We got a $100 Gift Card to Sip85 as a wedding present from one of my best friends. We did not know anything about the place, but after eating at Sip85 last night, this gift has rocketed to the top of our wedding gift list and has claimed the title of "BEST WEDDING GIFT." We started with the brussel sprout appetizer, and they were so good, we ordered another one at the end of the night to take home so we could have it again at home, it also showed up in our dreams that night.....The Brussel Sprouts are that good people! We then ordered the Short Rib Meatballs, i won't be short in my praise of this dish. Two meatballs, one for each of us. They didn't stay on the plate long. Would definitely order them again on our next visit. Sip Dusted Wings and Truffle Mac and Cheese came next and i have to say. that i have never had a textured wing like the Sip Dusted Wings. They were a combination of fried and grill, which gave them a crispy almost perfect flavor, with the dusted chili dry rub. As a fan of wings, i can honestly say, these are some of the best wings I have had, the different favor and texture, separate them from anything you find at other places when it comes to wings. Order and you will see what i am talking about. The Truffle Mac and Cheese was wonderful as well. It has a little kick of spice to it that was not overpowering, but just right for the dish. it was a nice addition to our spread of food that we ordered. For our main course, we went with the 14oz Double Cut Pork Chop with mustard maple glaze, after eating all those appetizers, we were able to mustard up enough to each take down one of these pork chops and it was incredible. Right amount of Char, right amount of maple and mustard that made each bite memorable and well worth ordering again in our opinion. While eating all this we were at happy hour prices for wine, we each had 2, $4 Pinot Noir glasses to go with this entire meal. We had no room left for dessert, but we did order Carmel Sea Salt Cheesecake with Chocolate cover bacon strip to go, along with the Brussel Sprout app from above. When we got home the cheesecake was the perfect night cap to a wonderful experience we had a Sip85. Our bill in total was $100.58 cents for everything to eat and drink. The atmosphere, the service (JILL), the food, and the fun we had at Sip85 was priceless. It was the best date night my wife and I have ever had. We will definitely make trips back to Palm Harbor to visit this place. You have a customer in Wesley Chapel, who will tell anyone that will listen that Sip 85 is 5 stars, if there was a 6 star Sip85 would get it. My friend who gave us the gift card is getting a well deserved THANK YOU card from us, for this delicious date he gave a newlywed couple. Well done, Sip 85 we will be back again and again. The food was actually pretty good. The disappointment came when we were told that the side was asparagus and it turned out to green beans. When we told our server that what we were served was not what we ordered, he offended us us by telling us that if we knew anything about the business, things change without warning. My second time there, my wife's first. The brussel sprout appetizer is outstanding!! Pancetta, truffle and reggianno cheese prepared perfectly. Second app was deviled eggs which were amazing with what I think was Nueskes bacon fro Wisconsin. Wife had pan roasted 1/2 chicken which was cooked perfectly with a slightly crispy skin and as tender, tasteful and as juicy as any chicken I've had in in my life. Changed our plans last minute and decided to try it out. I keep hearing great things about it and we were not in the least disappointed. Food was flavorful, well plated, visually appealing and priced very fair. A lovely wine selection and the server was knowledgeable which is always appreciated and his recommendations we spot on. Acoustically it is a little on the loud side inside but to be expected for the size. There is seating outside available which is an option for a quieter dinner. My husband and I love this little gem. The seating is limited so if you go on a busy night the wait can be long, or you'll sit outside. But it's worth the wait! Just enough drink options for me on the wine menu, and the food menu isn't overly long. Just enough options to serve anyone, and everything is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Absolutely perfect, thoughtful menu. This restaurant is exactly what East Lake needs. Tomahawk steaks are definitely the flagship steak and take up the whole table! Also, Chef Rob officially turned Brussels Sprouts from a bad word into an addiction. The craziest wings I've ever had - they seem to be smoked and the seasoning is like a gourmet Dorito's chip. Make sure you try all of them. Had the sprouts, neuske bacon, steak, lamb lollipops, pretzel bites, calamari, and pancetta-wrapped shrimp - each one is better than the next, and all are amazing. My husband and I were planning to go to a nearby restaurant but realized when we pulled up that Sip85 was in the same plaza. We had seen on Yelp that it had opened a few weeks prior, so we decided to change our plans and head here. It was packed on a weekday evening - it looked like the owners were mingling and drinking with their buddies, who were many of the guests. The decor is neat and trendy, but sophisticated. The crowd is also interesting - I felt like I was on Real Housewives of Palm Harbor or something, if that gives any indication. Not exactly my scene, but certainly good for others! The noise level was loud. SO loud. There is nothing to absorb the sound, so don't go expecting to have an intimate conversation. Our server was really nice, helpful, and friendly. We wanted to order the crab guacamole special, but he said it had just sold out. So we ordered the shrimp wrapped in prosciutto, truffle fries, truffle mac n cheese, and brussel sprouts. The highlight of the meal was definitely the shrimp - they were some of the best, biggest shrimp I have ever had. SO delicious. The only disappointment was the mac n cheese, which had no truffle flavor at all. The brussel sprouts were tasty, but SO fried I might as well have been eating chips. While yummy, defeats the purpose of brussel sprouts in my opinion. Truffle fries were really good, as truffle fries typically are! As we were eating our dishes, we saw lots of other tables being served the crab guac, which was a total bummer because it looked amazing. Our server said they started making it again a few minutes after we ordered. I would definitely order that upon a return visit. I think Sip85 is a good addition to the area. I'm surprised they are calling themselves a steakhouse because that's not the vibe they give off at all. It's more of a trendy restaurant with a hopping bar scene (and hopping dinner scene, too). I would return, but either sit outside or go with people with whom I don't want to have a conversation because it's so noisy! read more

We had the meat and cheese plate and the portion for 2 was perfect as a starter for 4. The steak tips and lamb were delicious, cooked perfectly with tasty seasoning.
