His willingness to think outside the box and put in the extra effort is what earned my business. He had the vehicle ready when I arrived and even followed up the next day, which says a lot about his professionalism and customer care. Channon Stewart, the manager, was knowledgeable, efficient, and helped secure a great interest rate. He clearly runs a solid team and keeps the process moving the right way. Braylon Williams in finance also did an excellent job and made everything smooth and easy to understand. He is definitely someone to watch. Please believe me when I say this dealership is full of the absolute worst, uncaring, unprofessional, and absolute scandalous humans I have ever encountered....and that is putting it mildly. My 85-1/2 year old father was scammed out of his life savings. He is a Korean Conflict Air Force Veteran on a VERY small fixed income. This dealership completely took advantage of an elderly man who is now left with NO SAVINGS. While $17,000 may not sound like much to some, this was my father's nest egg. Although he lives in a senior citizen's apartment complex in Hughes Springs, the dealership sent a driver to pick him up to look at a car. When I discovered he was looking at a car, I contacted the salesman, Braylen, and explained his limited funds, his physical and mental condition, and was promised he would not do anything without contacting me. Braylen stated he would bring my father home after looking at the car. Instead, he sold him a $38,000 car, taking his $17,000 down payment with a loan for 84 months at $385.00 per month. I cannot believe he even qualified for a loan....and for 84 months????? When Dad explained he only had $16,000 for the down payment, they convinced him to add another $1000 by using his credit card. As if his entire savings wasn't enough money!!!! Since I never heard from the salesman, I thought my father was returned home. Instead, they sent my father home (45 miles away) in the dark by himself. I told Braylen that my father hadn't driven in 2-1/2 years as he has tremors and uses a walker/cane, yet he was allowed to take the car and leave. My dad immediately had buyer's remorse the next day and returned the car. The dealership refused to take the car nor would they return his money. He went again on Monday and was told the same thing. Once I got involved,they finally accepted the car and returned $ 5,000 which was explained as the cost of the extended warranty he was sold! I honestly thought you had 3 days to return a car, but apparently not in TEXAS. I can't believe anyone would take advantage of an elderly man who walks with a cane, has tremors, and clearly has decreased mental capacity. Although I have Power of Attorney, I could not negate the transaction. I have called many agencies but to no avail. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE CROOKS!!! I WOULD HATE FOR ANYONE TO EXPERIENCE THE POOR TREATMENT WE RECEIVED!!! PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME.....I WILL GLADLY GIVE MORE DETAILS IF NEEDED! Do not do business with this company! Here's why...I'm gonna name drop some folks. In June of 2023 I traded in my truck for a 2023 Kia Sportage. I waited over 5 hours to get to finance and I had my own bank. The finance guy was rude. He called me retarded for not purchasing the extended warranty which is my prerogative. But he did a poor job of explaining the benefits of it and we got into an argument. Once I understood the benefits of it I decided to buy the extended warranty. Can't remember the guys name. He's probably late 20's early 30's, Hispanic, former cop; reeks of arrogance. They charged me for a cleaning kit that I didn't get. I told the finance guy that I didn't want only to see a charge for it later. I didn't look at my paperwork real good which is my fault but knowing that I didn't want the cleaning kit he still charged me for it. I think it was $89 and I live in Bossier City. It's almost 100 miles away to do anything about so I was like whatever. It August now. I decided after a month of owning the Sportage, that it wasn't for me. I had to get a truck. The sportage is great. It just didn't fit my lifestyle. So after I traded in the sportage, I contacted Peltier Kia Longview right away and asked them what I needed to do. I was told to talk to John Bowers. I called John Bowers and he told me that I needed to fill out a form and send it in with my bill of sale showing that I traded in the Sportage. I asked him to send me the form and he said he would but of course he didn't. After a few days I called him again and he wouldn't take my calls. They would go to voicemail. So I had my girlfriend call and ask for him and of course he answers! She got him to send me the form. I send the form back and wanted to make sure he got them. I send an email and no reply. I call and leave messages but no reply. I will post pictures of our correspondence. My last picture of our correspondence was in October 3rd 2023. Instead of emailing me back he decided to call me. He said that the paperwork takes 8 weeks to process and he gave me a figure of about $800. I call in January and asked to speak to him but of course no answer and I hung up. Frustrated I call back and ask for a different manager. I believe I asked for John Bowers's boss and the receptionist was like "whoa what's going on?" I told her that I wanted to file a complaint on John but unfortunately he's the only manager available so I let her go. 20 minutes later, John Bowers calls me acting all friendly and apologetic and said that my paperwork was held up in the business office but everything recently went through and that I should get a check soon. If that's true, why was it held up for so long? How is it that it happened to get released after I called? I'm calling B.S. I finally received the check for almost $1700, I want to say around mid January. Here's the thing, I started this process in August and it was not resolved until January. I know that the finance guys gets a commission for selling the extended warranties. So if for some reason I forget to follow up then he gets to keep his commission but what a shitty way to do business. Peltier Kia of Longview is a multi million dollar company! I make 80k a year and they're trying to take advantage of me. $1700 is a lot of money for me. If they do it to me, who is essentially a nobody, then they will do it to you as well. Essentially that's stealing money from me. I'm owed $1700 and I asked for it back but if by chance I forget about it, I'm still owed that money and you're keeping it from me. What kind of family man, business do you have to be to steal money from people to make a living? Oh lastly, it's possible that John Bowers was the first original finance guy I talked to. In writing this post, I'm not expecting Peltier Kia of Longview to call me to rectify any issues. Or even John Bowers at this point. As far as I'm concerned I've gotten what was due to me (except that cleaning kit for $89 but it's too much trouble at this point). I just want to warn others who are considering doing business with this company. It may not prevent people from doing business with them but hopefully it will shame them Peltier into better practices. read more

