We waited probably about 15 mins to get seated and then it took about another 20 to order and get our food. We got a beef tofu stew (not picture) $17 and a beef hot stone bibimbap $19. We each got our own side dish with 4 side dishes. There was cabbage kimchi, radish kimchi, cucumber kimchi, and a soy braised potato with fish cakes. I love a good hot stone bibimbap because of the crispy rice and this was CRISPY. I loved it. The side dishes were the perfect compliment to the dishes too. I will say my only complaint is the beef wasn't as flavorful as some other places but with how much food they're cranking out with only 2 people, they're doing a pretty great job. Despite all the people coming in and the people eating, the lady in the front was still happy and let people know there would be at least a 30 min wait to get seated. Overall, I would probably go here again if I was in the area and wanted a got stone bibimbap and didn't mind a wait but its definitely not a place to go if you're starving due to the potentially long waits.

They were out of the shrimp but she would substitute with two beef dumplings. The dumplings were crispy and hot, served with a side of soy and sweet pickled radish (I think). The kimchi was (surprisingly) my favorite. It was a perfect portion for dinner for one. Will definitely need to research the menu for a return visit. FYI...The dining room is small so perfect for singles or couples but definitely not fitting for groups. Parking available in front but handicap spots are non existent.

Excellent portions and highly recommend coming here with a small group so you can share. This place isn't too big though. Jokbal was tender. One of the best I've had here in A-town. Intestine had a little kick but the noodles soaked up so much of the flavors! Intestine was also very tender and tastes clean. Mushroom soup was a good balance to the dish. Felt light and a good balance to the other two dishes. Will be back :)

This is only the second soondae restaurant I've visited in the U.S., but my Korean…read moresister-in-law--who lived in Korea for more than 25 years and has eaten at many soondae restaurants--was genuinely impressed. That's a pretty strong endorsement. Also the interior of the restaurant was fairly modern and clean. For anyone unfamiliar with it, soondae (순대) is a traditional Korean blood sausage made by stuffing pork or beef intestines with a mixture of blood, glass noodles, rice or starch, and seasonings. It's one of Korea's most popular street foods and is typically enjoyed with salt or a dipping sauce. One thing to know before you go: this restaurant specializes in soup-based dishes. Every entrée revolves around soup, including the bulgogi. I had never seen bulgogi served in a broth before, so it was a pleasant surprise for both my boyfriend and me. Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. It's a thoughtful touch that keeps the soup leak-proof and makes transporting leftovers much easier. If you're craving authentic Korean comfort food--especially soondae soup--this place is definitely worth a visit.

We sat at a semi private table and we were immediately given a pitcher of ice cold water. I was very excited to try the tofu here! We ordered the tofu karaage which was deliciously crunchy and came with a really good sweet sauce. Next came out the banchan which were plentiful (see pic). I was starting to get pretty full at this point! I ordered the tofu kimchi stir fry with pork and it was really good and just the right level of spice. The portion was HUGE. I brought half home. It also came with the choice of white or purple rice. My husband got bibimbap and it came out piping out. He cleared the plate. Service was incredibly quick and friendly. I definitely enjoyed my tofu stew, the tofu was so silky I almost bought some to take home (but couldn't because it needed refrigeration and we weren't heading home right away on that hot day) I also absolutely adored the potato pancake, something I've never had and thought the flavor and texture is so much better than the seafood pancake usually eaten at K-bbq. Gotta love the starch!! Friends ordered grilled meats and I snuck a tiny bit to taste (since I can't handle their level of spiciness! ) they were delicious. The grilled meats and potato pancake go surprisingly well with the purple rice which might have ended up being my most favorite side dish! The grilled fish was ok. I've had better. But all the little appetizing dishes accustomed to Korean cuisine were fantastic! Will definitely come back!

This is always our to go spot to grab some classic chinese dishes. We always get their roast duck! Came in on July 4th and was a little busier than usual, however I was greeted fast by the friendly staff and got taken care of as soon as they can. Let me know that it was gonna be a while (we had placed an order of one whole roast duck and one chicken rice plate dish to go). I said no problem as I was gonna do groceries next door to HMart anyways along with the other customers as well. Came back and had to wait only a couple more minutes, I can tell they were pack but no problem at all as I was very happy to see some very fresh, crispy, and awesome looking ducks being brought out to hang so was super stoked right away. The roast duck is my familys favorite and this time came out even better than before maybe because it was so fresh. Ctispy skin and tender meat packing with awesome authentic flavors. **Ambiance** This…read moreplace definitely gives off a hole-in-the-wall vibe, which honestly is one of my favorite kinds of places. It reminded me a lot of those tiny roast meat shops and restaurant stalls you'd find in NYC's Chinatown. The dining area is pretty small, so it can get a little warm inside, but they do have AC units and fans running to help keep things comfortable. There are only four tables indoors--two larger tables that can fit about four people each and two smaller tables for two. They also have a few tables outside if you'd rather sit outdoors. **Service** Service was great. The lady working there was super friendly and spoke English, Cantonese, and Mandarin fluently. She was welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions. **Food** The star of the show is definitely the roasted meats. They make their own roast duck, roast pork, and BBQ pork in-house, and everything I tried was delicious. As someone who grew up eating a lot of Chinese BBQ in Las Vegas, I have to admit I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the meat here. The quality and flavor were honestly better than many places I've tried back home, and Vegas has no shortage of Chinese restaurants. The BBQ pork especially stood out. It was mostly lean meat with just the right amount of fat for flavor. A lot of places load it up with huge layers of fat, and you end up feeling like you're chewing more fat than meat. Here, every bite felt balanced and flavorful. **Overall** Now that I know they're right next to H Mart, I can definitely see myself making the drive whenever I'm craving roast duck, roast pork, or BBQ pork. The reality is there really isn't anywhere else in Colorado Springs that specializes in Cantonese-style roasted meats like this, so if that's what you're craving, this is the place to go.
