There have been two substantial rains since our purchase and it has an OBVIOUS leak. Now there is water in the floorboard and the passenger side carpet is SOAKED. I have reached out to the dealership to address this and we have received NO HELP or resolution. They have NO intention of taking care of the customer after a sale. You would be better off and wise to AVOID Orr altogether! I DO NOT and WILL NOT recommend these folks!

At the dealership "down the road" they tried to pull some fast talking math, which didn't add up. This was what I expected from a car lot. We left, as I will not tolerate it. We visited with Sam at Marshall Ford. Of course I was resistant at first. It turned out we got a great value and a great ride for my wife. I expressed an interest in a truck and looked at a few. I expected Sam to call and badger me. He did not. I saw a pattern of the opposite of the high pressure liars you expect to encounter. We dropped by randomly one weekend and insisted on Sam helping us. I ended up with what I think is the best truck I ever owned. As for the haggling stuff I hate, I only asked a small amount off and got it. They are in business to make money. As long as I got a great value for what I pay, I am happy. I don't have to get a steal. I am thoroughly happy and our subsequent vehicles will be from Sam. A small consideration, if you have DV tags. It may take a while longer. They did update the temp tag to a DV temp tag with my final tag number in the interim, which was nice. The only 2 things preventing 5 stars: 1) The finance guy was extremely rude and pressuring when we got my wife's vehicle. I did not need financing for my truck, but he tried to get me to finance with them and was still extremely rude and pressuring. 2) When you agree to let Ford give your information to partners, they sell your info immediately. I have gotten more calls and emails than I imagined about car warranty and such. I thought Ford would be more reputable in this respect. You should not sign the paper to add you to their spam list, even if you lose the deal. The calls and emails are of such volume it is a daily disruption. The unsubscribe option does not work either. You will still get calls and emails. Had I known this in advance, I would have walked on the deal regardless of how much I liked the truck.

Toni gave me an estimated time for the repair, which they were able to beat by a couple of days, and got me back on the road. Toni communicated well thru the entire experience. She is always friendly and available when my truck needs service and the cost is very competitive with other options. In the past, I've not been one to really use dealer service departments, but in recent years I've come to trust Peters for all our vehicle needs, both Ram and Chevy.

I was told this is buy here pay here. Later i found out there are multiple GPS trackers on your vehicle as well as a don't start deterrent that prevents your car from driving or starting if they choose. I was on autopay for $346 every other week and i made such without ever being late. on 09/13/24 my vehicle was repossessed for not having enough insurance on it. i called and spoke to Britney in Texarkana and she said we can work this out just make your payment and we'll get this fixed. I did just that. Monday i was told i cannot get my vehicle back unless i paid it in full. Now i have a repossession on my credit that show double the amount financed (56,000) of a 24,000 truck. And as i drive by the dealer today i see the vehicle all cleaned up and ready to be resold for the price i initially purchased it for. I looked this up and its suppose to go to auction and anything over is paid to me and anything under Autosmart can sue me for. I've reached out to these people and Lucas Ponder who is the Ceo i believe and no one will return my call. I've filed with the BBB and DPS on finding a solution. Now my credit is tarnished and this company does not tell anyone the truth or be up front. Their response is, its in the paperwork you sign. Anyone reading this know the amount of paperwork you sign when you get a vehicle. This was never explained to me about any GPS tracking, that it would be placed on my credit and that these proceedings would take place. I urge anyone reading this to stray away from Autosmart and Patterson, who is the owners of this. I'm seeking my credit to be deleted from this and willing to do all that is neccessary to make sure of such in court. Good luck and please never buy anything from these people.
