Umm, this place is decent for San Pedro standards I guess. Not overly impressed, prices are a little high and limited selection. Not much for teas other than bags, no specialty blends like you find at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf cafes. Kinda noticed they sell a lot of stuff that is bought in bulk at Costco (such as bottles of Kombucha) and sold for way more. Which is fine, you are paying for the ambience I suppose. The people who work here are extremely friendly, so would come here if in a bind and needed a cup of something. Parking is tough here but my experience was decent find a spot. Probably wont make this a regular spot to hang, but considering San Pedro sucks in the selection of restaurants and cafes, I understand why the high Yelp reviews. I recommend the Hojas Cafe a couple streets over, a little bit better of a selection. read more

This place is so cute and the coffee is amazing. I visited this coffee shop for the 1st time on First Thursday and was blown away by the owner's attention to detail and quality of products. This is exactly the type of business downtown San Pedro needs! I now have a new coffee stop close to home and much more personable than any Starbucks I'd usually go to! read more

I am new to San Pedro (4yrs) and I have been exploring the local businesses now that I opened a physical therapy practice in the downtown area. I came across this coffee shop last week and I have to say it takes a lot to impress me and I am HIGHLY impressed. They make the BEST Vanilla Latte I have ever had! I didn't even have to ask for it extra hot.. perfect temperature( cause I order it with Almond milk). And this muffin, Rosemary Butternut.. it is delicious. The coffee shop is so warm and welcoming and clean and it is huge!! Lots of room to sit, cute tables and couches. My pocketbook is in trouble! If you live in the neighborhood come check it out. Sirens is my favorite coffee, hands down. Always hot, always roasty and strong but never ever bitter. Their pastries are great, cool vegan options, and they make actual food. The ambiance and decor in Sirens is my absolute favorite. It's airy and beachy with mermaids everywhere and somehow doesn't come off at all cheesy. It's just beautiful. My morning isn't complete without sirens coffee. read more

It is close to my work and the selection of walking distance restaurants is limited. The atmosphere is really warm and makes you feel invited. The prices are steep, $6.50 for an Egg cheese Croissant is too much for me. But once in a while a regular coffee is all I need. read more

This place is AWESOME! I've been to a lot of coffee houses in LA and the West Coast. I'm from Seattle so I know what I'm talking about. This is one of the best coffee houses I've been to in LA. Most LA coffee houses are too small, too crowded, too expensive and too coffee snobbish. This is a place you can relax and truly enjoy a nice cup of coffee as a cool sea breeze blows gently through the door. Plenty of space with a great relaxing decor. The staff is very nice and welcoming. You can strike up conversations. You feel at home. Just 30 min from downtown LA in San Pedro's art district. A great place to get away from it all. read more

Been waiting to try this place and finally made it through today during their short afternoon hours. They close at 6pm when most people are waiting to enjoy a cup of coffee and relax after work. They should at least stay open until 9pm in order to gain more customers. It's such a beautiful place, but register needs to be upfront to greet customers. Also, they need to have a bigger diverse menu. I was expecting to get a tea and the girl at the counter presented me with case of different pocket teas instead of a home made one which I was expecting. I ordered a coffee and they charge me $5 for a tiny cup and didn't ask me what size I preferred, not sure if this was an option. The coffee was awesome, but not for the price. Tried the dulce de leche cheesecake and it was also delicious. It's such a beautiful place to go to waste. They need to update their menu a little bit more with more items and selections , maybe get a bigger chalk board and place all the dessert items, salads, and sandwiches on the menu with colorful writing to bring attention to the customers and make it more attractive. Also placing it above the dessert counters by the entrance with the register. Just a word of advise, to help out management. It's such a lovely and cozy place, make it work the right way. Hope they take my advise. To conclude, a bigger sign up front would also work in your favor. I drove by a couple of times until I finally had to look up the address via yelp to get the right location. Signs are a little to small for the area and building. read more

I love the mermaid theme and the shop is very cute. There are plenty of places to sit and they have a dog bowl outside. It is on the pricier side- $8 for a pie in a jar yikes and $4.50 for a regular sized latte. I have been here twice and tried the regalatte (because it was the house special) and a vanilla latte iced. I was not a fan of either. The regalatte was really cinnamon-y and just not tasty and the vanilla latte tasted burnt? Just a weird flavor. Had to shake it because all of the sweet syrup was at the bottom. read more

This is my favorite coffee shop ever. I love the nautical and mermaid decor. The coffee is great but I am leaving a review for the barista named Monica. She was really great and you can tell she tried her best to make sure each customer was content with their order. The customers before me asked for a matcha cafe latte and she informed them it has espresso is they were sure that's what they wanted and they didn't so it was great because most people don't know and I appreciated that. When it was my turn she took my order and later informed me the espresso melted a lot of ice and if I wanted more to just let her know. Congratulations to Yolanda Regalado on this fabulous new coffee house. It is a very attractive space with a striking mosaic art installation on the back wall honoring fallen first responders. (Her brother was a firefighter who died in the line of duty.) The coffee is hot and good -- not bitter! -- the selection of fancy coffees very nice and the pastries are fresh. Give it a try! First off this is a coffee house not a tea house. I had hoped that they would have different combination of hot tea drinks like coffee, but they do not. If you want a flavored tea drink it needs to be created and they use a tea bag. Letting a tea bag sit in hot water is not a tea house in my opinion. The server tried hard to accommodate my request for a basic black tea, vanilla, latte. It came very weak flavored probably because of the tea bag instead of actual tea leaves. My Keurig does better. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. If you want a nice environment and flavored coffees this is your place. I hope they do better with the tea and I would be a regular. read more

Don't believe the hours posted here. Twice I have paid for street parking only to learn that the shop was closing two hours early! I'll return to Starbucks - at least there the hours stated are upheld and the WiFi is free for as long as you are there. I'm done with this place. read more

Wow. The feel and design of this place was amazing. I won't go for coffee anywhere else in the area.

Great place to spend some time. The food and coffee were inexpensive. Although, I was not impressed by the coffee. It was weak and not that good. My nephew enjoyed the kids corner and was causing a muck. I will be back to try the WIFI and some of the other pastries and teas. Overall, it seems like a nice place. I will come back and I hope they will win me over. read more

The vibe, the message, and decor in this place are just beautiful, it's definitely nice for San Pedro to have something like this. Open 'til 8pm on Friday!! I love this place for the spacious, high-ceiling, and the many seating areas. The light-filled space matches the friendly staff. The coffee and tea are fantastic. I like the hibiscus and the mint iced teas. The Regalatte (spiced mocha) is another favorite of mine. The only sandwich I tried was the delicious black-forest ham croissant. Came across this place when I was across the street making an appt to get my hair cut. I came in and loved the atmosphere! They have pastries,plenty of seating, and even bath bombs! Been meaning to try this place for a while but never got around to it until the other day. I went in for a breakfast bite and I was not disappointed. I had a breakfast sandwich, which is black forrest ham and meunster cheese on a croissant, and an iced coffee. The sandwich was perfect. The ham was tasty as was the cheese. The croissant they used is a good quality and tasty. They heat it in the convection oven so it doesn't become soggy from a microwave warming. The staff is very polite and helpful. Definitely a nice spot to go grab a breakfast or a quiet cup of coffee for a pick me up. Glad to have a coffee shop that isn't a major chain near my office. read more

I love this place. I went to Sirens to study and found my new favorite coffee shop. It is bright and airy and large with plenty of seating. It has a really pleasant ambience that makes you want to stay a while. The coffee was nice and strong and the baked goods looked delicious. I had the chocolate chip cookies and would get them again.
