We have installed two new Kohler toilets on 02Oct. in last few days one of the toilet in master bedroom I continually hear a high pitch sound when filling up the tank. after removed the top cover and flashing the toilet, noticed time after time water started to dripping down on the float cup that may be the function of anti-siphon design, but high pitch noise is a indication of a defective fill valve. my wife said I'm so paranoid!(what she know about appliances)! contacted Beck's Plumbing in the morning same extremely nice lady respond. arrangements for replacement set up in the early afternoon the same day. that is super follow up service. Mr.James Beck owner of the company's show up on time as scheduled with two fill valve replacements. which we only need one. surely its a defective fill valve. James had it replaced within few minutes taken the time explaining what may be the issue even is new equipment. inaddition James answered few other "Concern" that I have regarding water noises in the house as free Consultation. ladies and gentlemen I truthfully appreciated such good Integrity and service. read more

These plumbers took 2 weeks to complete a main sewer line repair and during the entire repair, they were blasting loud music over their blutooth speaker the entire morning and afternoon! It was the worst experience and would not recommend them. Not only did they take a long time to complete the work, but they were inconsiderate with their music and noise levels. read more

Very friendly and professional all the way....upfront and honest. Excellent work at a reasonable price. I'm a happy customer.

Beck's Plumbing just finished a decent size job this week on my house. Needing to get a portion of it rerouted, there was piping, concrete work, stucco needing to be worked on. Overall the guys worked efficiently, cleaned up and were courteous. Will likely need to do more work in the future and happy to have Beck's contact info. Would recommend. read more

Jim was great. He responded very quickly to give us an estimate for a sewer line repair. He did everything by the book. He told us it would take a couple of weeks because dig alert needed to come out before they started digging. They ran into some extra work when digging to where the pipes connect. After repair was done they had to wait on the city to inspect the work. We would recommend him in the future read more

Becks is the best! Amazing service and reasonable prices. Our family has been using Becks since we moved to Moorpark 8 years ago. They continue to exceed our expectations and respond promptly to every request. They are just the best plumbers I have ever worked with. Can't recommend them highly enough. They are wonderful!! read more

It's so great to have a local business that you trust to do a good job at a reasonable rate. They've replaced a cracked sink for us, carefully saving the granite top that an overly zealous installer had overcaulked. They done smaller jobs, clearing clogs, checking water pressure, fixing showers, and just installed a new toilet. Always polite, friendly, professional, with clear explanations of what will be required, time frame, costs, etc.. Would definitely recommend. read more

Jim, holy cow where do I begin? A total gentleman and awesome plumber that truly knows his stuff. He has rescued us twice now. Always professional and quick to show up, even Christmas Eve on his way to church! And great contractors know other great contractors, with his referral for his leak detection guy to his drywall guy. With a big thank you Jim for helping to keep our home happy and dry where it should be! read more

Outstanding. My experience with Jim Beck and his associate, Cuoco (I have no idea how to spell his name), was excellent. They were able to work me in quickly, then showed up right on time. They were friendly and proficient in their work. They were considerate of my home and explained what they were doing. They even offered preventative maintenance tips to keep my drains clean. Very honest and well-priced for the level of experience they offered. Would definitely use again!!! A++++ read more

Can't say enough about this family owned business. We had an emergency pipe leaking situation and they arrived within a timeframe convenient for us. The leak was diagnosed and fixed within an hour. Later in the day another leak situation appeared and the owner, Jim, came to fix it. I highly recommend this company and we should all support local businesses if possible. read more

If I could give more 's I would. Beck's is honestly the best! I called at 8:30 a.m & the sweet lady said someone would be at my house between 10-12, Jeremy got there right at 10 & was so nice, outgoing, honest, didn't make me feel like a dumb woman (like other plumbing places have) he worked fast & fixed the problem for only $95. They are my go to place now!! Thank you so much read more

I highly recommend Jim to anyone who is looking for an honest and thorough plumber. We first used him to straighten and center a drain and two water pipes so we could install a wall mounted sink in our bathroom. That turned out great so we called him back to install our whole house filter and softener. He and his assistant are very professional and honest. I highly highly recommend. read more

This is my second positive review for these guys. Last time in 2016 when they installed a hot water heater, this time was for a master bathroom job. Jim, the owner, came by to estimate on a Friday with competitive pricing. Squeezed me in the following Wednesday and knocked out a days work in 4 hours! They wore mask the whole time, even though I said he didn't need to, and swept the floor before they left. I will use these guys again! read more

