After getting 4 quotes, I decided to go with SIMS to replace our 31 year old AC, furnace, and ducts. After Bob came to assess our HVAC system, I received an estimate from Dan, the owner, the next day. Dan answered all my questions via email. He was quick to respond unlike one of the HVAC guys that gave me an estimate. His pricing was reasonable. We had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for installation, but it was worth the wait. The team worked from 8am-3pm non-stop and got the job done in one day. They were all friendly and professional. My husband and I are very pleased with the results. I can't thank the SIMS team enough for all their hard work. I highly recommend them if you're in need of an HVAC system replacement. read more

SIMS saved us from having a really hot day! This is the second time we've used this company and I can tell you that they are reliable, and very prompt. We called Dan and told him that our A/C didn't work, and in less than an hour he sent his technician Jon to fix the problem! Two hours later the A/C worked perfectly. I'm not familiar with the terms of what they did and how they fixed it, but it felt really good to know that it works! We will continue to use this company and we will refer customers their way! Great people that provide excellent service! Thank you Jon, and than you Dan! read more

Been wanting to replace my 18 year old HVAC system and got a quote from multiple companies. SIMS stood out from the rest as they had not only the most competitive price, but also the best warranty. Other companies were only able to offer 2-3 year labor warranties while SIMS was able to do 10 years. This showed me that they not only believed in the durability of the equipment they sell, but the quality of their install of the said equipment as well, which is huge. The guy who did the estimate also listed out the options plain and simple, stuck with the facts, and didn't try to upsell or put down other companies, which I highly appreciated. They arrived on install day on time and cleaned up after themselves when everything was done. Excellent company! read more

Honest & Reliable. They arrived on time and were very professional. They easily could have tried to sell me a new unit since mine is so old. Instead they fixed the problem and replaced a part, all for under $200. read more

Working with the team at Sims was one of the most professional and positive experiences I have ever had. From the very start, we were provided affordable HVAC replacement options that were transparent and honest. I never felt any hard sales tactics and appreciated how they informed me about the current rebate offer and financing options that no one else did. In fact, they processed all of the rebates themselves so that I wouldn't have to deal with the hassle which was reduced from the financed amount and offered 6 month same as cash deal. The agreements and financing were all taken care of digitally which was a nice touch, and they were always responsive to all my questions. On the day of the installation, the team all arrived on time and immediately began to work throughout the day. They were very efficient, clean and great overall nice guys that I felt comfortable and safe going in and out of my house. The owners of the company were on site themselves, and they even installed my Nest thermostat at no extra cost. Excellent job guys...I highly recommend this local family-owned business to everyone looking for affordable rates, great financing and honest hard working professionals. read more

Sims did our a/c install a few years ago. They did an excellent job with the install and with no clean up on our end. We had a problem with our thermostat and asked about switching to a new type. They were able to answer compatibility questions without coming out. Ordered the new thermostat and was able to schedule the install for the next day. Great service! read more

Just finished working with this company for the second time. Absolutely love that they show up on time and absolutely hustle. They are a nice crew and clean up thoroughly after themselves. They even put up with us rotating our three cats and 3 dogs from room to room. They took an 82 year old house with an original octopus heater in the basement (with asbestos removal) and installed central heat and air. A first for us. And all at a completely reasonable cost. Totally worth every penny. read more

Thanks again to Dan and his crew!!!! read more

By far the best company you can ever use for anything you need related to heating and air. They have always responded nearly instantaneously for anything I have asked. Going FAR AND BEYOND what you will expect. Great people that will take care of you well past just selling you a system. No matter what happens they are of the best character and customer focused. On time, literally respond to every detail you need the price is extremely competitive but what you will get in quality, care and customer service is worth 20 times what you will pay. read more

Can't say enough good things about this company. They made replacing my previous 30 year old Trane system very easy. They came on time and had the new units up and running by the afternoon, including several upgrades to the system. They are good at what they do. read more

A/C wasn't getting cold. I was a 1st time Sims customer &,despite it being really hot so I'm sure they were busy, they were out within a few hours. No pressure replace the unit & problem was taken care of quickly. I asked for & was provided a quote to replace the unit. It came quickly &, while Sims followed up on it, there was NO pressure when I said I wasn't ready to do it. That hasn't been my experience with other companies which is why I called Sims. And they're who I'll call when I'm ready to install a new unit. read more

