Dan, Jon, and Brandon replaced our ancient furnace and air conditioner with a new 4-ton Trane XV80 furnace and XR14 air conditioning unit. The entire process from quote through a few final touches was smooth and trouble free. Everything was done as promised and the new system works great! SIMS was a referral through a neighbor down the street who had work done on their house and was very happy with both their work and customer service. I wholeheartedly agree with their Yelp rating. I was very pleased and impressed. This year (2017) Dan and Jon replaced the other HVAC unit on our home (from 1973) with a similar Trane system. I am so glad we were able to have it done before this summer of hot weather. The system is great! They also helped us resolve a "dirty sock" smell coil issue on a rental home this year. Highly recommend SIMS as they are our "go to" company for HVAC work. read more

I actually just called to ask some questions about what the gas company put on a red tag for my heater and although they didn't service my area they gentleman who answered was extremely helpful and gave me tips on how to handle my situation. Great customer service! read more

SIMS Heating & Air are amazing! My friend referred me to them and I am grateful he did. They came out on a Friday to give me a bid on a whole new unit that was over 30 years old and by the following Friday everything was installed and running (About 3 weeks ago). They quoted me Saturday, but they finished Friday and I believe they did it out of the kindness of their hearts because we didn't have heat and we have 2 little kids. These guys were professional, well mannered, timely, efficient, honest and very knowledgeable. We will definitely be using them in the future and will refer them to everyone who needs service with heating and air. Thank you SIMS! read more

I have enjoyed doing business with all of the guys in SIMS. They have been friendly, punctual and knowledgable. They accurately told me how long the job was going to take, and so it was. Everything has worked well and I am happy with the system that I bought. Would have no problem recommending their products and customer service. read more

Dan and his team did a phenomenal job. Busy as they are, they were still able to accommodate me. They installed a brand new hvac unit, got it up and running in no time! Everything works perfectly, job well done to Dan and his team! I can't say enough about these guys. Thank you so much! read more

Thank goodness for these guys so I don't have to crawl up in the attic on 100plus days. They came out to our house for our annual A/C inspection/tune-up. Everything was good and looked fine. Some time after that our condenser line backed up and was leaking water into my daughters room. I called and Dan came out and figured out the problem right away and got it fixed. At that point I figured we were done. But Dan went into my daughters room and saw that the carpet had gotten all wet. So Dan told me that we need to get the carpet dried out immediately or it would cause mold. So he got out his cell phone and immediately called his carpet cleaner connections and within hours we had a carpet cleaning guy at our house with his big fans to dry out my daughters carpet. Long story short Dan's expertise saved us from having to do mold remediation and replace the carpet in my daughters room, as well as fixed our A/C. Thanks Dan!!! read more

I will always use Sims. They are helpful and professional. I have had them replace an older A/C unit, replace old thermostat, repair furnace, and another A/C. Great people. read more

SIMS Heating and Air provides exemplary service at very reasonable prices. I had an HVAC issue for a number of years that a competitor could not figure out. There was a small leak and the other company said it was impossible to find. The quick fix was to come back and recharge the system every so often, billing me for every visit. SIMS found the issue immediately and permanently fixed the problem. Their customer service and attention to detail is second to none! I really can't say enough food things about this company and would be very quick to recommend them to family and friends. If I was installing a new system, this is the company I would trust and commit to! read more

After 20 years, our HVAC started having issues. We were told that there was a leak in our outdated system and given the age, we figured it was best to replace it. We called several companies for quotes and decided that SIMS was the way to go. They were prompt, did not try to sell us on things we didn't need, and their price was fair. They set up the installation within a few days and arrived on time and ready to go. They were friendly, wore masks, covered the floor to prevent it from getting dirty, and got right to work. They finished the job the same day and did it without disturbing my wife who was working from home. Everything worked perfectly though we preferred more air flow in a different room so we called them to see if they could adjust the dampers. They responded right away and set up an appointment for the same week. All and all, it was a great experience. Thank you! read more

I have to say this is one of the best experiences we've had with a home service company! Dan and company are prompt, honest and friendly. He gave us a quote for a new air/heating unit, unfortunately, at the time, we just didn't have the money. A few months later when had saved the money, he honored the initial quote and came out and got the job done. When I had a question a few months later, when it was time to turn off the air and turn on the heat, he responded quickly and even made a quick house call. I will absolutely recommend him to friends and family! read more

