We were looking for a tent and chair rental for a yard party and after doing much research in the Reading area we chose Marblehead tent for the following reason(s). 1. A person (Kosmo) not an answering machine answered when we called. 2. Kosmo couldn't have been nicer answering my questions and concerns. 3. Their prices are very competitive. 4. The set up crew was on time as well as very polite and accommodating as to where I wanted the equipment set up. In conclusion I would highly recommend Marblehead tent for your event! read more

We used Marblehead Tent (dba North Shore Events) for our wedding chairs recently and the delivery/pickup service was absolutely terrible--both unprofessional and disrespectful. Our ceremony location was a walk from the parking lot, which was planned for beforehand with the company and led to an upcharge. We also paid 50% extra for same-day pickup, yet when the delivery person dropped off the chairs, he told us he refused to come back today and instead would return tomorrow to pick them up. Since our ceremony was at a state park, leaving property overnight is not permissible and could lead to a citation/penalty. After multiple pleas to get him to return to pickup the chairs, he threatened that he wouldn't return unless I and members of my group moved the 60 chairs from the ceremony location to the parking lot. This all occurred while we were preparing to start our reception. So, he wanted the groom and his family/friends to carry these chairs to the parking lot before the reception, despite having paid extra for this very service. When reaching out to the company about how poor the service was, not to mention how unprofessionally he spoke to our coordinator, they made an excuse about the time a gate closed (though our invoice clearly states the pickup time) and said the chairs were eventually picked up overnight, then refused to respond to another email. Don't risk having to deal with this on your wedding day. Avoid this company. read more

Marblehead Tent - Invoice detail. Pickup time clearly stated. Same day pick up clearly stated. Total distance clearly stated. We paid this over a week before. - Party Equipment Rentals Near Me - Marblehead, Massachusetts

My husband and I used this company (AKA North shore event) to rent chairs for our wedding ceremony on 6/18/22. This company charged us an additional fee of $250 for delivery and collection of the chairs, $60 for labor to set up the chairs, and an additional $300 for the 400 meter distance from the staff parking lot to the drop off location. These payments were made and paid in full 7 days prior to the event. Do not use this company if you want to get the service you paid for. The delivery service (Kosmo Hayes who also is the president of the company) argued with me (the bride) and my wedding coordinator when they had to deliver the chairs the 400meter distance, at 12pm. They then went on to say at 1:30pm that they wont be back to pickup the chairs, and that my husband and his wedding party should PICK UP THE CHAIRS AND DELIVER THEM TO THE GATE!!! Obviously that's was not going to happen since we paid the invoice (including delivery/collection/labor/distance) in full 7 days prior and the invoice clearly stated the delivery and collection terms. However, when we reported this terrible experience to the company manager Nicole Hayes, she yelled at me over the phone and hung up on me! If you are planning your own rental from this company be aware that they have no respect for the services they provide and they will ask you (or your event guests) to perform the services that they were already paid for. read more

I called them the week of a company clambake I was organizing in the middle of the summer to rent some tables and chairs. They weren't available to deliver on the day of the event so they offered to deliver the day before and pickup the day after! Scheduling was simple, prices were VERY reasonable. Will definitely use them again in the future. read more

This Company is a scam! When I made my order for a tent/equipment rental I was told that the prices were 4 times higher than what they had listed on their website. When I inquired about the discrepancy, I was spoke to rudely and told those prices were outdated! (How about you update your website Marblehead Tents instead of trying to scam the consumers !) DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!! read more

They provided excellent service!! If you are looking to rent a Marquee look no further! I will absolutely rent from them for any and all future events! We rented the large tent for my bridal shower. I couldn't have had a better experience. The tent was set up well before my shower started complete with tables covered in fresh white linen and chairs; and the sound system was ready to go. I went with the basic sound system rental and it was perfect. It was super easy to hook up my ipod and play my dance mixes, and the microphone was great for games! Nicole and Kozmo were a delight to work with. This team is so much more than tent rentals; they are full-on event planners! Their sevice made my event run so smoothly. When my shower was over they cleaned and packed up everything they brought in a timely manner. I'm looking for an excuse to throw another party just to work with these two again (: read more

We just got married at our home and Cosmo, Nicole and the entire team were amazing to work with throughout the entire planning process and execution! We rented three tents (which had to be carried down multiple outdoor stairs!) a 20x40, 10x20 and 10x10. All of the tents were in great shape and looked amazing with their bistro and string lights! We also rented 12+ banquet tables, high tops and 80 garden chairs. They even came back last minute to weatherproof the tents by adding sides (forecast was rain, rain, rain and yes, it did rain!). In addition to the beautiful tents, Cosmo placed up lights around the property to illuminate the trees and landscape. They were stunning a perfectly placed! The Marblehead Tent Co. team is excellent. They care about their clients and make the rental process easy and fun. We HIGHLY recommend! read more

Great experience overall. Kozmo (booked rental) and Kevin (delivered and set-up speakers) rock!! Called on a Friday night looking for speakers for a party the following morning. The phone was answered promptly and politely, even though it was nearly 6pm and I was able to book everything right away. The gentleman on the phone (Kozmo) was very knowledgeable and polite and even offered to set up the speakers when the DJ got there so that the speakers would be set up properly and the way the DJ needed. He also asked about what kind of venue the party would be held, the size, and capacity of the crowd to ensure we had the best speakers for our needs. Marblehead Tent techie (Kevin) delivered and picked up the 2 Mackie Thump speakers from the venue and that was in addition to charging the regular price of $160 -- even though it was a last minute rental and for an entire day's use. The guy who delivered the speakers (Kevin) is a musician himself (on his way to a gig in NH after he left us) so he knew exactly what to do and how to set up and position the speakers for the best sound for the venue. Not only professional, but polite, friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced! Marblehead Tent gets 2 thumbs up and a definite recommendation from me. read more

Saturday we had a surprise ice cream social in #MarbleheadMA for my betrothed's birthday party. (I'm told it was her 50th but I don't believe it!) Nicole and her crew did a fabulous job showing up, setting up and cleaning up. I will definitely hire them again! Thank you! read more

Kozmo and his team are so much more than just a rental company - they are your expert event partners! They problem solve and make excellent suggestions to improve your experience. I rented the 10x20 tent, multiple chairs and tables and I would recommend. They have good prices for everything and they come and deliver it for you. The guys who set up the tent and took it down were very nice. I would definitely return if I ever need any more party rentals. read more

This is a FANTASTIC service! They arrived early as planned, scouted a site and assembled the tent on the spot we agreed upon. It was a large tent 20x20, and was perfect to shade the sun, and also shield from the rain- Both types of weather that we experienced on that day. Courteous, friendly, and affordable. The tent added the perfect element to our party that day. Highly recommend Marquees of Marblehead for your next party, in New England you just never know what the weather will do and this provides great piece of mind and protection. Also, I understand that they will have bouncy houses available- we will test that out next :) read more

We had a graduation party this past weekend and Kosmo was so easy to work with... great communication and a very fair price. The 20 x 20 frame tent was so pretty, many of our guests commented on its beautiful and unique shape. I am so happy we decided to rent from Marblehead Tent, it was easy and the tent and tables were just perfect. read more
