but I believe it is important to see it in person at mattress store. We ended up getting a technogel, and I have liked it so far. Sharon gave us a great deal. She was easy to work with and knowledgeable. They deliver the mattress to me in the same week. Will come back and will recommend friends. read more

Went in thinking about a tempurpedic and Diane was very helpful and explained all the different options to us. We loved the cooling pad - it really sealed the deal since we were worried about the mattress feeling hot. When she was writing up the invoice I pointed out that there was a discount available on tempurpedic.com, and sorry Irwin, but Diane gave us the same discount! Plus she found another discount for us which we used towards a new set of sheets and a pillow! Never thought I would buy an "old people's" adjustable bed, but it's so comfortable with the financing we couldn't pass it up! read more

I was planning to buy a new mattress but I didn't really know where to start with because there are so many brands these days, and I couldn't tell the difference at all by just searching online and reading numerous reviews. I was running some errands in this area and just thought it would be nice to actually look at some options so dropped by with no intention to purchase yet. I wasn't expecting to spend that much time but I ended up staying over an hour and thanks to Charles, I found the best mattress and ended up purchasing it! Charles was extremely patient with me, he let me try out all the options I wanted to, he didn't try to push me to buy anything I didn't need or above my budget, he listened carefully for my needs, and he found the best mattress for me. I can't be happier with my choice and I am so looking forward to using it! Charles is the person you need to ask for assistance here. You will be as satisfied as I am! read more

Me and my wife recently bought a mattress from Steve at Sit n' Sleep in Brea. He did a great job at showing us the mattresses and gave us a great deal on our mattress. We had previously bought a Groupon for Sit n' Sleep and Steve still gave us the bed frame for free. Also when our mattress was delivered, it was damaged. Steve made it right by upgrading us to a far better mattress. I would whole heartedly recommend Steve at the Brea Sit n' Sleep. read more
