Pagoda is only like a mile from home but the quality of the food there took a giant step backwards. I hear the same about Great Wall. Everyone on FB was staying Sing Hee so I tried it. Had Pork w/Broccoli combo and it was way better than Pagoda. Because the Egg roll wasn't all that great they only get 4 stars. I love this Chinese take-out restaurant. The chicken chow mien has a very light sauce so you can really taste the fresh steamed vegetables. The hot and sour soup is peppery which is a preparation I happen to enjoy. Ask for the hot oil in case you want to add more heat. I've also had other choices. All their sauces are very tasty. People that comment about the counter people are correct that they don't seem welcoming. They are efficient, serious and business like. My husband and I tried Sing Hee tonight as first time customers. The food was ready within 15 minutes of ordering. While the building was kind of tricky to find (you enter through the Rite Aid parking lot); we were very impressed to see such a pristine-clean establishment. The food ended up exceeding expectations! We ordered chicken wings, fried rice, lo mein noodles and general tsao's chicken. Everything was delicious and I was surprised that so much food actually came at an extremely reasonable price. The portions were huge, which made every cent spent that much more worth it. I was able to customize how spicy my general tsao's was, which was great for someone like me who doesn't love a super spicy version. All said and done, we would totally come back again in the future. Sing Hee has been my favorite Chinese take out since the 80's when they were in the plaza across the street. The plaza is long gone but their fresh dishes remain true to the Americanized Chinese dishes you'd expect. While I was living in the area I have ordered from here at least once a week and can't say enough about their fresh meats and vegetables. read more

They have the best egg roll dough I've ever tasted!! Dishes are lightly seasoned and not overly greasy. Place looks clean.

This food was the best I've had in the area the past few years, but the general tso chicken didn't have much flavor and the fried rice was dry. But the orange chicken was awesome, as were the fried wontons and even the French fries. Fortunes were fun!! We will def try this place again! read more

I have been a fan of Sing Hee for many years....and the reviews noting the unwelcoming behavior of the counter people is in my opinion very accurate.....however, I visited two days ago and was welcomed out in the parking lot by a young man running after a senior citizen who forgot part of her order. When I approached the counter to order I noticed all new faces. I asked about a luncheon special....Sesame Chicken...which was not on the lunch menu. The young lady said "no problem we will make it for you" and she said it soo pleasantly and with a smile. In the past.....if you made a special request at Sing Hee...there was always an EXTRA charge...even if you were asking them to eliminate an ingredient. Just went here for the first time yesterday and ordered wonton soup, chicken lo mein, chicken mei fun, general tso, sesame chicken, and pork fried rice. The general tso and sesame chicken were absolutely the best I have ever had and the wonton soup was also darker and had more flavor. Some of the best Chinese food in the area, but I would not support them if their food was not so good for the little reasons that continue to annoy me. My main issue is they are extremely cheap. It's the only Chinese take-out that doesn't leave the sauces available for your own taking, instead you order 4 meals and they give you 3 soy sauce and duck sauce packets. I have been ordering food here often for over 20 years and tonight I ordered small (under $5) and they wouldn't let me use my debit card... very frustrating when you are a regular and have been supporting the business for so long. I think it's time to eliminate the minimum credit card sale dollar amount. We are now in a time where more and more people are carrying minimal to no cash on hand for good reasons. read more

Well.....We've been ordering our food from Sing Hee for years...even in their previous location. Over the past year our order wasn't filled correctly on three separate occasions. And, I'd have to say that their quality is slipping. Over the past six (6) months they don't even greet people with a social "hello"....never a "thank you" any longer either. I've always been a social rather happy person and I like to be greeted with a smile in return for mine.
