There is not a rating low enough to indicate how poorly we've been treated by this dealership. My husband bought a a used truck for our company here mid summer. Test drive was fine and luckily we bought a warranty. The day after we got it home it began having issues. We took it back and they decided the transmission needed to be replaced. It took a month and we had to call for updates or we heard nothing. We got a different story every time we called. Got it home last week and now the engine light is on. Took it back. Once again, something is bad and needs to be replaced. They offered us $9000 less than what we gave them for it to buy it despite the fact we've barely been able to put any miles or use on the truck since it has sat on their lot while we made the payment. In fact the only miles and use has been driving it back and forth to this dealership. Not a one of them seems to care that they sold a vehicle that had multiple issues - apparently they do not inspect the used vehicles they have sitting on their lot before it is sold to you. I have used other Peltier dealerships in Tyler and been well pleased - this particular lot is, I hope, an anomaly with their poor salesmanship and bad customer service. read more

I took my 2024 Ford F150 XLT in for service on Thursday Aug 20 2026. I had a new service advisor named ERIC, seemed nice enough. I told him explicity that I wanted a 20K check up, not a 15 K. So he puts it in as a 15K one and when I went to check out I was presented with a bill for $505 which I refused to pay. After some arguing the bill was $277 which is still too high for the service I had done. Be very careful about the service department at Peltier Ford. I would find another place to service your car. I will now go to Marshall Ford which is close to where I live. Be wary - the service pamphlet they handed me had a lot of recommendations for very costly service charges they recommend. I checked the ford owners manual and most of those service items are really not needed. read more

All of the other reviews about fake prices and silly required dealer add ons are correct. 47k advertised price became 50k plus $3500 scratch protection plus ..... I read the negative reviews before contacting them and getting a true out the door price was hard. After getting an email that looked enticing, they followed up with a true quote by text that was 10k more. Total waste of time and false advertising. This is why people are buying from caravan. Dealerships like this remind us all of why we hate dealing with the traditional dealership. Avoid if you value your time or wallet. read more

Terrible experience with Peltier Ford in Longview, TX. I've had three different issues with the brand-new 2024 F-150 I bought from their dealership -- two times the truck wouldn't start, and a safety-related failure where the auto start/stop feature left me stranded in traffic. On top of that, I had a minor cosmetic issue with the A/C vents breaking inside the truck, and instead of honoring the warranty, Peltier told me they wouldn't fix it unless they got paid by Ford first. I had to get Ford corporate involved, and guess what? They told me to just take it to Bob Utter Ford in Sherman, TX -- a dealership I didn't even buy the truck from -- and they're fixing it for free under my bumper-to-bumper warranty. So let me be clear: The dealership that sold me the truck refused to make it right, while a different Ford dealership stepped up without hesitation. If you're looking to buy a new truck in Texas, DO NOT go to Peltier Ford in Longview. They do not stand behind their customers. Period read more

