It's definitely not the American version we are accustomed to. There were veggies we couldn't identify, while others used in ways new to us. The food was all very flavorful And everything is still made fresh in their kitchen. Another tip is Pleeeease don't ask for soy sauce, duck sauce, or any other condiments you are used to. They put their heart and soul in these dishes so It is very offensive. Appreciate the food as prepared, and don't try to Americanize out of habit. Taste it first, I can almost guarantee that you won't need it. Remember these are Chinese people bringing a taste of their culture to America.
