We were out of town, with no one to be able to come get her and take her to the vets, Chrissy and Jeanette both volunteered to get her to the vet for us. Unfortunately, Sadie passed before anything could be done. Had it not been for the daily loving care Sadie was receiving, her distress would not have been noticed anywhere else. Chrissy and Jeannette jumped into immediate action, although the outcome was tragic. Jeannette called me and was so kind and compassionate. She volunteered to take Sadie's body to the vet for cremation. I cannot express enough how much, both Chrissy's and Jeannette's empathy and concern was appreciated. The owner Jessica was really accommodating, came to see our place and go over everything. It was definitely a little nerve wracking to trust our pets and place to someone we just found on the internet, but it went really well. They offered to do other things to help out during visits to the home, like retrieve our mail and making our place looked lived in. The woman taking care of our cats left notes about how the cats were doing, how they were eating, which we really appreciated. The furballs were in good shape when we got home, the litter boxes were clean, etc. If we were still living in their area of service, we definitely would consider using them again if we needed pet care.

Also, I have noticed that she is actively involved in the community...especially in terms of animals and pets. She has worked with different agencies to help pets receive food and medical treatment for families that may be financially challenged in these tough economic times.