Got these guys over within 2 hours of my call. They found a leak, replaced a couple of parts, and added some refrigerant to my system. Within an hour and a half, my AC was working to the point where my daughter said it was cold. They even said they'd come and check on it if there were any leaks or other problems in 2 months. Thanks guys, great work! read more

Our old AC finally bit the dust and of course it's summer! We got 4 estimates , one of them was SIMS on a recommendation from a friend . They turned out to be the lowest bid , of course that was one reason , but one of the owners Bob also does the work, not just a sales person. They have been in business along time and know what they are doing, licensed , insured etc. Very personable, answered all questions and made some recommendations. We actually changed over to a heat pump system. Crew was very nice, clean and neat. Highly recommend them! Robert O and Cesar R read more

We never had our ac units maintained since we bought our house and figured it was time to get them checked out. SIMS was very responsive via the YELP app and we were able to schedule a time on Saturday for them to come out. Our technician Jon was very punctual, polite and explained everything. The price was fair and he was very tidy. We will be calling them in another year! read more

GREAT service from Dan and his team!!! Got a one room Ac system installed. I would definitely recommend Sims to anyone looking for anything related to air conditioning. I will use him for all my needs. I called Dan on a Saturday and he gave me a quote over the phone more or less. Two days later he was here with all the info I needed to go forward. System is working great!! Very fast and reliable!! We give Dan and his team more the 5 stars 110%. Thank you for your great service!! read more

SIMS recently replaced 2 older A/C units with 2 Trane Slim line systems. We have the units on the side of the house and didn't have much space between the house and the side wall but these fit perfectly and opened up that area for us. Everyone I've dealt with at SIMS has been knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. The price for the systems was competitive and the installation went through without any issues. They were also working in some serious heat!!! Bottom line I was impressed with everything from start to finish. Thank you! read more

Finally, an honest hvac company I can count on. I've always had older homes. In the past, the first words out of the repair person were to try and sell me a new ac unit. And the cost would escalate from there. Today, Jon was clean, professional, and diagnosed my problem right away. The appointment process was flawless. They have me an one hour window and even called me 30 minutes ahead of time. I would strongly recommend this company and I sincerely hope they do well. read more

There's only one word I can use to describe the service I got from SIMS Heating & Air and its "AMAZING"!!! I always dread having to call for services like AC and plumbing repair because you never know when you're getting ripped off. But SIMS has made my AC repair experience so easy and painless. Just 2 days prior, I had gotten a quote for my leaking pipe on the AC furnace area from another AC repair company and was quoted a $3000 job because there might be mold from the water, which required me to apply for home insurance protection, where I pay my deductable and they would credit me some money back, now that just sounded like a insurance scam to me, so I told them I needed to get a second opinion. So I called SIMS on Monday morning to schedule an estimate. I described the problem over the phone and was immediately given the quote of $89 to clear the pipes and stop the leaking. I also got a time slot of 12:30 to 1:30pm. At around 12pm, I received a call to be informed that they might be running late, which I thought was already great service to be informed of their late arrival rather then just sitting there wondering where they are at. When they had arrived at 1:35pm, the problem was quickly assessed, and sure enough all I needed was to have the pipe unclogged. They not only unclogged the pipes but also installed an attachment so I can clear the pipes on my own in the future. They also changed the AC filter free of charge. The grand total of the service was $89, and they wouldn't take a penny more. As for the mold, I can let wall dry and kill it with bleach or just replace the drywall on my own. Honesty and integrity is sometimes just so hard to find in this type of service profession, and I am so glad I found SIMS on Yelp! To think I could have been paying thousands for unnecessary work on my AC is just mind boggling. read more