They are my first go-to plumber for the last few years. The lady who answers the phone is not just knowledgeable but very kind. She has always promptly returned my calls. I live in Camarillo. Elijah is the one who covers this area and has come to our house a few times over the years now. He was always on time, pleasant, efficient and clean. I liked that they were always upfront with the costs and I felt their charges were fair. They don't take advantage of people who are in dire situations. Elijah has fixed things (e.g. kitchen garbage disposal, bathroom faucet, water heater pipe) that I thought had to be replaced. I've come to trust his assessment and solutions. And his works were excellent. So glad to have this honest family business in our local area! read more

I have used many plumbers over the years ( and in the last year!) and finally found Beck's plumbing. Everyone is polite and very professional. They are very good, very competent and get the job done right at a fair price. They treat you like a person, not an invoice number. I have used Beck's three times now in the last few months and I am always happy with the work. It is hard to find someone good, who you can trust. Beck's plumbing is both. read more

The best! Jim and his crew are amazing! I had a challenging slab leak, and Jim and his crew were strategic and creative in their approach to repair the leak and reroute the pipes. Jim was in communication with my leak detector and with my insurance appraiser, and he made a stressful situation manageable. We are beyond grateful and I highly recommend Beck's Plumbing. read more

Jim Beck is a great guy!! He works with my work schedule and comes by at lunch if something needs a repair. Our landlord is a cheap old witch, but he manages to convince her that things need to be repaired or replaced if the product is old. Thanks Jim for all of your hard work and for working with our crazy landlord. My husband got to spend a whole day with Jim and his assistant and they worked on many areas of our home, everything is working great for now.... HE IS AWESOME, you will not regret it! read more

Jim and his team has been keeping our house running for years. Excellent work. Never had to have him come back to fix the same problem. Highly recommend!! read more

Jim and crew were able to assist us multiple times with various home updates and repairs. We had a tricky drain problem that, had we gone elsewhere, could have involved a lengthy (and expensive) bathroom remodel to solve. However we were lucky to have Jim who took the extra time and care to complete the repairs in an efficient manner that was able to save our tub and tile from a potentially disastrous situation! Thank you Jim and team for being so helpful and reliable and truly having pride in your work. read more

We had new counters and a new sink installed and I needed a plumber to get it all hooked up. I called Jim, on a referral from my neighbor, and he was out the very next day. Hooked it all up and was very fair on pricing. I have used other plumbers before, but wont call anyone else but Beck's. Simple and fair.... you can't get any better. read more

Beck's plumbing is great!! They are trustworthy and do good work!! Jim has been out to my house 3 times in the past 3 years. He installed a gas line for me when I first bought my home and has been out to fix two leaks. He's responsive and has always been able to come out right away. The pricing is fair and won't break your bank. read more

Jim and his crew really saved the day at our house. After learning we had a slab leak(s) we contacted Jim to discuss rerouting our water lines. Jim was helpful and informative and made us feel confident in his knowledge and skills to get the job done right. We have worked with many plumbers over the years and NEVER have we seen someone clean up in the manner he did. We are SO impressed, and grateful. We have found our plumber!!! No one likes to deal with plumbing issues...but we are THRILLED to have found Beck's Plumbing in this process. Thanks Jim!! read more

tried to update my previous review in regards to being without a kitchen sink for a month. I want to correct as it was brought to my attention that the $125 I was charged at the final visit was not for the work to get the installed faucet working again but rather to clear my guest bathroom sink clog; which took about 10 seconds. My mistake for misunderstanding the charges as normally I have not been charged $125 for a drain clear. Some that have been much harder. I called one plumber for an emergency clear on a weekend during a party for an upstairs sink. He charged $95 i really need to find his number again! so I wasn't in fact charged twice. I was just charged $125 for 10 seconds & waited a month to get water in the kitchen. I did call several times left two messages and spoke to them twice. With two visits out regarding the issue. Again I was out my kitchen sink for a MONTH which caused a huge inconvenience for me. In addition... The piece that broke was the water flow piece. so I will be needing to replace the faucet anyways to ensure I don't waste water. so just an update and a correction of my previous review. Because i did get a call from the company Pointing out MY error. So helps to clarify it. A Month. No kitchen sink . no follow up until I got upset! let's see them be without a sink for a month and have a house full of children to take care of. NOT EASY. So thank you for the compassion and understanding in my situation- the faucet was installed within 6 months. I was told the piece was broken to begin with. And I was told the hard water caused it to break... two different stories by same place. I believe the piece came broken or was broken during installation. Hard to believe my water which isn't bad here would deteriorate a piece of the faucet mechanism in such a short period of time causing it to break. read more

