These are VERY VERY dishonest people. The sad thing is that they do very good work, but they are VERY VERY dishonest. So unless you know something about plumbing and can't fix the job yourself I wouldn't use them because they will take advantage of your ignorance and rip you off. I hate leaving reviews like this but when the people are so blatantly dishonest they leave me no choice. What happened is that the pressure valve in our pool that they replaced broke in less than a year after replacement. Instead of just replacing the valve they swindled me into believing that it was because my water pressure was too high and to prove it to me Charles Sr showed me how high my water pressure was by showing me the water meter from the city. But they showed me my neighbor's water meter. I pointed out that they were showing me our neighbor's valve and he assured me that they were not and that because both meters were on my neighbors property the meters were switched and what appeared to be mine was really my neighbors and vice versa. Again, trusting him I agreed to a water pressure regulator to be put on the main of the house so my water valves wouldn't continue to break. $1100 later the job was done. A year later the city came out because there was an issue with the smart meter and they showed me which meter was mine, cleared out the debris and growth that had filled the hole (turns out both father and son were just too lazy to clean out the hole so they lied through their teeth instead). Needless to say I was infuriated when I realized that Charles Sinacori and his son Charlie lied and lied and lied to me about an issue that didn't exist. Because believe me when I say that I questioned everything they were saying because it didn't make sense. Finally Charlie Jr had come up with something that made sense and so I agreed to the new water pressure regulator. However there was never anything wrong with my water pressure. They had just put in a faulty crappy valve that broke in less than a year and caused the pool pump to keep filling the pool unnecessarily registering with city that we had a leak. Charles Sr and Charles Jr are liars of the finest kind. They are so calm and confident, and look you straight in the eyes as they lie through their teeth. So turns out there was nothing wrong with my water pressure at all. They just swindled me out of $1100. Disgusting people. Oh and Charlie went out on his own so look for his name, Charlie Sinacori. I don't remember the name of his new company. And I gave them two stars because they do go work. But truly it should be one star because of the way they do business. read more

Sinacori Plumbing's Charilie, installed faucets on our bathroom sinks on 2/10/1022) and on 10/19/23. We provided the parts, both times. In 2022, although not cheap, they were good. In 2023, our experience was less satisfactory. Charlie installed the same Moen faucets that he had installed before on two other similar bathroom sinks, but in 2023 it took him about twice the time to install them. He quoted us $895 (a $120 more than in 2/22 for the same installation) when he started the job. When he completed the job he presented a bill for $1200, $300 more than the quoted price. Although the faucet installations were OK (2 sinks), their method of charging for the service (10/2023) was unprofessional. read more

Reliable!! Call them!! Today was a stressful day as I previously called another company which after waiting for 4 hours they never showed up. It was 5:40pm, I was stuck with a clogged toilette and a no show plumbing company and most of the companies were now closed. I was very fortunate to find "Sinacori plumbing" who answered my call and advised they would arrive in 30 minutes (which they did). I'm now so happy they were able to help me. 100% recommended!! read more

I just bought my first house and needed a plumber to help me with a few issues identified in the inspection. I was referred to Sinacori plumbing and have to say I was really impressed and so glad a good referral. The company is a family owned business and Chuck's son Charlie showed up on time and was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have to admit, this stuff is outside of my wheelhouse and it was really comforting to have someone so knowledgeable and confident. I had them fix my water main with copper pipes and add a pressure regulator and new hose bib as the original main, was put together with different types of metal which was causing corrosion. I also had them find a leak in the back yard hose bib which turned out to be put together with electrical PVC! Charlie did an outstanding job and was so friendly. When the job was done, my water main and new hose bib looked outstanding. For the first time ever, I was able to hook up a hose and not see it leak! Not even a drop! I have never had a hose in any home I have lived in where it didn't at least drip once. I have to say I was really impressed... but that's not why I decided to write the review. After the job was done, Charlie noticed I was struggling trying to get some new faucets installed. He took the extra time to come over and lend me a hand. In the hour he spent with me to replace my angle stops, I learned quite a bit. He empowered me with the knowledge I needed to get my repairs done and I have never seen that. I highly recommend this family owned company. They are a pleasure to deal with and importantly do the job right. They don't skimp on materials and truly do quality work. read more

