This place is awful. The food that they're serving is like poison. You could do your body so much better going anyplace else you could go eat at Burger King and their food would be more healthier than this place. Their chicken is not white meat. It's all the dark meat like it's like the Crap that you don't wanna eat going to any place other than this just go over to Dunkin' Donuts and have yourself a nice fresh breakfast sandwich I hear the sourdough bread sandwich is good over there. Too bad this place has lost a long time customer. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt on the food, every cook can have a bad night,but tonight they lost me. Ordered Szechuan Chicken and it was horrible! First the chicken had the texture of tofu, there was absolutely no spice, and it was 80-90% green peppers. I wouldn't mind but call it what it is Szechuan peppers with chicken/tofu. This is the third time I've ordered and been really disappointed. Food quality has gone way down and prices are creeping up. Sad because this place was really convenient and fast but won't risk it anymore. read more

This place has declined over the last six months. I used to thoroughly enjoy most any dish ordered and recommended it highly to those who were looking for great Chinese. The past two times I ordered, the order was wrong, the food not at all like I had become used to and will think hard about going back. Ordering a shrimp and vegetable dish and the vegetables were mush and in so much thin sauce I could've added the rice to the entree and made soup was Sooooo very disappointing. read more

Fighting with myself not to give this one star. I've eaten here a few dozen times, as I've lived within a mile of the place for the last 4-5 years. The food was always pretty good and I never had any complaints....until one day several years ago, I ordered my usual General Tso's Tofu (or maybe General Tso's chicken back then) and I found a hair in it. A short hair. Pube? Animal hair? Who knows? Oh, wait...not just one hair, but two. Whoops, make that three. Four. I stopped counting then, but there must have been AT LEAST 20 or 30 hairs in my food. It seriously looked like someone had shaved off their beard over my dinner. I stopped going to Shong Fa Jiang for at least 3 years. I've been back once so far in 2015 and the food was good and without any added goodies. On the fence about this place. May or may not try it one more time. read more

I don't usually come here as often anymore, but when I do, my food is usually great. Today, however, I came with a friend, and my friend told me she found a short, black hair in her food. Not sure how many could've been in the food, but we decided to ignore it. What made us decide to leave was when we saw one of the workers check their children for possibly lice. I say possibly because I'm not sure exactly what the worker was checking, but it seemed like a basic procedure on what to do when checking your kid for lice. Then, we saw the same worker sit down at one of the chairs, and pop the same kid's pimple. The worker then continues to wipe the puss, that I assume it was. After this encounter, I don't believe I will be coming back because I find it disgusting and unsanitary that you are popping your kid's pimples and checking for possible lice in front of eating customers. read more

We ordered the general tsos chicken and spicy orange beef. Both were absolutely tasteless. It was like eating breaded chicken soaked in this awful sauce. The only saving grace was the fried rice was pretty good and so was the egg roll and it wasn't greasy. But I wouldn't go back... ever read more

Always found the food very good. Service quick, orders usually without an issue. And I mean no offense to people who have Engish as their second language (you're better than me with only one language), but they have someone to take orders who is easy to understand. read more

Have come here for years always good. But the last 5 months food is tasteless, we have tried all different items general tso's chicken fried to hard, sauce not spicy. Boneless spareribs overcooked to crispy and very hard, The broth for soups has no flavor at all, Fried Shrimp are very small all coating. Orange chicken was awful used orange marmalade that was sour. Beef and chinese vegies all onions very little of anything else sauce tasteless. The Chinese donuts are Pillsbury Grand Biscuits put into fryer then sprinkled with sugar. I Have noticed there have been different cooks but they all cook the same, no seasoning ,no flavor.And we have tried many different items. It is very good when the father is in town from China and working the place but that's not often. The daughter runs the place and can care less, but likes the cash. I usually drop $48.00 To $65.00 when I go. Family says no more find another restaurant. read more