Had a plumbing issue a few days ago and as all good Yelpers do, I opened my Yelp app to find a five-star plumber. I called Beck plumbing and spoke with a nice lady and gave her my information and the issue I was experiencing. I believed I had a leak in a pipe from my upstairs master and it was slowly leaking down the wall and discoloring my baseboard in my living room. Jim and Jeremy came to my house the following day after my initial call and confirmed it was a cracked pipe. Jim is the owner of Beck's plumbing and he is a really nice man. I can see why these guys have all 5 star ratings. Jeremy completed the job quickly and kept me informed of all he was doing. Once the job was completed, he ensured the worksite was clean before departing. Overall, this was a great experience and I am thankful to Beck's for coming out quickly and taking care of my problem and doing great work at a good price. I found my go-to plumbers for all future work! read more

Called Beck's this morning and a very friendly lady said the fellows could be there between 2-4 today. Wow! Same day service. Jim and Jeremy arrived around 2:40 and within 45 minutes they had repaired our rusted leaking hose bib! Very friendly and very efficient workers. Cut the rusted pipe and then capped it off. I have never used the bib. I certainly would recommend these guys!!! Best service ever. read more

Great plumbing company....called in the morning and Jim came out to my parent's home within two hours! Fixed the leak in the shower and even gave my parents a discount! Thank you for calling back, showing up and doing the job at the price that you quoted over the phone. No hidden fees...no doom and gloom tactics! Positively refreshing...We will surely be calling Beck's plumbing in the future. read more

Awesome people! Jim has been out to our house once before but this time we needed a huge job done (3 days). He and his crew did a great job for a good price. Cleaned up so nicely after, it looked better than before. (hate to admit, ha ha) We have tried a few of the 'big name plumbers" before we found Jim, but were not impressed by any of them, including the so called "smell good plumbers": so overpriced and nothing special - he didn't even smell good) Beck's plumbing is our go-to-plumber - highly recommend them! read more

Thank you Beck's Plumbing!! Garbage disposal, kitchen sink and downstairs bathroom sink backed up with Sunday's salad. Ughhh! My kid told me not to put salad in the garbage disposal....."It's a garbage disposal." I yelped back. Go figure. I checked Yelp for help and saw the outstanding reviews for Beck's Plumbing. I called them this morning around 8:20am and was advised they would be in my area and could be here within next 80 minutes. YES!!! Becks arrived promptly! Ultimately, they used their industrial snake to unclog the drains. I was amazed at all the twists and turns there are in pipes. In any case, they were done within an hour and problem solved! THANK YOU!!! For me, it was well worth the $95 service fee. Beck's Plumbing was fast, courteous, professional, helpful and reasonable. Highly recommended. Moral of the story.....don't put lots of left over salad in garbage disposal. And call Beck's Plumbing if you do..... read more

I have to say this is the nicest plumbing company I have ever came across from the woman who answered the phone, she was so helpful and made me feel comfortable that I wasn't going to be tricked into an upsale (which everyother local company's first line of conversation was) she calmed my panic and told me it would be and easy fix. I got schedule for the technician to come out the following day, James showed up on time and was very friendly and nice and knowledgeable about what the issue may be. He fixed it within 15 minutes. I will recommend this company to everyone I know as well as only use them in the future! Thank you so much for your help! You saved this mama from having to go the laundry mat! read more

Got a new water heater today. Clarissa fielded my call with class, Jim did a first rate job, and his two boys, ?Jason and Jeremy? are great helpers too. Jim is kind and friendly, knows what he's doing and blasted through the job quickly and expediently. He told and showed me everything I needed to know about the new device, even making sure to register for the warranty online. He could tell that I like things done nicely, and worked the same way. He cleaned up all the areas he worked in very well and was an absolute pleasure the whole time. Made me feel really comfortable about working with him on any project. I hate to have to call a plumber, but when I do, Beck's is my go-to guy. Thanks for a superior job - and still a lower price than the rest! read more

Seriously the best experience I have ever had with a plumber. I called at 8:15, really nice and knowledgeable woman on the phone. Jim and Elijah arrived by 9:30 on a busy Monday. First they looked at my leaking water heater; background, I had already had an $1850 bid and a $2000 bid to replace the unit. Their bid: $1500. But that's not the best part. They started looking the unit over and then said - how about we fix this leaking hot line and see if that corrects the problem before we go replacing the whole thing. $150 for the service call and the line replacement (new high quality stainless steel line that won't corrode) and we are back in business! Probably saved (or at least delayed for a few years) spending the replacement money, and anyway I definitely saved $350 if and when the replacement is needed. I'm gonna go take a hot shower now! read more
