This place was near my old highschool POLAHS which is literally around the corner yet I never noticed. Needless to say I was hyped when I was looking for cafes to try because I took this route for four years, no gps needed and it was so close to it. I got a dirty chai and it tasted very good. The inside is nicely designed. There is plenty of seats and the chairs are comfy. If you went to POLAHS or are familiar with this area, you will find parking instantly. This place is pretty awesome. Nice, warm and welcoming ambiance. First time here so I ordered their signature iced Trident latte. It was really good. Have to adjust my review due to a few observations: -Prices have increased, while portion size has decreased. You'd think this go back into reinvestment in terms of menu or experience, but it's not the case. The food options continue to be subpar - they really need to offer more than pre frozen nondescript wraps that you throw into a toaster oven. The muffins are good though. -Decline in care: the water refill station has been out for several weeks. Is it really that difficult to refill? -They have a sign saying they prefer cash payments but ..: don't incentivize this? Why should patrons go out of their way to cater to a business' payment needs? That's not our responsibility. -The coffee itself has never been the star of the show, and has always tasted burned. This remains the case even with the increased pricing. It's still a good place to work for a few hours. Sometimes the patrons can get extremely loud but I don't think that's something that the shop can control. read more

I am a fan!! The inside is so cute. Lots of standing tables and booths and regular tables. Good wifi and lots of people there working. (But also a great place for gathering with friends!) lots of nice outdoor seating too. Didn't pay attention to prices but seemed reasonable/standard. I didn't love my cold brew, and my two friends didn't love their drinks (a sweetened fruit tea and the Dalmatian with oat milk). So that's why 4 stars. But honestly I'd come back and drink mediocre cold brew just to work or journal in the space. I think part of the reason the cold brew wasn't great was that it didn't have ice in it? So it wasn't actually that cold... Anyway, come here!! Free parking up the street. Busy but not annoyingly so on a sunny Sunday around 12 pm. read more

Great spot for an afternoon pick me up for sure. I always get a latte and pastry. I've had the banana muffin. It's baked with banana chips, which is fun. A small latte is enough for me because it's strong, and there's always a pretty design in my cup. You order and pay at the counter, and pick up your order at the side of the counter, but they don't take your name. So I ran into an issue once where the customer behind me stood right at the counter and took my drink, knowing very well that she ordered a drip coffee and not a latte. Doubt she even knows what a latte is. A little perturbed, to say the least. Poor staff were as dumbfounded as I was and had to make another latte for me. That's why they should take names when taking orders. Issue aside, the staff are nice and I like the overall ambience. Great seating, both indoors and out. This is a really fun coffee shop and I love the sirens/ocean theme, it's perfect for San Pedro! The indoor seating area is huge with plenty of places for large groups, a perfect space for working' studying. Sirens also has outside tables along the sidewalk. The staff is friendly, makes good drinks and keep the large shop immaculate. There is also plenty of street parking in addition to a large public lot all metered parking. I had a Double Espresso, which was very good, and my friend had the Regalatte which is one of their signature lattes. The Regalatte, and regal it is, is a combination of Mayan Chocolate & Espresso. A very good drink I plan on getting next time. As the name indicates they also have a large selection of teas. Sirens has an authentic community coffee shop vibe which is especially nice in a place like San Pedro which is really just a small town lost in Los Angeles :) In addition to the sea/harbor theme they also use the other meaning of siren to support police and firemen which is always appreciate. First off, I think the theme is great... I think it's so appropriate, especially for the area. I got the Mermaid's Kiss, which is white chocolate, espresso and raspberry. I got mine with oat milk. This was my first visit here. Every time I try a new coffee spot, I always try to order their signature drink and this was one of them. I really went out of my comfort zone with this drink. Not a huge fan of white chocolate nor raspberry for that matter, lol, but I was set on getting this drink. It really wasn't my cup of java. The texture and consistency were a bit weird. It's not a bad drink; I just think it's for a specific audience. Normally, I wouldn't get a drink