Mr. Sims & Co. modernized our homes entire heating and cooling system, because of Mr. Sims, we are now ready for the next Ice Age or Heat wave. Thanks a` million! read more

Excellent company! It was easy to schedule a consult, easy to read their estimate, and easy to schedule repair/replacement work! Sims was one of 3 estimates that I got for a furnace (and coil) replacement. They are honest and didn't try to up-sell or over charge! Very very happy with Sims! Thank you!!!! read more

I highly recommend Sims to anyone in the area in need of high quality heating or Air Conditioning needs. They have been servicing our home heating and AC for years and recently replaced our entire AC unit; it's running quietly and efficiently, and our electricity bill has gone down! Besides being very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, they're honest. I'll take that combination over low price any day. read more

Our 5-year-old system installed by someone else started having problems a few months ago. We had several companies come out, and they mostly trash-talked the installation and offered to fix the system while highly suggesting replacing everything. When Dan from SIMS came out, his approach was completely different. He focused more on addressing the specific problems, such as lack of air flow, possible refrigerant leaks, undersized plenum, inadequate duct work, absent dampeners. He didn't trash the previous installers, but instead explained and showed us why we were having the problems we were having. Even with an assurance that our current system could be salvaged, we decided to install a new system, the selection of which was painless with detailed quotes and explanations for multiple options. John was at our house for 3 days. He put so much thought into everything he did that by the time the job was done, the list of things I wrote that I thought I would have to address, such as scuffs, dirty walls, and other minor things, had all been taken care of completely without any input. It was very clear that John was truly an expert at what he does. While relocating our outside unit pad to a new location, John was able to crawl through a tiny opening above a room addition to avoid putting holes in any of our walls. It's been a month now, and with a few hot days under its belt, I can confidently say our new system is amazing. Even on a near 100-degree day, the house remained a constant 70 degrees (easily), something that our old system would have struggled with. There is so much more I can say. I could talk about how Dan truly understood our complaints about the noise level of our old system, and how he added a bunch of sound-dampening material free of charge to make sure we were happy. I could talk about how much we love our new digital thermostat (that we can control with our phones), and the fact that the furnace and outside unit both utilize variable-speed fans to operate much more efficiently. I could talk about how the two rooms that used to get next to no air because our previous installer said larger ducts wouldn't fit are now the same temperature as the rest of the house. Best of all, even though it's only been a month, it appears as if our electric bill will be 50% lower than before! And, if anything goes wrong Dan offers 10 years warranty on both parts and labor. We couldn't be happier. Dan, and John - thank you so much! read more

SIMS Heating & Air is amazing! When I called they were very helpful giving me some possible reasons and pricing for my situation. While no one can obviously guarantee what will happen until they inspect the situation, I was appreciative that they took the time to discuss options and pricing. Their technician John is top notch!! He arrived on time, and was very kind and courteous. He spent time explaining what he was doing, what my issue was, and was very transparent about pricing. John really showed ownership of his job and you can tell he takes great pride in what he does. SIMS has earned a long term customer because they were honest, and did not try to make a fast buck by taking advantage of me during this hot season. I will be recommending my friends and family here! read more

SIMS came out to check my AC which was not turning on at all...I've called others in the past and they've given me the "You need new AC, you need new furnace, etc..." SIMS was great, they are honest and got my AC system running for a fair price. I would definitely call them again. read more

I called Dan about a year ago as I needed service done at multiple rental properties I manage. Dan was friendly, quick and honest! Once he completed a couple jobs for me I knew I had found a great HVAC company. He has now serviced multiple properties for us and has personally done repairs to my home and my mom's home. He is the best. He is reasonable when it comes to repairs as well as replacement of systems. In addition to great customer service, he runs his business with the utmost honesty and integrity. You cannot go wrong with Sims! I love working with family owned and operated businesses such as ours. Keep up the great work Sims! read more

Very professional service! I called several businesses to get estimates. I not only got a great deal, but Jon responded very quickly. I was even lucky enough to get him out the same day due another job getting done faster than expected. Jon was very friendly and unlike some companies I've dealt with, didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. He was also honest in his work. In the end he actually came I under the original estimate I had agreed upon. It's nice to see a company care so much about their customers! read more