Car purchased here and it seemed great but the dealer made many promises that ended up being lies! Trouble with service department. No communication... I had to call to check on service! No vehicle given when my car was in with a warranty repair and they had my vehicle for 2 weeks! Spoke to GM and received apologies but then had the same thing happen the next time? Worst dealership I've bought a car from I purchase a brand new car and the salesman would never tell me the final price then the finance guy same thing would never tell me the final price just kept telling me the price of the car, when I signed the paperwork he didn't let me look at it just made me sign really fast and kept changing the conversation, when I got home numbers didn't add up so I called and email every week one person send me to another one and so on, starting from salesperson David, finance guy Damian, another finance guy John, then to General Manager Steven and it's been 2 months and nobody would send me the contract so I just gave up, who else do you turn to for help when everyone is on the scheme, I did find out over the phone that they added bunch of extra charges I wasn't aware off that's why didn't explain the contract because they knew I would've gone to another dealership where I already had the price on paper and I showed them the purchase order, people be careful because I saw a review where they did something similar to another customer so looks like this is how they operate, BIGGEST REGRET buying here. read more

I'm a loyal KIA customer with 4 new KIAs in 10 years. On 10/25/23, I turned in the Niro's lease to Peltier to upgrade to a larger, more expensive vehicle. I'd moved 200+ miles from my previous location, needed to find something local to handle my KIA needs. I chose Peltier KIA Longview as it was less than 10 miles from my new house. As my lease was nearing the end date, I'd been watching new inventory arrive at Peltier & saw the car I'd been wanting for months--a 2023 Hybrid Sorento EX AWD. I contacted them as soon as I saw it & spoke with & scheduled an appointment for 2 days later with Salesman Eric. The day after I scheduled the appt, I received a text from Eric that advertised CBD/Delta 8 products indicating I should check it out. A minute later, I received another text apologizing, he'd meant that for a different audience. This was not a great introduction to Peltier KIA. however...they still had the car I wanted so I went to the appt at 4pm on 10/25/23 & asked to see the car. He did & I wanted it. All this took about 20 mins. Back inside, we sat down at Eric's desk. I was introduced to a woman named Marci who is a Customer Success Representative. She told me I could contact her for anything during the sale & all things after if I needed help. She was delightful. Eric talked pricing for a bit, maybe 10 mins. He had Finance run my credit during these negotiations & all was good (very good credit, qualified for $1,400/mo). We had a deal in 5 minutes. The offer/acceptance took no more than an hour. Eric took the paperwork back to the Finance department & handed it off to Finance Manager John on duty that evening. John processed my paperwork for an hour & came out to tell us it was taking a little longer than usual & he appreciated our patience. I let him know that was fine. Marci chatted with us & was fun. Another hour went by with paperwork still in Finance with John. I'd been here for 3 hours now & 2 of them spent sitting in a chair while Finance processed the paperwork. Eric told us to, "Be patient, please...we don't get many leases in this area & they're tricky." Another 45 minutes passed as John figured out how to do his job & we were escorted back to his office to sign papers. I was grateful since Marci & I had even gotten around to exchanging recipes. But, honestly, we were both talked out at that point. Papers were signed (the time wasted on selling me the premium service package after being stuck here for 3 hours was NOT appreciated). John had an attitude that evoked boredom & rudeness the whole time. I felt like we were being punished because of his incompetence with leases. Never take your Kia Vehicle there for anything. Not even air in the tires. My car has sat in their service center since May of 23 it is now September and after not even a week of having my vehicle back its back in the service center. Guys, I NEVER write reviews, but I could not pass on this one. I assisted my daughter in buying her first new car. My experience with the salesperson was stellar, the tables turned when it came to the financing, deal closing person named JOHN BALLARD. I was initially met with the lie of him trying to increase the price by $5,000 with a bs line (so that he could get a larger commission). When I told him I shopped the price online and knew what it was he proceeded to tell me that EVERY car at Kia comes with a diamond clear coat. I told him I didn't ask for nordid I want that. He said again that they all come with that. When I stood up to leave he told me he had one left in the color that I wanted with the amenities I wanted that hadn't had the clear coat installed yet. Wouldn't you know it was the exact same car? I don't like being played like a fool. Kia is great but do NOT sit in the presence of JOHN BALLARD! He is a lier and a schemer! read more