with these flavors and I probably will not order again, however, I'm still glad I tried it. Absolutely love going here for coffee with my husband and baby. The staff is always very friendly and willing to give suggestions when asked. It's also beautifully decorated and always on theme with the current holiday! The biggest bonus for me is they have a high chair available for us to use! Sirens is a fun coffee house located right in the heart of downtown San Pedro. The first thing you notice about this place when you enter it is that it is very well designed. Not only are the walls adorned with some really interesting artwork but they have interesting statuary around the interior as well. The process to get your drink and/or treat here is to go up to the front counter, place your order, and the barista will make your drink and you can pick it up over to the left side of the coffee bar. In terms of drinks, they have all of your expected coffee orientated drinks as well as some other things for those of you who don't want to drink caffeine. They also have a number of treats such as muffins, scones, and things like that if you want to grab a light meal. The interior space has a number os seats that are all well spaced. They have a number of tables and booths around the business and they're all very comfortable. They also have a number of outdoor tables, for those of you who want to enjoy the fresh Southern California air. The only downside to Sirens is that they can get fairly busy. In these cases, you may have to wait a little while to order your drink and the seating may be full. There's no real way to predict when this place will get crowded, so you just have to keep that in mind, and be prepared for it, if you are heading to this business. Overall, if you want to get your latte, cappuccino, or other interesting drinks, and you are in the DTSP, then this is your place to go read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My wife wanted to stop there after lunch and I'm glad we did. I tried out the regalatte (Mayan chocolate and expresso). It was reallllly amazing. Only complaint, even with the 16oz, it was gone too soon :-( All seriousness, I really like their emphasis on drinks that feature Mayan chocolate. I was really surprised how attentive and patient they were with the many questions my wife and I asked (you might be seeing a trend from our other reviews). It is a solid place to meet up with a group. They have a lot of different latte options and flavored syrups. It is a reliable cup of coffee, good, but I just visit so many speciality coffee shops that I cannot say that it is the most amazing espresso or coffee ever nor are the prices low. You'll get a good espresso drink, but you are mainly paying for the cool space and the pleasant atmosphere. I would say the thing that makes Siren's different is their tea options and how big and clean their space is to study and meet up. They have a ton of loose leaf tea options that not many places can say that they offer. If someone in your group is not into coffee, they can get any number of high-quality jasmine, oolong, black and green teas along with the typical espresso drinks. Their dining room and outdoor seating is full of new comfortable booths, tables and chairs, and strong WiFi. You won't have trouble finding a a place to sit or a quite corner to meet up with your friends and catch up. I appreciate a strong place wear the tables aren't disgusting and there is always room to sit for a bit and chat, and Siren's definitely has the square footage to make you feel comfortable and not cramped. This is such a wonderful coffee shop in the heart of SP's Arts District/harbor area. They offer a variety of delicious coffee/espresso beverages, teas, kombucha, pastries, and light brunch items. It's very spacious for a coffee shop, and there are a variety of tables and booths to choose from. There are also several tables outdoors, both shaded and in the sun. The inside is beautifully decorated in theme with "where coffee meets the sea". There are some outlets available if needed and they provide free, reliable WiFi. They also have extra large mugs! This is a coffee shops that is best enjoyed by stopping in and sitting down to sip your beverage or meet a loved one. I also appreciate the consistent, quality & friendly service I receive there. I've been coming to Siren's for years and I've always had a lovely experience. I wanted to like this place because of the menu, ambiance and decor but the service left me with a bad taste in my mouth. We came in at 5pm-ish on a Sunday. The barista seemed like he either hated life or didn't like my husband for some reason, he kept staring at him and giving him dirty looks. Then another barista came out and instead of smiling at us, she also gave dirty unwelcoming looks. The coffee isn't great but it's a cute shop. I'd give it one more shot in the morning.