Dan has serviced my HVAC in a very timely and efficient matter. Very thorough and explains what he's doing. Made some suggestions to keep my AC unit running well and how I could improve my cooling. Looking for a good honest company - call Dan! read more

Wow. So thankful I called this company. They are wonderful. I called them on Tuesday to fix my HVAC unit as the heating unit wasn't working. They ordered the parts which came in on Thursday, and by Thursday evening my house was nice and toasty. SIMS is professional, great pricing, speedy, quality work, and just a great experience overall. I can't believe how quick they were able to come out and work on our unit. They kept me posted with pricing, called me right away and showed up when they told me they would. Thank you so much!!!! read more

Great! Called them for a blocked condensation line in the middle of a heat wave. Many other companies were booked for weeks but Sims got me scheduled for just a few days away. Came out, fixed a defect in the line and checked the levels in the condenser. Very professional and courteous. Price was good. read more

Dan, Jon and Bob - the team gets 5 stars ! Excellent and professional. I highly, highly recommend this company. We took time researching and finding the right system for our home along with the company we could rely and trust. We are so happy we found SIMS. read more

I bought their $95 for $125 promo and really regret using their service. I should have checked and call around for a quote request but due to the high ratings, I thought they should be good. They charge me $95 diagnostic which they refuse to credit back even though I was using their service to repair the A/C. Other companies actually credit the diagnostic charge toward the repair but not with this company. I feel they lied and ripped me off and I paid close to $500 for a refill of freon and change of filter. Total rip off. Stay away from this company and don't buy their yelp offer otherwise you will regret it! You should feel ashamed of doing dirty business. read more

I've had both Dan and John individually work on my HVAC system on three separate occasions. They both were very honest, professional and polite. Two of the times there wasn't anything mechanically wrong with the system just a disconnected wire and the other a dead bug that prevented a good connection ( i saw the bug. true story lol). A bad company could have been dishonest and charged me for something I didn't need but not SIMS they were honest. They were also really good about working around my work schedule with out the big general time frames that other companies sometimes give. Good guys, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good company. read more

Dan and his son really good on performing their job and his crew..Replaced our old broken furnace/AC and installed our brand new furnace/AC couple months ago. They really do good job on their job and very professional and explain every detail what they are doing and installing and they clean up really good after their job done. Outstanding job guys and thank you. read more

From the start of the project, SIMS was up front with the costing and provided a few options as well. After considering everything, we decided to replace our dated HVAC system instead of just replacing the compressor that had just grounded itself. They replaced the condenser/ coil and furnace in a few hours and the price was very reasonable too. Thanks again to John, Bob, Dan, and Freddy for getting this job done quickly and efficiently. read more

I needed an upgrade on my entire HVAC system being about 35 years old. I like to try to keep things local so I obtained 4 estimates, all from local business. Throughout the process I found Dan was by far the most responsive, courteous, understanding and helpful. I must have contacted him by e-mail, text or phone about a dozen times before making my decision and I couldn't be happier that I chose Dan and John. It's obvious that they take customer service very seriously. Awesome workmanship, excellent customer service and very competitive prices. I will be recommending Dan and John to anyone I know. read more

Awesome service replaced air filter and full diagnostic no pressure to sell will call again for full replacement

Another reason that I absolutely LOVE Yelp!!!! My old upstairs A/C unit went out and I was having issues with my basement unit. I didn't know who to call and being a girl, I'm aware that I don't know the mechanics of many things so I really need to feel like I can trust the people working on my house and that they won't take advantage. An A/C unit a big purchase. So.... I did what I always do now when I need almost everything. I went on Yelp and contacted 4 of the 5 star A/C companies that had more than 30 reviews. After going over my choices I chose Dan with SIMS. He arrived for the estimate punctually. He sent the estimate that night and responded to every question I had. His price was the middle of the 3 bids, which were all pretty close in price. They were so easy to work with. It was Dan, his son John and 1 employee Isaiah. They were so polite and they went above and beyond to make me happy. Easy to work with and very fair. Thank you Yelp for giving all of us a voice and a community to find those who offer great service. I AM SOOOO HAPPY!! They just left and my house is finally cool again. Thank you so much Dan, John and, Isaiah!! You deserved the 5 stars. read more