I took my precious old Kia...2008 Sorento , Katy, with only a bit over 60,000 miles to Peltier when I had electrical problems. The very nice people in the repair department advised me it was terminal. State Farm sent an inspector and totaled it! Bad rats had eaten most of the wiring including the junction gadget. Had to buy a new Kia. Got a 2020 Kia Forte (Fiona). Salesman was great but I think I should have gotten a little better deal. Just my opinion. Regardless, I do recommend this dealership highly. I will return. I just hope the rats don't. read more

I finally got a response from them at 2:20 pm saying they'd pass it to the sales team for immediate assistance. 9 pm... still nothing Obviously the sales team is on salary and doesn't care if they sell a vehicle or not. I would not recommend purchasing a car from here. We bought a used car a couple weeks ago. The sales guy made several promises such as "detailing, fixing a dent, filling it up with gas, etc." and told me to bring the car back in a few days at 9:30. I showed up at 9:30, he was nowhere to be found. The service department said they had no appointment for me. Sales apologized then set an appointment for the following week. We then decided to call service a couple days later and AGAIN they had no record of our appointment. We set our own appointment, came in with the car and they only polished one scratch on the car. After asking the sales man about the detailing, filling up with gas, etc. he said "that wasn't put on the paper you signed" and pretended as though he never mentioned those things when we bought the car.Overall the specific salesman was very shady and I would not recommend buying a car from him. I will say Taylor the Sales Manager has been very helpful despite the absolute unprofessionalism and disregard of the specific salesman who sold us the car. read more

I'm on a trip for the kid to transport a 2012 Kia that she bought from a friend in Raleigh North Carolina to El Paso Tx. Apparently the engine seized at the boarder of LA and TX. (Just had the oil changed so we're not sure how that happened.) Brought it here where they inspected it and gave me the bad news. However these guys understood my situation and was able to accommodate me with a shuttle to and from my hotel and to the rental car place. Downright bent over backwards to help me. Beware of the "dealer addendum" or "market adjustment" aka upcharge due to supply and demand. MSRP was $11,000 less than the cash price of vehicle. They are very smooth and work quickly so that you don't realize you're being taken. Shop around and check other dealers addendum before you sign on the dotted line. Once we noticed MSRP was so different than the price we paid they said sorry there is nothing that can be don't. read more

I was convinced to purchase a 2021 Kia Niro EV in July. I had previously owned a Kia Solo. First I was told by the salesman Cody that fully charged my car would go to Dallas and back and then some. From the interstate the sign says 120 miles, so both ways would be 240 mile. Fully charged the max is about 214 miles. Then I was not told that the car doesn't come with a spare. After having a flat late at night all roadside assistance could do is take the car to the dealership. When I called the next morning I was told I was the 3rd car in line. When they finally got back to me I was told I had to have a new tire and rim. The tire would be $242.50 and the rim was on back order. I said go ahead and put the new tire on. I was trying to find a way to get back to the dealership all day and I kept calling and leaving messages. My son finally went to the dealership and they said they wouldn't have the tire in until the next day, NO ONE ever told me this to my knowledge my tire was being replaced right then. My son walked from the dealership to Big 5 Tire and purchased a tire and took it back for them to put on my vehicle. I had even called my salesman to ask about when my car would be ready and he said he would check and get back with me...Never happened. Not a very pleased customer and certainly not with their service dept! read more
