Their matcha, the Salted Maple Cinnamon Matcha w/ oat milk was so good. It was perfect balance (:

Very cute and refreshing stand! They attended an event I went to called Bukas.Society. Definitely hit the spot in a summer day.

The inside is super charming, with cozy décor and a few tables to sit and enjoy your treats. There's even a cute little sofa area near the restroom, which adds to the overall vibe. And yes, the restroom has a long mirror that's perfect for a quick photo op lol. The girl who took my order tonight was super friendly and sweet she was a 10/10 for me with customer service! I ordered the pistachio matcha and it was so good. I also picked up a Biscoff mini cake for my best friend, and she loved it. Personally, I was expecting a stronger Biscoff flavor, but it leaned more toward a light, creamy pastry. Still soft, tasty, and enjoyable. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try more drinks and pastries. If you're in the area, it's absolutely worth stopping by!

Craving matcha turned into a mild parking obstacle course near California State University,…read moreFullerton, because apparently the real challenge is fitting your car into a space designed for a bicycle with confidence issues. Inside Vivot, it's giving "finals week survival zone" with students glued to laptops, one brave employee running the entire operation, and a self-order kiosk doing its best emotional support role. We kept our Matcha Latte classy, 25% sweetness with oat milk to really interrogate the matcha and honestly it passed the vibe check!! Smooth, solid, and worth the parking gymnastics. Oh and also, they are open late, closes at 11pm week nights and midnight on weekends.

I had ordered a milk tea and their Thai tea and was super disappointed with the flavor it was complete milk unfortunately and no sweeteners despite us having the 100% sweetener option. The drinks came out very far from each other time wise as well which isn't a super big issue but it's noticeable and could be an issue for bigger orders. Super busy somehow so we didn't want to burden the worker while the store had a rush. Other than that the place gave me a very pretentious vibe. I'm all for starting a business you're passionate about but it's hard to see what's different about THIS cafe in a world full of other businesses claiming to be different that's serving the same items (matcha specifically). Not to say that there's not bad matcha or coffee out there, there is. Seems like the type of cafe people go to take a picture of their drinks and pretend like they're connoisseurs and pretend that it's "different" than whatever else is out there and sit and pretend to study on their laptop (even though it's the loudest and crowded place in the world in there). Seeing that the place opened recently, it's very hard to believe this isn't some type of money grab for a younger audience to serve trendy drinks. Or at the very least, a very expensive passion project for the owner. Overall just more focused on aesthetics more than anything.

I sat at the one available table and savored both items. The Biscoff latte was iced, with just enough ice to make it cold. I appreciate that they didn't overdo the ice like most coffee places. The flavor of cookie butter was vivid, sweet, and delicious. The cream top and crumbles of Biscoff added to the visual appeal. The lemon bar was slightly sweet and citrusy, with a tasty thin outer crust, the top of which was sprinkled with powdered sugar. For me, this was a perfect lemon bar in every way. If I lived anywhere near here, this would be a regular stop.

Service was really good. The place inside is cute with a clean, minimal vibe. There are small white tables lined along the wall with a bench and stools and some simple decor and artwork that gives it a cozy feel. It's not very big, but there were still plenty of open tables which was nice. Everything was clean and parking was easy since it's in a shopping center. I'm looking forward to trying more next time. Deff a decent spot if you're in the area and want something simple and low key.