Sinacori came to the rescue when my water-heater started to leak. I called on a Friday, talked to the owner Chuck who assessed my situation over the phone. I had water in the drywall so needed to act fast. He had his son Charles at my house the next morning with a replacement water heater competitively priced. Charles did the job to my complete satisfaction which required replacing some of the plywood and drywall that was wet. I am very satisfied with the work and the new Bradford White water heater. Thanks team Sinacori! read more

I had a concrete slab leak. I called this company. On the phone, I asked him to give me a call when he arrived at my house, since the house was a rental. However, he never gave me a call and didn't even give me a quote before proceeding with the job. I called him several times but he never picked up. At the end of the day he finally picked up and told me he fixed the leak. The price he charged me was over $2500.00. I was shocked and could not believe it. In addition, on the invoice he said he worked 8 hours. I checked with my tenants and they told me he was at the house less than that. I asked other plumbers and they said the job is no where near he was charging me. And so, I tried to reason with him, but he lost his temper and threatened to sue me if he was not paid. read more

I was initially completely satisfied with their work - until this past weekend when I was cleaning out my garage. In area of my garage ceiling where they re-routed my pipes (right below my bedroom), I found evidence that they COMPLETELY cut thru one of my structural floor joists. Who the heck does that - AND doesn't run it by the homeowner first? There is obviously a reason something like this isn't shared - it's not right, and it compromises the structural integrity of the house. To do the job right means more work. Had they covered their trail better, I probably would have been completely satisfied with their work (until the house came down exposing their short-cut. This is akin to the nightmare stories you see on the home improvement TV shows. I am so frustrated by this kind of shoddy work. UPDATE TO ADDRESS THE REBUTTAL BY THE BUSINESS OWNER: If I had a 1-inch hole cut into one of my joists, all I would have found was sawdust. Instead, I found a six to eight inch section of a laminated veneer lumber (LVL) joist. Completely cut through, top to bottom. It doesn't matter if six-inches or 6-feet was missing, the joist is completely compromised. Since you brought up the topic of "legality" in your rebuttal below, I think if the area in question should ever fail, I don't think a lawyer would have any difficulty connecting the dots as to how it happened, or who was responsible. And I'm sure a code inspector would find issue with this practice as well. Now, I'm left to wonder if this wasn't the only questionable "solution" conducted in the course of work performed at my home (which were covered-up better). Others should be asking these questions too... read more

Please get a quote before starting business with this company or they will rob you blind. The son was talking with my husband for a few hours about nothing of importance and because my husband is kind continued to speak with him while he was working. Turns out he couldn't fix any of our issues in 4 hours except for a simple job my dad could've done. He charged us $238 for basically searching for parts that we have already bought and tried at Home Depot ourselves. read more

Called Sinacori Plumbing to get a quote to replace a water heater. First I called a place claiming to be fast and inexpensive and yes the quote over the phone from the fast cheap place was less. But they sent someone to my house to do what they called "finalize" the quote and he tacked on hundreds of dollars in extras. So the fast cheap place was going to cost as much as the flat rate no extras quote Sinacori gave me. Two guys showed up in the morning and we had hot water by noon. And the price he quoted was the price I paid. Do yourself a favor and go with a reputable plumber like Sinacori. I am sure glad I did. read more

Escrow inspection required installation of a drain pan under an existing hot water heater and routing a T/P valve drain pipe to the building exterior. Thought about doing it myself but decided to call Chuck at Sinacori based on a friends positive recommendation. Really glad I did. Chuck and Charlie showed up the next day. (BTW, this water heater is essentially in a raised closet in the garage, with about 6 inches of clearance at the top.) They detached the water heater, replaced all the fittings, re routed the existing drain pipe instead of having to install a new one (which would have required a lot of extra time and labor) and also piped out the drain pan. Excellent work, very friendly and professional. Would definitely recommended them for any of your plumbing requirements! Thanks guys! read more

