They told us they would open the computer and inspect it, but instead they powered it on immediately and left it closed. The next day, it was obvious they had not opened or inspected it at all. Then suddenly they wanted $99 just to open the back and take a look inside, which was completely different from what we had been told before. Without even opening the computer, they insisted that it would never work again and tried to sell us another laptop. The whole experience felt dishonest and honestly felt like a scam. We wasted two days driving back and forth and lost valuable time when we could have left the laptop open at home to let the moisture evaporate. The way they handled it made us feel as though they wanted the laptop to get worse so they could charge us to repair it.