Peltier Ford sold my family a Certified Blue Advantage package with our new car for an extra ~$2,200. With the package guaranteed us that the dealership did a 139 point inspection on the vehicle. Just on the drive home, we found multiple issues wrong with the car. We live out of town, so we took the car to our local dealership. $1,300 later, the other dealership repaired multiple items that were supposedly on the 139 point inspection checklist. I highly doubt any 139 point inspection was ever actually done by Peltier. I've emailed and called Peltier 10+ times asking for a copy of the 139 point inspection report that we PAID ~$2,200 for only to receive no response. On top of scamming us out of ~$2,200 by selling us an inspection that was never done, Peltier ran my credit without permission when I expressly told them not to. They ran my credit not once but FOUR times. We specifically told them we came to the dealership with financing already in hand and did not need or want them to run my credit. Dusty Brooks, our sales rep, told me that Peltier just needed my information to "close the deal" - whatever that means. So, I gave him my information but expressly refused to sign the bottom portion of the document requesting for authorization to pull my credit. I told him multiple times I was only giving my information but did not authorize a credit pull and was not and would not sign the authorization. I get home and see that Peltier did in fact pull my credit when I expressly said not to. Worst dealership experience ever. Do not come here unless you want to be lied to and scammed. BEWARE - Scheduled a 70K service for $99.99 and during checkout, the total bill was over $450. Advisor Matthew said they had to do the 30K instead of the 70K that I requested. Advisor even questioned air filter / cabin filter and I declined since it didnt come with the 70K service. Very sleazy bait and switch. Please remove me as customer from your mailing list. i bought a 24 nissan kick here a little over two months ago. It had a low tire because the tire had a hole in it and the service man patched it once and said it had four plugs in it and i would need to purchase a new tire if it got low again even though they gave it to me like that. it had a sideways liscense plate held in place by one screw. It did not crank the first time i drove it after i brought it home and they said they would fix it and nothing was done but replacing the altenator which i told them was bad because i took it to auto zone to be tested when i finaolly got it cranked the first day i bought it. i needed paperwork for social security to turn in stating what the trade in value was on the car i traded in and i needed a bill of sale or a copy of one because my dog ate mine. i have called and messaged several times with no response. finally someone sent me a bill of sale but nothing about my trade in and i will be docked because of their failure to send me the paperwork. i gave them a perfect car except some hail damage and the car i now have does not crank on a regular basis. The first time they had it they gave me a loaner and kept the car for a week. i have not took it up there because i am a delivery driver and i can not pay for the car if i don't have something to drive while they have it and who knows how long they will have it. I've been asking since day one to get my old car back and they just keep changing the subject. i told them at least give me a running car in exchange and they will not. There was no warranty but i feel it is super shody business to give someone a car with a wholey tire and a jankedy half screwed on liscense plate that doesn't crank the first time you drive it. I'm sure that they will say none of this is true but i want this posted so other people can see that it's a big risk to spend money there. I also want a replacement or a refund on this car because you but a car even as is with an expectancy that certain things will be done like an oil change and decent tires put on and God forbid the laziness that gave me that car with the liscense plate on sideways. Also even though they said they would fix it they havent allolowed mea way to get it fixed because i just keep having to jump it off and air up the tire because i can't afford to get another one due to the cost of the car. It should have never been given to me in this condition and I want anwers and the car fixed or anohter car or my car back. I need a loaner and they say there is a waitlist but if i was a dealership my top priority would be to people that just spent $17000 kon a car i let drive off my lot in that condition. Brought my F250 in for warranty work on the two motorcraft batteries that were 1 year old. The batteries were spilling battery acid all over the engine bay, but they still showed good. Was told by the service advisor that they would need to fail the load test that would take a couple of hours. She wouldn't get up and come look at the batteries that were heavily corroded just to see that it's a given that they were bad. I took them to ABC auto parts around the corner and no questions asked swapped the batteries out. Will never take any of my Ford vehicle back to Peltier. Thanks guys! read more

I called today to inquire about a truck they had online. The ad said it did not include tax title license, and surface protection plan. When I spoke to the salesman, I told him I was not interested in the surface protection plan. He said it was not an option. When I inquired how much the surface protection plan was he would not tell me and said I didn't have to buy the truck and that somebody else would and hung up the phone. avoid this dealership. read more

This dealership must think everyone is incapable of doing any financial research themselves. For starters, my salesman Trey was great, and I don't credit any of the unethical practices to him. This is simply on management trying to scam. To give some back ground information, not only did I study accounting and finance in college, I teach it as a professional. I also worked in the car business briefly and left due to unethical practices and pushy sales tactics that don't work. Before I walked in, I had gone through and calculated every possible add on fee, extra, or TT&L they could possibly have. Ended up with around the same cost they had. What happened next, is the insane part. The payments listed on their sheet, did not match what the payments should have been, even with the $8,000 under KBB that was offered on the first offer. They were over $300 higher than what they mathematically should have been. I sent the salesman back and asked for more trade and understanding on why the payments were so high. He comes back, still over $5,000 short of trade value on KBB and the payments still aren't adding up. I mention this, and he said his manager based them off of 8-12% interest rate. First off, that an insane rate that my credit score would not warrant, but secondly they would still put them $250 higher than what it should have been. At this point, I asked for my keys to leave. In a last ditch effort, they sent out a manager to talk to me, and I refused saying I simply wanted my keys back and I wouldn't do business with an unethical dealership. He threw his hands up like a child and pouted while walking off after someone caught his scam. If you're looking for a vehicle, like most the comments say, avoid this place. read more