I came home in the evening to find my water heater leaking all over the garage floor. Being 8pm I started to make calls to local plumbers to find help. Chuck answered the phone right away and gave me an immediate estimate. I called around to get other quotes and either found that they were higher or that no one would call me back. Rick from Sinacori showed up first thing in the morning, on time, and installed a new water heater. It was a tough job since the unit was wedged into a thin space in my garage. It took over 5 hours but they stuck to their original estimate. Also, there were a couple different models of heater that they could have supplied in the size that I needed. They gave me the higher-end of the two which made me very happy. It is never pleasant when things go wrong with your plumbing but it is good to know that there are trustworthy people there ready to help. I will definitely use them again! read more

We discovered a "slab leak" in our living room's entry way - under the wood flooring. Fortunately, it didn't surface any water, but we noticed that part of the flooring was very warm, whereas just a few feet away, it was much cooler. We called Sinacori plumbing, and Chuck and his Son, Charlie, were able to completely reroute the pipework and avoid having to jackhammer the concrete. They carefully covered the furniture with plastic to avoid accumulating dust, and their work was meticulous! We now no longer have to worry about leaking copper pipes in the concrete. Although they did have to cut a few holes in the drywall, they were very careful to minimize damage and avoid cutting into wallpapered walls. We heartily recommend Sinacori Plumbing. read more

WARNING!!!!!! If you are going to do business with this company insist on a ESTIMATE!!! I have used Sinacori several times in the past. Because I had done business with them many times, I did not insist on an estimate. (Always did in the past.) I called them out to repair a gas leak on my dryer. After about 10 mins he found the leak on a old shut off valve. The repair took about 20 mins. I was charge for two hours of time!! Like a prior reviewer said, you will be charged for them chatting with you and playing with your pet! Don't try to be nice, you will be charged for listening. Was charged $338 for a 40 min. repair!!! The owner only took $38 off after I explained it was impossible they started the job at 3:00 when I was picking my son up from school (I got home at 3:15). He even wanted to argue about the time my son gets off of school! read more

This is one amazing company! My problem was a leak in my garbage disposal. I called Sinacori Plumbing and set up an appointment for the next day. I'm a hairstylist at p!ay hair lounge in Simi Valley & we were in the WEEDS big time when our shampoo sinks stopped draining on a super busy SAT morning. He had our MAJOR problem solved in less than an hour & we were back making our friends look beautiful &/or handsome! Thank you Sinacori! We highly recommend you to EVERYONE!! read more

The owner's 21-year-old son was very rude, dishonest and disrespectful- for example, he was in and out of my house with his muddy shoes with no apologies. The son charged me for supplies I provided and when confronted, he lied about it. The owner corrected the overcharge, but ignored my request for a breakdown of the extra charge of $193 for materials. I checked the California State License Board on 9/21/12 and it showed Sinacori Plumbing is is NOT insured and bonded as reflected on their business card and invoice. The company's Contractor's Bond expired on 8/19/2010 and his Worker's Compensation Insurance cancelled on 1/2/2011. My mistake is that I failed to do my homework before hiring this company. I will never use this company again. read more

I own a salon in town and after having a different plumber come out and rip me off my shampoo bowls were STILL not draining! I called Sinacori and they SAVED THE DAY!!! I have used Sinacori Plumbing ever since I purchased my home in '09. I have delt with plumbers, electricians and contractors for years. Never with much satisfaction. I needed a water pressure regulator installed. I went with Sinacori because they were close to me and the 2 ratings they had were great. Spoke over the phone and sounded very Knowledgeable and friendly. Was not home when he did the work. But when I got home and saw the work done. I was very happy to see it was done professionally. It works great. And the price was better that 3 other quotes I got for the job. I called Sinacori today to ask for an estimate on some plumbing work. The plumber who called back said that it would be $125 just for an estimate. He also said it would be credited toward any work. Why would anyone pay just for a quote? It is always best practice for home repair or improvement to get at least 3 quotes and DON'T pay anything until a quote is approved by you! What if this company quoted $2000 for $700 worth of work, is it worth losing $125 just to find out that they are price gouging? read more

