Since it was so nice out, I thought I could rent a thacher to push in the yard where I would not be exposed to anybody. I called Rental Depot on Spring Street, West Roxbury and spoke to Brian. When I explained what my situation was, Brian took my credit card information on the phone and when I arrived at rental depot, he came out to my car and put the thatcher in my car as I kept a safe distance. When I called and returned, he met me at my car, took the machine from the trunk and put the slip in the trunk. Great customer service and a really nice guy. I will continue to do business with Rental Depot and I hope they survive this difficult economy.

When my mother (of blessed memory) passed away, we had no safe way to sit shiva due to coronavirus…read more How could my elderly father safely allow visitors? He is pretty with it, but could not do mourning over zoom. We thought of using a tent in the backyard. One quick google search led me to Jim Mariano's "backyard tent rentals" business. From the minute I called him, when I was so recently bereaved, he was as helpful and caring as family. He guessed our request was for sitting shiva and offered chairs and table and tablecloth, and by the very next morning he had set up a 20x20 tent in my father's backyard, and even returned with a gift for him. I'll always be grateful to Jim for helping us out to sit shiva for my mother during these trying days of COVID-19, it has been an absolute blessing for our family, and I'm so glad we found his business and called him to rent that tent.

Getting married in the middle of the pandemic was a bit nerve racking, but Jim's expertise allowed us to navigate the situation with ease. Jim was able to assess what we needed for our small backyard space and make additional recommendations along the way. It rained for a full 2 weeks prior to our wedding. Although the backyard was not in an ideal situation for setting up tents (very soggy), Jim and his team assured me that the tents would be up the morning of the wedding. I had not seen the finished set up until I walked into my reception. Jim and his team did a wonderful job. If you're thinking of hosting a backyard event I highly recommend Back Yard Tent Rental. From beginning to end they were beyond accommodating. without hesitation if needed a rental company again we would be coming back to Jim and his team.

Outstanding quality, customer service, punctuality and the best part was that they were the only…read moreones I found in the area who were open late and on weekends too. Rented 50 folding chairs and the quality of the chairs was by far the best!! around. Wish I had taken a picture to post on this review. Phhh. but the chairs looked brand new, not the all metal crappy cheap kind, but the nice all white chairs you have at outside weddings ? (at least the ones I've been to-- mix of metal and plastic?) I don't know how to describe them but they were all white, super clean (like new!) I saw that other companies around had reviews that complained about some chairs being broken or dirty? I didn't want to run any risks and went with the 5 star review company. Price was great!! Oh and I called so last minute!?! (I called at around 4 or 5 pm on Friday -when all the other rent places seemed to be closed ) for an event the next day at noon??! Yah... I don't recommend you do that ... that's just wrong but it wasn't my party I was just helping out my dad who thought he didn't need chairs ... hmmm 50 ppl ... yah ok... Lol) aaaaanyway, the girl on the phone was super nice and accommodating! The delivery guy too. Very nice. So good to deal with personable people who care about quality and service like they did!! I'm def. calling them next time my dad plans another one of his outdoor festivities. Hopefully next time we all get a little more notice. Lol. Thanks MTR!

They not only delivered the stuff on top and without complaint, they also help set up different pieces of the delivery items, AND THEN went back and added additional drapes to every pipe and drape that my team had done. They ALSO paid so much attention to detail that they went in and fixed all the pipe and drape that my team put on backwards. When they were done, they also asked if there was anything else they could possibly do to help. I can't thank Bill & Alexi enough for their help. They were beyond outstanding and checked in with me throughout the morning.
