I really like that they have a simple menu . Got the chicken plate enough for two people. Yummy!

Not recommended Watch out ! The guy over there and in the picture is not honest he over charged intentionally me for a sandwich instead of $13.99 he charged for a plate $15.99. I was clear and we had a conversation even in his language. When I got the txt from the bank I called him and he didn't apologize. Take care guys and I will never be back Sandwich doesn't worth $13.99 overpriced and they are not ethical

We had tried Syrian Style wraps before but weren't huge fans. We wanted to try again and decided to try this place after we saw a TikTok Review. We were not disappointed. We shared the 24" chicken plate and it was plenty of food for 2. We wanted more only because we really enjoyed it. The wrap was simple but the chicken had so much flavor it didn't need much else. The pickles in the wrap were so good, and I'm not usually a pickle fan. We think the wrap already had the toum (garlic sauce) on it but we def added more. Can't go wrong with crinkle cut fries. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was pretty empty when we went so lots of seating and the parking lot had lots of space. Hidden gem in a low key strip mall. Definitely coming back here again.

Hands down one of the best chicken Shawarma Wraps I had in OC. I ordered the 12" Chicken Wrap for $13.99 and it came with a side of garlic sauce (thoum). Inside the wrap had chicken, pickles, and thoum, which if you know authentic shawarma, this is how it's supposed to be. The wrap was perfectly toasted in my opinion and they were very generous with the chicken. One wrap was more than enough for me. I thought the price was a little high but after seeing how good it is and how generous they are with the portion, I would definitely come back.

I went that restaurant. I asked Shawarma beef 12 piece. When I open the plate only 7 pieces not 12 When I went first time there when I got to the plate. It was only seven pieces there and I went second time and I ask again for the 12th piece of shawarma beef and the person whose work there he say OK. It was only 7 pieces not 12 pieces I pay for the 12 piece. tasty was of the Shawarma it was good. I like it, but The plate when I get it, it was only seven not 12 so just be honest with customer don't let customer pay for the 12 pieces and I got it only seven piece. if you wanna successfully in your business customer service are number one.

Rammah and Yammen, the best duo, making the best shawarma I've ever had in the US! Great customer service, big space, a lot of ketchup, tahini, garlic dip... great spot, Halal Food! AlhamdulilLah. Very generous.

So far this is the Best chicken Shawerma in OC, we tried both the beef and the Chicken, I personally would get only chicken next time. Place was empty around 1pm on a Sunday, then few people started to walk in when we left. The interior feels empty or missing something not sure. They also need to turn on the AC. Service & the taste of the food was great which is what matters most. We'll be back!

I was put on by friends who…read moregrew up in the Middle East and told me this place is the real deal so of course I had to try it. Let's just say they did NOT steer me wrong. From the moment you walk in, you already see people walking out with boxes on boxes which tells you everything. This is the kind of place you come to eat and to cater. They do have plenty of seating, but during peak hours it definitely gets crowded and packed. A true sign of how loved this place is. The ambiance adds to the experience too. I especially love the Middle Eastern paintings on the walls. It gives the space a warm, cultural, and authentic feel. First off, the bread. All house made and incredibly fresh. You can taste the quality in every bite. From the dough to the toppings, everything feels intentional and authentic. The spinach pies... absolutely next level. Spinach packed generously and bursting with that bright, zesty lemon flavor, mixed with onions and olive oil. Perfectly balanced and so satisfying. Muhamara had a nice kick today. It had a medium spice level with just enough heat to keep things interesting (and honestly, I love that it varies a bit. It feels homemade every time). The cheese manaeesh is a WOW. The cheese blend they use is so good. I'm lactose sensitive and somehow never feel bloated after eating it which says a lot. And the safiha... You can literally taste the depth of the seven spices, with a hint of cinnamon that ties it all together beautifully. Everything is made to order. So yes be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes. But trust me, it's 100% worth it. Quality like this takes time. What really seals the deal is the people. The owners and staff are beyond welcoming. The kind of place where you instantly feel like family. I've become a regular, and every visit feels like coming home. Authentic, fresh, flavorful, and made with heart. Don't sleep on this spot.