I gave Sinacori a review back in 2012 and now, following a significant issue in our plumbing that required them to dig up our front lawn and replace pipes, I will never use a different plumbing company. Work was done in a timely manner and costs were reasonable. I've also had to use them for my Dad, who owns a mobile home nearby and they were very prompt and reliable for him, as well. Charlie, in particular, is really friendly, helpful and knows his stuff. .. He is also great around kids. Tuesday 2:30 PM water main is spraying water out of a fitting adapter. Frantic, I called Chuck at Sinacori Plumbing who I had yelped an hour before. Thankfully he cleared his schedule quickly to come look at the issue. I live out of area, so Chuck was great at responding to my texts so I could stay updated. Within 2 hours Chuck had assessed the issue, sent a team for overtime to fix it and handle a last minute add on request to fix the water heater fittings while the team was there (you could smell gas). If you want professional, timely service call Chuck. read more

Sinacori Plumbing was recommended to us by a plumber we trust and have used for years, but unfortunately who was also out of town when we had a water-heater emergency. After double-checking Sinacori's Yelp reviews, we called them to come and replace said water heater, which had randomly "exploded" and gushed water all over our garage. The water heater was still under warranty, so we expected labor costs to be comparable to those we had when we had replaced our previous 2 under-warrantied water heaters ($700 give or take). However, Sinacori's bill came to $1700 plus. In addition to passing along a $167 upgrade fee for a newer version of the water heater they'd exchanged ours for (which they didn't inform me of or ask my approval for), Sinacori charged $1400 for labor alone. They "accounted" for this labor charge by explaining they'd driven 3 hours at $140/hr to exchange the heater (again, without my approval) instead of asking me to investigate more local options, or even go pick up the water heater myself. Where does the other almost $1K of labor charges come from? Your guess is as good as mine. After our trusted plumber returned to town, he informed me this job should have cost $500ish total for labor. In the end, after disputing my bill with Sinacori, they reduced the $1400 labor charges to $1K, but I still feel completely bamboozled. Make sure you get estimates prior to letting Sinacori touch anything in your house. read more

I don't normally write reviews on companies but felt I should on Sinacori Plumbing. A couple of nights ago I went into my lower bathroom and found quite a bit of water on the carpet next to the wall and toilet. I explored and thought I heard dripping in my wall. I called Sinacori Plumbing at 9:00 at night and hoped I would get a call back from them soon. 5 minutes after I called, Chuck called me back and promised to be out at 9:00-9:30am the next morning. They showed up on time and went to work. He and his son Charlie took a section of wall out to explore where I had heard dripping. Long story short....Chuck found nothing in the wall but found a bad toilet. I had them replace the toilet and then they repaired the wall. They not only did awesome on the toilet but went beyond the call of duty to repair my drywall. These guys have awesome attitudes and get the job done. By the way....this was the THIRD time I have used them. Had them replace two toilets upstairs (awesome job and lots of work), and replace my water heater (it started leaking and needed it done fast). When they came out for the water heater they not only replaced the heater but upgraded the whole system to meet city and county codes. On 11-25-13, I called Sinacori Plumbing and asked if they would mind coming to my house to correct another plumbers shoddy work. Chuck came over within the hour and concurred with me that the other plumber did not do a good job. He gave me a fair estimate and advised me that a journeyman and an apprentice plumber would be at my house at 9:00 am the next morning. At 9:10 am, Troy and Charlie were at my house. They asked to see the problem and began working. The job involved cutting through the ceiling and the closet wall. They hooked up the tub assembly drain and overflow and re-piped the valve assembly. They cleaned as they worked. Troy even grabbed a mop and cleaned up some footprints they made on the floor. They put all the debris in the trash can and left the bathroom clean. Troy advised me that he was done and wanted me to see that there were no leaks. He filled the tub with water and emptied it (no leaks). The valve assembly was plumb and straight and centered with the tub drain. Excellent work! Chuck had estimated 3 hours of work but, it actually took 4 1/2 hours to do the job right. He charged me what he had quoted me. I would highly recommend Sinacori Plumbing with your plumbing needs. read more