After receiving 6 different quotes from 6 different companies I decided to go with SIMS Heating & Air. After speaking with Dan on the phone we set up an appointment for him to come out to my home and go over some options. Dan was extremely thorough on how all the different Trane systems worked. Not only was he very helpful, but it also helped me in deciding to go with SIMS for their knowledge and the fact that they back up their work with a 10 year labor warranty. Having a 10 year parts warranty through Trane and a 10 year labor warranty through SIMS is a great piece of mind. It also helped that we were able to get financed through Wells Fargo for a Home Projects Visa. 0% Financing for 56 months was a no brainer. SIMS was the only contractor who came out to our home that mentioned the financing with Wells Fargo. If any of you are looking to have a new system installed anytime soon I strongly suggest that you contact SIIMS. Also, I believe that the special 0% financing through Wells Fargo for a Trane system ends at the end of this month. The installation was also seamless. I had my furnace relocated from the hallway up into my attic and I couldn't be happier with the workmanship from John and Isaiah. I am truly a happy costumer. read more

During a heat wave my AC unit started leaking water onto my ceiling. Now began the dreaded job of finding a good technician. I was very nervous and I read alot of yelp reviews. I contacted 3 companies, after speaking to all 3 I chose Sims. Dan came to my house to look at the unit and gave me 3 options and a break down of cost for each option. He is a very kind and honest man, he exudes positivity amd happiness. Bobby( i hope I have the correct name) came to work on my unit and he did an excellent job on repairs, went above and beyond. He made sure my AC was working fine and double checked everything, no rushing at all. I am very happy with their work. I hope I don't need any hvac repairs in the future, but if I do, I will go with Sims read more

Working with SIMS AC has been such an easy and pleasant experience. They were able to fix my AC in under 24 hours. They came out on a Friday afternoon to diagnose the issue and returned Saturday morning with the part needed to fix it. They were literally in and out in no time and had a very reasonable price. This was such a breath of fresh air dealing with a business who was straight to the point and didn't have any ulterior motives to up-sell unnecessary items or services. Dan even followed up a few days later to ensure everything was working as it should. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing AC repair. They're definitely a company you can trust. read more

great service.. Jon is very helpful . will definitely hire them again.. AAA plus service. Reasonable rate.

Just wanted to give this business a thumbs up! Jon came at the beginning of the two hour window and he gave me a fair estimate and recommended a part that would cause my AC to last even longer and he showed me the broken part compared to the new one. He cleaned both of my AC units even though only one was broken. He had the parts available in his truck so I didn't have to wait to get my unit blowing cool air again. They are prompt and courteous. Last week my Trane air conditioner went out which is 19 years old so I decided to replace it. I had 5 companies come out and place bids and analyze what I should do to replace the units furnace, air conditioner, and duct work. 3 of the companies were Trane authorized including Dan. Dan was the most knowledgeable of the groups and diagnosed the best solution for my needs. Dan and his crew Jon and Brandon did a fantastic job replacing my duct work, furnace, and air conditioner and it works great. I went with Trane because of the reviews and the luck I had with my previous experience. The best decision I made was using Sims Heating & Air they were just so professional and the install was so smooth. read more

Dan, John, and Bob, are an outstanding SIMS team! I replaced a 30+ year system; air and heating. Dan was extremely professional, courteous, and answered all my questions throughout the entire process; from bid to completion of the job! The team had their tasks, and were so organized and tidy in the process (even while it was pouring down rain). After receiving several bids and researching the systems, I feel I made an excellent choice for my house; the system is super quiet, I love how the heat and air both feel even throughout my two-story home and I love the technology of the newer systems/ thermostat settings. Dan was very helpful to me, making sure I understand the settings, we entered the warranty online and set up the app for the thermostat. If I could give the guys a 10-star, I would. I look forward to a long-lasting relationship for my home's air and heating needs, and will recommend this great team to anyone looking to get the job done right! No shortcuts and truly was an overall great job experience for what could easily overwhelm homeowners facing a large purchase. Thanks, guys!
