Amazing chicken shawarma, crispy fries, great ambience, and excellent service. Highly recommend!

I visited Sincerely Syria in Anaheim during the weekend, which is usually one of the busiest times for restaurants, but unfortunately the place was almost completely empty. The lack of customers made the atmosphere feel very quiet, and I honestly think the location may be part of the problem. This restaurant would likely do much better in a busier area, such as Brookhurst, where there is more traffic and a stronger Middle Eastern community. However, I want to give special recognition to one of the employees, Yamen. He was excellent, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. He prepared my chicken sandwich perfectly, and the French fries were also very well made and delicious. The food and service from Yamen were very good, but the restaurant needs a better location, stronger advertising, and more customer traffic. I hope management recognizes the hardworking employees and finds ways to bring more people into the restaurant. read more

Avengers Assemble! Iron Man flew out for an urgent mission. The Quinjet needed repairs. Hulk and Thor seemed too distracted with brawling and wrestling. So...we went low tech and opened the Uber Eats app to try this place. Very fast pickup service from the time we hit order! The wraps were excellent and we tried different meats inside. Very juicy and moist. Loved the grilled wrap. Pickled cucumbers were decent, not great. Fries were below average and too mealy and not crispy (even though they were still warm). Just not good preparation. So that is negative one star. The wraps are excellent and would definitely recommend. Plus, open late! read more

I feel like I basically ordered the wrong thing here. I got the 12' chicken platter and wish I had gotten the beef/lamb one. The shawarmas were very dry and bland. It had hardly any flavor to it. The garlic / yoghurt sauce was ok. It had some garlic scent but otherwise had no salt or lemon taste to it and I found it too bland for my liking. The fries were the best part. The pickles were a bit too mushy for my tasting. I wouldn't mind trying their food again, but just not the chicken ones. The service was friendly and parking was ample when I visited. Absolutely no customers inside despite the huge space. Made me feel kinda sad. read more

As a Syrian who has been to Syria many times, I must say the shawarma was very good. It was just as good as back in Syria. The portions were surprisingly generous as well compared to other places. It took about 10 minutes to get the food which is not terrible but not great for shawarma. The place was empty, it was only the 3 of us in the whole restaurant, kinda depressing actually. I also felt like the place could be a bit cleaner, they can definitely use a deep cleaning there. Wasn't the filthiest place In have seen in the area but definitely needs cleaning for sure. I really liked the food and I am only mentioning these things so they can hopefully address these issues. If they can at least clean the place up and maybe do a little more decorating I believe they would attract more customers. I really hope to see this place have more business. read more

This place has the best Shawarma you can get in the area! The service is extremely amazing. The owner of the store came out to greet us and was super friendly the atmosphere it's very quiet exactly how it should be. I would highly recommend and I easily give this place a 10 star. read more

When you walk in to order, there is no paper menus, but a board over the county list: Chicken Shawarma, Beef shawarma, and beef and veal Shawarma, with picture , and then a picture of a platter! THATS is!!! My chicken Shawarma had small amount of dry, brownish edge of dark meat, with a thin pickle spear in the middle, and no hummus spread ! One bite was enough ! My husbands beef and veal was also very dry, he ate 1/2 because he said he was hungry! There were no ambiance , just white walls with 2 side by side tv.s And a cooler cabinet with drinks! There were only 2 other people in there, but they appeared to be friends! We only live around the corner, but we will not return ! This is a very new business , but I think they have to make some serious changes, especially since there are several very good ones close by! read more

The logo got me. I decided to go in there and to try the special Syrian Shawarma pretty empty in the place of course we got there at almost 11. Tried the beef and the chicken I wouldn't go with the chicken as the chicken taste like fajitas however, the beef wasn't bad actually had some vegetables and when I say vegetables I'm talking about parsley and onions. Some tomatoes would've been nice and the sauce is mediocre at best overall not bad if you're super drunk, but if you can taste every bite, not bad. read more

As someone who grew up eating authentic Middle Eastern food, I can confidently say this is some of the best shawarma I've had in California. The meat was incredibly flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh saj bread brought everything together. You can really tell they care about authenticity and quality. The staff were welcoming and the service was quick, even during a busy time. If you're looking for real Syrian shawarma, Sincerely Syria is absolutely worth the visit. We had tried Syrian Style wraps before but weren't huge fans. We wanted to try again and decided to try this place after we saw a TikTok Review. We were not disappointed. We shared the 24" chicken plate and it was plenty of food for 2. We wanted more only because we really enjoyed it. The wrap was simple but the chicken had so much flavor it didn't need much else. The pickles in the wrap were so good, and I'm not usually a pickle fan. We think the wrap already had the toum (garlic sauce) on it but we def added more. Can't go wrong with crinkle cut fries. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was pretty empty when we went so lots of seating and the parking lot had lots of space. Hidden gem in a low key strip mall. Hands down one of the best chicken Shawarma Wraps I had in OC. I ordered the 12" Chicken Wrap for $13.99 and it came with a side of garlic sauce (thoum). Inside the wrap had chicken, pickles, and thoum, which if you know authentic shawarma, this is how it's supposed to be. The wrap was perfectly toasted in my opinion and they were very generous with the chicken. One wrap was more than enough for me. I thought the price was a little high but after seeing how good it is and how generous they are with the portion, I would definitely come back. read more

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. I ordered a lot of sandwiches which were all chicken shawarma and I ordered a plate of the Arabic style which is usually the sandwich cut up and here is the review of the food. Chicken plate shawerma - Tastes really good, very large portion and it's exactly the Syrian style. Shawerma sandwich - this was by far my favorite that I have tried and it's the closest to eating it back home in Damascus Syria. The sandwich tastes amazing and they burn it exactly the way it's supposed to be. I took the food in my car for 1 hour because I had to take it back home and it still tasted amazing but I am sure it would even taste better eating it inside the restaurant. While I was waiting for my food, I got a chance to speak with the owner in the Anaheim location and he is truly loving of his craft, we spoke about the food back home and he told me how they work really hard to make sure it tastes exactly the same way that it does in Syria. One thing I like to point out is that while I was ordering the food, I didn't know how big the portions were and I was just making a really big order and the owner actually stopped and took the time to explain to me that maybe I ordered too much food which I found to be really really respectable. I hope everybody gets a chance to try this place because it's definitely worth it and I hope they keep the same recipe because it's the closest to anything I had that reminds me of back home read more

One of my favorite shawarma shops in Anaheim! Whenever I come out this way, I try to stop by. Very authentic food and it's flavorful unlike a lot of these other shawarma places in the area. It's a little pricey but I would say it's well worth it in comparison to other places offering something at a similar price for a mediocre shawarma read more

Place was empty around 1pm on a Sunday, then few people started to walk in when we left. The interior feels empty or missing something not sure. They also need to turn on the AC. Disappointed is an understatement. I asked the guy before I ordered if the garlic sauce (thoum) was purely garlic or garlic with mayonnaise. He assured me it was purely garlic. I ordered my overpriced wrap ($15.50) and decided to eat in the restaurant. Opened my plate and dipped my sandwich in the sauce. Guess what it was? After I asked 5x to make SURE it was just garlic, turned out to be what tasted like pure mayonnaise. The shawarma wasn't good either. I don't recommend this place at all. And Tony's review in the garlic sauce is solely based on him not understanding the food he is eating, some garlic sauces have mayonnaise and some don't , next time you try a different culture food understand what you're purchasing , the food is amazing here. read more
