I rented 30 folding chairs recently for my son's 1st birthday party. Reserving the chairs was a breeze and they were great to work with and the price couldn't be beat, although I wish they were open on the weekends for pickup & returns. Upon pickup, two guys brought the chairs directly to my car and loaded them in. The reason 2 stars is the quality of the chairs. Most of them had a substantial amount of rust on the metal legs, one chair was completely missing one of the legs, and I found 2 or 3 chairs with cracks in the plastic. One chair even had gum stuck to the bottom. I rented chairs from a since-closed competitor last year and they were in pristine condition. I wouldn't order from Atent for Rent again & in the future will spend the extra money to get a better quality chair elsewhere. read more

Great company. I was a little turned off when I first called many months ago, but they since won me over. The event is over and the crew setup and took down the 40x60 tent very professionally. Everything was exactly as we expected and I would definitely hire this company again. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because it would have been helpful to have someone leading the way with suggestions about what we'd need (or not need). I actually created a yelp account so I could leave a 5 star review for this company. Due to COVID-19, I was forced to cancel my venue and opted to host a 50 person backyard tent weeding in October. I called and researched many tent/event companies and there is no comparison to aTent for rent. Alisha made my last minute change of plans simple and stress free. She was knowledgeable, responsive and remained friendly and helpful during my multiple emails, phone calls and constant changes. She worked with me to package everything I needed day of- it was such a relief. The set up/take down crew was so professional and paid close attention to detail. I did not have one single worry because of this dependable company. The tent was out of this world.. absolutely stunning. Atent4rent was one of the most professional companies we worked with during our wedding planing. From the very beginning they were wonderful. They answered all our questions and concerns before the big day. The week of our wedding they helped me with all the necessary information to get our permit. They installed the (absolutely beautiful) sail cloth tent and provided some lighting in and around the tent on the porch a couple days before the day. We also realized during installation we needed more power thanks to their expert team. They helped us get some generators and delivered them the next day. These guys are smart and work hard. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Atent for Rent! We rented a tent, tables, chairs, tablecloths to accommodate 100 people in our yard for an engagement party for our son. Everything was great quality, clean and in great shape. Setup was on time and smooth as can be, and Kathy P made sure a special scheduling request we made was honored. Pick up was also on time and smooth as can be. I had done the do-it-yourself route with a graduation, and had a bad experience. I thought using a big company to ensure quality would be cost-prohibitive, but Atent for Rent was very reasonable and worked with us to stay within our budget. Very highly recommend them. read more

I wanted to love this company but they were extremely sly and sneaky with us. We were in an extreme pinch trying to get a dance floor that wasn't a typical parquet floor for our wedding (we're dancers). They were going to be our savior for the floor and we wanted to come test it on a weekend and they said they were closed on weekends because they keep weekends available for events. So we were going to move forward anyway with their new england plank floor for our date which they knew about but as soon as it came time to make the invoice, they told us they don't install on the weekends and if they did they would charge us a ton more money. What really pissed us off is that our venue that we are having our wedding at - their 3 season tent is supplied by this company. Just bad form, very sneaky and unfortunately put us back with another company with a floor we didn't want but we just have to make the best of it. Shame on this company for not even being open on weekends - you're an event rental company - that's just bad practice. And shame on this company for not being up front with us from the beginning. read more

I can't say enough great things about Atent for Rent. Where to start? We had a beautiful June 2020 wedding planned at a beautiful venue. Atent for Rent was going to provide us with a beautiful tent to accommodate over 200 guests.Then of course we were faced with the Corona Pandemic which forced us to cancel. Everyone at Atent for Rent couldn't have been more accommodating. We agreed on an August date thinking the pandemic would be over. In May we realized that it would not be feasible to have the wedding in August. Again, everyone at Atent for Rent couldn't have been nicer. When we decided on having a micro wedding with just 10 people on the original date, they were able to offer us a small tent so we would be covered from potential rain(which of course it did). The tent that was provided was outstanding . The workers were great and we would call Atent for Rent in a heartbeat for our next event. Thank you Alicia, AJ and Nick! You are the best! read more

I was so pleased with the services provided by Atent for Rent! I had contacted about 10 other companies trying to find the style of lighting I wanted (string bistro lights) and was told that no companies provide these lights anymore because they are too difficult to set up and break easily. Fortunately, I was put in contact with AJ from Atent for Rent who had both the perfect style tent, lighting, and dance floor that we were looking for! AJ was great to work with- answered all my questions and multiple phone calls/ emails. He came to CT and did a site visit to ensure that the lawn at our venue was adequate, then sent several diagrams with lay-out options. AJ and the other staff were incredibly supportive when we were forced to make last minute decisions about rain protection. Our tent, lights, and dance floor looked perfect! I am so pleased we used this company and highly recommend them! My only recommendation to future brides is to ask the company to bring extra dance floor squares in case you decide last minute that you'd like it to be larger. read more