Was craving some Turkish Pide which is a Turkish flatbread usually with meat, cheese and sauce and…read moresaw this place offered it so wanted to give it a try. I tried my first one in Seattle at a place called Miss Cafe and really enjoyed it. This restaurant is located in a large plaza so there was plenty of parking. Upon walking in it was pretty busy on a Sunday around 11:30am, we were seated immediately. As we were leaving, there were plenty of people waiting for a table. Food I was hoping to order a combination juju boat but the waitress taking our order mentioned the beef is out of stock so therefore we ordered the Juju chicken pide. The flatbread was cooked nicely, the dough was thin, every bite didn't feel too heavy. However the chicken was really dry and didn't feel like there was enough sauce/cheese, ended up putting some garlic sauce on top and it made it a little better. We also ordered the combination platter which came with lamb Kofte, beef/chicken kebab and two sides. We chose hummus and salad as the two sides and it paired well with the plate. The beef was a little dry but the Kofte and chicken were pretty good. They also served us two flatbreads which was nice for wrapping the meat and dipping in hummus. The hummus tasted very fresh and clean with delicate flavors, wish it had a little more tart. Side salad was simple and fresh with olive oil and lemon juice. The Kebbah was piping hot but didn't have much flavor, think it needed some sort of sauce. Overall, the ingredients tasted very fresh and minimalistic but definitely can do with a bit more seasoning or sauce for flavor. Service was friendly and not overly attentive. The servers didn't offer any water or drinks. Almost every table had tea so we flagged down someone to place an order after ordering our meal. There was a little mishap with our order but the owner came over to the table and cleared up the misunderstanding and asked us if we needed anything. Didn't seem like they had a lot of staff for such a busy morning. The space felt very clean and very lively with the lunch rush.

Cairo Restaurant & Cafe - Anaheim Rating: (5/5)…read more I ordered from Cairo Restaurant & Cafe through Uber Eats, and this ended up being one of the most meaningful food experiences I've had in a long time. For context, I come from Egyptian heritage. I'm first-generation American, and both of my parents grew up in Cairo. The dishes I ordered -- Hawashy as an appetizer and Makaroni Bechamel (Bashmil) casserole -- are foods I grew up with. The last time I had this exact meal cooked for me by my mother was several years ago, so placing this order felt like a gamble, especially with the restaurant being all the way in Anaheim while I live in Irvine. That gamble paid off immediately. From the very first bite, the food tasted unmistakably authentic. The hawashy was deeply seasoned, rich, and comforting -- exactly how it's supposed to be, not watered down or adjusted for convenience. The makaroni bechamel was the real emotional gut punch in the best way possible. Creamy, savory, perfectly spiced, and layered the way it's done back home. It tasted like something made with care, patience, and respect for the dish. I'm not exaggerating when I say this meal hit me hard. After one bite, I literally called the restaurant just to thank them. I asked to speak to the manager and told him what this meal meant to me -- how it tasted like something my own mother would make, how it brought back memories I didn't realize I'd been missing. That call wasn't planned. It was instinctive. Huge shout-out to Zayne, the manager, who was incredibly kind and generous on the phone. He even sent along kunafa for dessert, which was the perfect ending to the meal -- warm, sweet, and beautifully made. Beyond the food itself, the packaging deserves real praise. Everything arrived hot, which is not easy, especially for a casserole like makaroni bechamel. Once that dish cools too much, it loses something important. This didn't. It arrived as if it had just come out of the oven, which speaks volumes about the care taken in preparing orders for delivery. This is not a 5-star review because of nostalgia or heritage alone. It's a 5-star review because the food was genuinely outstanding -- rich, decadent, comforting, and made the right way. It is very hard for me to say that something compares to my mother's cooking, but this truly came close. I cannot wait to come in person in the next few weeks. Cairo Restaurant & Cafe didn't just serve food -- they delivered a memory.