The service department will badger you to make an appointment for warranty or recall work and when you leave your vehicle, they will keep it all day, perform no repair, and make an excuse about not having the right parts in stock. You will receive an email asking if you want them to perform a whole list of PM tasks. This happened to me 3 times...I will never darken there door again. Sale rep was trash. Dude gave me the run around for hours. Finally made a deal but I couldn't give him 5 star on the survey due to the poor service. Them to be petty, egged till the last minute to let me know my plate were in. There is a note they were delivers to the dealer on May, I went to location multiple times and was told oh they aren't here and had to get a new dealer tag. Get the plates and he told me oh we don't have any front brackets for the license plate so you'll have to go buy one from service. So I left. Yeah if you go here don't go to Mark Anthony. Dude texted me on an off day after hours because I didn't give him a 5 on the survey. Then realized he should have sent that, but did not realize you can unsend Message and tried to edit the whole text like I can't see what he sent before the edit. Peltier Ford is a STEALERSHIP not a dealership. Wish I had read all the reviews before taking our vehicle here. Let's start with the $206 charge to plug in and tell me why the check engine light was on (FREE at every O'Reilly). Then another $206 charge to "diagnose" a problem that was exactly what I TOLD them it was when I dropped off. (these charges are in addition to overpriced repair if you do choose to do the work). Then they tried to sell me an alignment when their own report shows that our alignment is good! We do have three ACTUAL repairs needed, but due to their dishonesty and greed, I decided to get them done at another dealership that has proven in the past to actually have integrity, even though these thieves at Peltier are keeping $400+ of our hard-earned money for doing nothing but try to rip us off. (the total for these 3 repairs is $1447 less at the honest dealership). So after I declined the service and paid the $400+ ransom, the car wouldn't start. This was NOT a problem at all before we brought it in. They kept the car 2+ more days before finding that they re-connected something wrong the first time. So after our lost time and wasted trips to the dealership, they said "it is now OK," and that I do not owe them any more for parts or labor, like they did me a favor -- no apology or offer of compensation. They do not even pretend to have good customer service: they do not call you when they say they will, they leave you on hold for TEN minutes till you hang up and call them again, and they have no care at all for your time in general. Today me and my wife went in to purchase a Bronco only to be the victims of Bait and Switch by the shady/ sneaky/ crooked finance Guy, he showed us one price and then added a $2495 Diamond Ceramic Package to what we were about to pay for, good thing we caught before we signed, what's crazy is we probably would have paid for it, on the backend but do to the sneaky tactics we walked away from the Deal. watch out for the BS they claim it's on all their cars, it's not a option. started off with just looking no intention of actually buying a car but we turned around and went to look at the new 25' expeditions and looked at the 24's to compare and pulled in to lot to see boi the African car sales man and I pointed at him to have him help us, nice guy , cool accent, pleasent to work with and worked hard to get us in the car . Buyer Beware!! Bait and Switch dealership! I find a fullsize Bronco on their website for $52,015, I go to the dealership and work with the salesman and he comes back with $69,996. The reasoning for the increase is for accessories and a $2,495 ceramic coating. When I inform them I want the price from the Website, the salesman gets his sale manager; the sales manager basically acts like I am ignortant for thinking I can purchase the Bronco for the price on the internet. He informs me that all of their pricing is wrong on the website and walks away. It has been over 48 hrs and the prices have not been fixed on the website, which leads me to believe, this is an intentional sales tactic. It is a real shame that there are businesses out there trying to take advantage of the hard working people in the East Texas community. Not a coincidence they are not a member and accredited by the Better Business Bureau. To become accredited with the BBB, a business must apply and meet the BBB's standards, which include buiding trust (failed), advertising honestly (failed) and being responsive to complaints. read more

Made deal for preowned with two vehicles traded-in. Preowned vehicle had a few issues plus a salesperson backed into vehicle just prior to signing contract. Peltier agreed to fix dents and dings made by collision in their parking lot. They argued about doing the dents and dings, did not remedy electrical issues and did not put on missing windshield wipers. A vehicle demonstrated as road worthy was much short of road worthy! Beware to any potential buyers of preowned vehicles. 2011 Chevrolet pickup not a good investment. Too many sensors flagging and no wipers! They can simply clear sensor readings and put back on sales lot. Too many red flags! Now after I have killed the deal, they can't find the plates on my truck and my spare key. Buyer beware!! We bought a "new" vehicle from you last Saturday. It was an awfully long day. We made a deal and got back to the finance manager named Clint. Totally my fail for not double checking, but the final amount financed increased by $5003 from the front-end number we agreed on. They also told they were throwing in 2 oil changes but come to find out they added $240 to our bill. We can't even use it since we live 4 states over. They knew this, and charged us anyway. We agreed to a "wheel protection" warranty and low and behold there was $3888 extended warranty that was never even discussed. In fact after the wheel warranty, I said out loud, "Here comes the extended warranty pitch.". But you could hear crickets. All of the signatures were on the computer. click here, click here, etc. etc. Yes, we signed it, but it was never disclosed! We came from Pensacola, FL to buy this truck and we were exhausted. I figured we could trust a retired police officer, and didn't discover the issue until we received our letter from the bank. We called and Clint hung up on me because I said he swindled us. He said not to accuse him of being a liar. I told him I wasn't accusing him of being a liar...he was a liar. He hung up and would not answer my call backs. not only did they tell me to reschedule my appointment for a drive train issue after having my truck for 10 hrs, they then charged me $222 dollars for a 3 minute diagnostic on my truck. when they did the very same look over the first appointment and missed the issue of simply rotating an after market shock. $222!! for a 3 minute diagnostic for " labor and shop materials" I pled my case with the shop people, and it was for nothing.
