Took my wife to a different dentist which after the initial visit 80 dollars let her know that the hardware she had was outdated and that several more temporary teeth had hairline cracks and soon to fall out ,teeth weren't porcelain,estimate that was given to remove temps and replace with new permanent porcelain teeth with the newest hardware plus other facial cosmetic that clear choice didn't even address when they removed the original teeth. 13000 +. So don't look away run away or spend your hard earned money for their tv commercials and their uptown offices ,because you surely not paying for grade A teeth. Only good thing I can say about clear choice is the receptionist and assistants are very polite and professional. If I could have given a 0 star rating I would have.

The staff provided educational videos about the procedure and conducted an exam to plan the best approach. Dr. Mahmood kindly explained each step of the process to ensure I understood everything. I chose to proceed with local anesthesia and opted out of the Exparel injection at the end of the surgery. I scheduled my surgery for two weeks later and received thorough instructions beforehand. On the day of the procedure, it lasted about 30 minutes; one wisdom tooth was more complex and took a bit longer. The recovery was smooth, with no significant pain or swelling, thanks to careful adherence to the medication schedule. Five days post-surgery, I noticed only a small hematoma in a facial area. I am very grateful to Dr. Mahmood, the assistants, and the entire staff for their excellent care and support throughout this process.

The office is very COVID safe: not allowing guests in waiting rooms, monitoring temperatures, staff wearing face shields. For the procedure, I chose to go under and it was a very quick procedure (less than an hour). I only had to clamp down on the gauze for 1 hour afterwards and the bleeding disappeared. I didn't have any pain afterwards and didnt need any pain medication! I was back to eating solid food within 5 days. The office provides you with a specific syringe that you can spray into the holes left behind by the teeth to clean out any food debris stuck in the holes which was very helpful! The staff also call on you to check up and are very responsive to any questions. Dr. Mahmood is also very personable. Honestly, the most seamless experience ever, I couldn't rate any higher.

I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment, which was a little frustrating but I am glad I did. I have good teeth overall except for I'd like to get them cleaned every few months due to a bracket being in my mouth permanently from braces. The doctor ended up cleaning my teeth and I felt like she did a very thorough job. Got my regular dental exam and x-rays. Everything was a breeze. Will definitely be back. Good cleaning job!

In short: (i) we were overcharged for my husband's recent wisdom tooth removal, (ii) they failed to honor CIGNA's contracted rates for various items involved in the procedure, (iii) they failed to send in certain charges to CIGNA (I guess so there would be no CIGNA oversight), (iv) unbelievably, they were UNTRUTHFUL about the amounts they charged us. So silly because CIGNA's "Explanation of Benefits" showed what they told CIGNA that they charged us which wasn't the same amount as on their "Ledger" of our charges. It was a nightmarish stressful experience which has taken 2 months to sort out. After weeks of arguing, the Billing Lady begrudgingly agreed that we were due a refund and said she would mail us a check which then conveniently "got lost in the mail"! Next, the Billing Lady went on and on about their "Ledger of Charges" (line items of everything we'd been charged) but refused to email it to us despite us asking for it several times. Thus, I had to go to there in person today to get our "missing refund check" and have her lecture me some more about billing codes, why she wasn't wrong, etc... I cannot ever imagine going back to Contemporary Implantology for any reason. Beware.
