Test drive was fine and luckily we bought a warranty. The day after we got it home it began having issues. We took it back and they decided the transmission needed to be replaced. It took a month and we had to call for updates or we heard nothing. We got a different story every time we called. Got it home last week and now the engine light is on. Took it back. Once again, something is bad and needs to be replaced. They offered us $9000 less than what we gave them for it to buy it despite the fact we've barely been able to put any miles or use on the truck since it has sat on their lot while we made the payment. In fact the only miles and use has been driving it back and forth to this dealership. Not a one of them seems to care that they sold a vehicle that had multiple issues - apparently they do not inspect the used vehicles they have sitting on their lot before it is sold to you. I have used other Peltier dealerships in Tyler and been well pleased - this particular lot is, I hope, an anomaly with their poor salesmanship and bad customer service.

They never told me the diagnostic would cost me $200 but I opted for another mechanic to fix the warning lights for half the price. My advice is to find out what the cost of the diagnostic is before you leave your car for three days. I was denied by Doug a refund of half of the diagnostic and that may be standard for them, but it is a bad policy for me not to know upfront what the diagnostic was going to cost.
