It was a good portion, I was satisfied and everything was cooked really well. My boyfriend ordered the pork gyro (higher plate) with tomato, red onion, lettuce and tzatziki wrapped in pita bread with a side of fresh cut fries and ketchup. First time trying this restaurant because it was close to my hair salon, and it did not disappoint! The place is a smaller shop in a place but it was well organized, clean, and service was quick and tentative as well. There were probably only 3 or 4 employees in the whole restaurant but it seems they have a really organized system and the food came out amazing and at a reasonable time. If you're ever in the Lancaster area looking for delicious Greek food I'd highly recommend this restaurant! And I will definitely be back!

Most items are scratch made down to the pita and they even grow their own herbs. When ordering dessert the owner offered to make us an off menu item he was trying which hopefully makes it onto the menu soon! Additionally a really good drink/beer list! The owner came and spoke with us for a bit and is a very kind and cool guy. This place is absolutely with a try!

Don't tempt me with one of their omelets I could eat that all day. Country fried steak with gravy? Also top notch. We LOVE this place for breakfast. Their cocktails are stellar and I have loved trying the seasonal specials. Their burgers are top-notch and we all enjoy the Wisconsin cheese curds. My most recent visit I ordered the fish tacos and I was impressed with every component of that dish. As far as cocktails, I've tried the blackberry bramble, which is deep and flavorful; raspberry lemon drop that is bright and mildly sweet; and had the cherry cheesecake from the winter menu and enjoyed the fresh flavor with a rich finish. The beer list is also very good with offerings from Dewey Beach, Troeg's, and other craft breweries. I feel Brickerville House is consistenly a great value for your money. It's a comfortable place to meet friends and it's also good for kids.

Came here on a Monday just after 10:30am and they honored our breakfast order. The lunch menu starts promptly at 11am so this was really nice of them. The place is so cute! It's got a country/hipster vibe. I was pleasantly surprised that they had a bar! :) My one issue with breakfast was that I asked for butter and was given butter packets. We came here thinking we were having fresh Amish butter, nope! - What a disappointment! Ugh. The reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because of the weird smell. Walking in I thought maybe we walked in right after a gassy person but as we walked through the restaurant to the back the smell was still consistent. We got to the table and the smell seemed to go away or at least we got used to it. At one point I had to use the bathroom and while walking around to find it, the smell hit me first. I was able to smell my way there. Once walking out I was sick. My husband also had to use the e bathroom but the smell was too strong for him so we went stopped elsewhere. The place has a smell that's a mixture of plug-ins and poop. It's the weirdest thing. I'm not sure if they were having sewer issues today or what happened. It seemed like they were definitely aware of the issue because the smell of several plug-ins or air fresheners was obvious. I'd like to give this place another try since the ambiance, food, and staff were all great but the odor is a dealbreaker for me. I guess I'd have to go back & see if this issue gets resolved, if not, I would not stay a second time.

The Mount Joy location is easy to find, has plenty of off street parking, and offers lots of tables, which can accommodate a sizable number of customers at once. The atmosphere is classic diner with booths, stand-alone tables, and counter service, and they can easily set up tables for larger groups. At 9:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning, there was no wait and we were offered a selection of seating options, so we had a desirable table. The wait staff was prompt and attentive. Coffee was hot and plentiful. My order of the standard scrambled eggs, home fried potatoes, and toast was served promptly, delivered ample portions, and was as tasty as one could expect. Nothing fancy, just a satisfying breakfast. My spouse ordered 2 eggs over easy with home fries and toast. Just as good. Also ordered a slice of coconut cream pie for desert, and the serving size was so large, we had to ask for a takeout box to take that with us. Overall, Gus's is a good bet when you want a breakfast at a diner.

This is how friends and family described Cava to me…read morewhen it first opened, and it's the reason why I'm such a late convert -- Chipotles are usually dirty and their food is in the news too often associated with making people sick. Cava is nothing like that. I got a chance to try the food for a work lunch event and enjoyed the food so much that I've introduced it to my husband and daughter as one of our more health quick dinner options. I've tried a variety of proteins and topping options in the BYO bowl and have been really pleased with the food quality and variety--I love all the traditional sauces (harissa, tzatziki), and the hubs loves the crazy feta. For dressing options, I highly recommend the lemon herb tahini and tahini Caesar. The online ordering is so simple and everything is completely customizable -- the hubs and kid can nix onions from their bowls and I can add all the onion options to mine. Everyone's happy! There are reserved to-go parking spaces right at the front entrance, so it's convenient to park there, run in to the pick up rack and grab my order. In and out in less than 5 min. If you eat-in, there plenty of room and seating inside and they even have a little outdoor area out back during the warm weather months. The staff work quick, so the order line generally moves well, but you occasionally have someone who is new to the concept asking a lot of questions about options, so that takes a little more time. For the most part the staff are patient in helping people who are struggling with the menu. The one miss? The desserts. We ordered the chocolate chip brownie once to share and were surprised by how small it was-- a little bigger than an AirPod case and an inch thick. Two bites, which for one person is enough, but not really a shareable. And for the price? For a pre-packaged brownie, essentially? Not worth it. Skip the sweet stuff and stick with the bowls.

Definitely lemony, custardy egg thick and rice; this is something I'll need to compare with another, avgolemono. Back to Lancaster's Greek restaurants, to include "gyros;" they're hella good, but expensive, elsewhere within Lancaster. I know; I've heard it all before: we make our pita and dips from scratch, our feta is flown in from Greece, fries are hand cut (yeah yeah, yadda yadda) and you leave, wondering why your bill for two gyros, was near to $70. This was not the case with Souvlaki Boys and they're gyros are just as good, tender, savory meat, soft pita, stuffed with your choice of homemade tzatki sauces, feta, loaded with fresh, crunchy salad veggies and yes, hand cut fries - all within this gal's budget.

Luckily, there's a private parking lot behind the store that you can park or you can street park. I think there is garage parking a short walking distance away. It's a quaint corner restaurant with indoor seating. You can dine in or take out. There's a bench to use if you're waiting for take out and there's probably enough seating for about 20 guests. Food is made to order. Expect to wait. The staff tells you ahead of time that it may take 15-20 minutes to prepare. I'm perfectly Ok with waiting for a freshly made order. The staff was super friendly and patient as I wasn't sure what I wanted to order. I opted for the classic gyro but without fries inside the pita. When we got our food, the gyro did have fries. The girl who brought our food offered to have a new one made without fries but we kept the gyro as is. The fries on the gyro didn't overtake the sandwich so it was actually pretty good. Ordered a side of fries also. Seasoned perfectly and not too oily/greasy. We never had baklava before. That dessert was very delicious. It was warmed and dusted with cinnamon as suggested by staff. It did not disappoint. Very pleased with this lunch spot. Worth the wait. Will try again. Thanks for a great experience.