After meeting and speaking with other companIes reps, some who quoted me some eyebrow raising prices and others, evaissive in their responses. I chose to go with SIMS Heating & Air. They were not the cheapest for an inspection but reasonable. A pleasant and enthusiastic young man arrived and immediately began to explain what he was going to do and based on my system's symptoms I had explained, he replied that this sounds like a simple fix...hmmm?! He initiated his first of inspections on my A/C and conducted his work while I kept an eye out as if I knew what in tarnation he was doing. He completed that and stated that it was not what he first suspected....hmmm So now, he goes to the furnace in the attic where others had told me my problem was and it was going to cost me upwards of $500-$800 dollars at least. Young man goes into my attic away from my view now and I'm at his mercy. A few minutes later and he states that my furnace has tripped a switch that when it feels it's over heating, it trips! Much like a circuit breaker. After clutching my pearls in a sigh of relief, he says...that will be $89 dollars. So it's not my motherboard or burned out circuits like others had mentioned? Not at all, he replied, but it's something that with regular preventative maintenance would have been spotted and taken care of. I admire his honesty, professionalism and courtesy. SIMS Heating & Air has gained a customer for all my HVAC needs and I gladly recommend them for all of yours too. read more

Very nice family business, sales Dan was very straight forward and installer Jon was very professional. These guys are as good as it gets; pure gold. Dan is the owner, truly one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. He met me at the location, on time and he personally made the quote during the peak of hot season. For a variety of reasons, this particular job was going to be a pain in the rear. No problem, they still knocked it out in record time and exactly to spec. To further complicate matters, I was acting as a proxy for the property owner, who was overseas at the time. Most contractors won't deal with a third party. But I explained the situation; Dan understood; and the job was immediately booked. I also learned that they do commercial work too. I guarantee that a few referrals, maybe more than a few, will come from this. Great job guys! read more

This review has been long over due. Dan and his team did an amazing job installing our A/c & hearing. Prices are competitive. During our estimate Dan was thorough in presenting all our options and ensuring we understood everything. He wasn't pushy and he didn't come off as a salesman type. His team arrived on time and were careful in preparing their working area so as not to leave damage and minimize the mess. And they cleaned up everything before leaving. John explained our thermostat system because it is controlled by wi-fi and left his information if we had any questions or needed assistance. Dan goes above and beyond with obtaining our permit and scheduling our follow up inspection. He is communicative and committed to seeing the job through to the end. I feel confident in referring him and his company to anyone. Thank you Dan. read more

Boiler repair. Replaced a $60 fan center, charged $288 and left the wiring in terrible shape. I would not recommend this company.

Dan and his team are lifesavers. I called SIMS Heating and Air for a bid to replace 2 roof top air conditioners and he was out there the next day. I got a lot of bids on this project, and I literally had another company come that same day and pass on it because it was too complex for them -- we had a furnace that needed to be moved in the attic, new ducting for both units, and the rooftop platform they sat on needed to be replaced. Dan never wavered and was confident that they could find a solution. We were in constant communication and he was so helpful in figuring out how to coordinate all the little details to make the project go smoothly. We have several other projects going on, and no one has been easier to reach than Dan! He was also the most knowledgeable of all the professionals we spoke with, and we had complete confidence he would get the job done. Dan and his team coordinated with a crane company and roofers to get all aspects of the project plan approved and completed on time and within budget. He and his partners worked for 3 days straight in the heat of the summer to get our old units disconnected and our new ones working perfectly. This meant a lot of time on the roof and in the exceptionally hot crawl spaces. John and Bob were outstanding! They are clearly experts in the field and Dan knows how to retain the best of the best. Everyone communicated well with each other and with me, keeping me in the loop at all phases. SIMS will be my first call and recommendation for all future heating and air issues. Save your self some time and call them first too! read more

I messaged SIMS Heating & Air to have them come out and find out the problem with my air conditioning unit outside since it would just click when I try to turn it on. Dan replied to me and we scheduled an appointment for the next day. The house was built in 1987 and nothing of the air conditioning system has been replaced since, as far as I know. I was worried parts would not be available to fix it. Fortunately, it was all an easy fix and Jon had everything on the truck to get the unit working again. I've postponed getting the unit fixed for a while, so I'm grateful for SIMS Heating & Air for driving out and repairing the air conditioning so promptly. -George read more

SIMS came out in Aug 2019 to install a new HVAC system and redo our attic duct work. They exceeded our expectations in all the ways. The team was clean and organized, on time, etc. We had limited airflow in the master and they devised a way to add two more vents (which included crawling through at the pitch of our vaulted ceiling) - it's been a life saver. Finally, they only use quality systems and products- highly recommend! read more
