Kabab wrap
Joshua R.

A friend and I stopped in on a quiet Thursday evening about an hour before they closed, and I am so grateful we did! The food was incredible: presentation, aroma, flavor, texture. Everything was a dream! We ordered the Mediterranean sampler that had a great variety of items from their menu, stuffed grape leaves, and a kebab wrap. The sampler alone shared between two people was super filling! Service was quick and the staff were extremely friendly. I absolutely cannot wait to go back! It's a smaller space with several 4 top tables and some seats at a bar. I did inquire whether they would be able to accommodate a larger group than 4 and they told me it would be no problem. I will definitely be bringing my friends and family to enjoy in the near future! Some of the best food I've had in York. Thank you, Levant!

Mediterranean platter

Today was my luckiest day of 2024!! Can't see it getting better than this! I've been to so many mideastern restaurants in York, Harrisburg and Lancaster but all just ok. I had to go as far as malvern, PA to eat at a great Lebanese but nothing closer until today! Oh what joy!!! While it's not Lebanese, it comes pretty close to what I love in mideastern cuisine. The openness, cleanliness, attention, ambiance of culture making you forget you're in York, PA is an experience for sure. I love the cultural music so please continue to play it, it's definitely part of the wonderful experience. One of the reviews I read advices to get the Mediterranean platter, which we did and OMG! So good! Our waitress explained all the details of the platter and offered her favorite way of eating which was really good too. The service was attentive and very friendly. We ordered fries which were hot fresh fryer and well seasoned, stuffed grape leaves and for entres kabab with rice and masahkan ( might of misspelled) it was a tender juicy well seasoned chicken over a toasted pita and drizzled with seasoning and olive oil. The kabab was juicy meat roll with tomato sauce, onions, roasted veggies. The rice was a bit bland for my taste but I added some sauce, yogurt, zaatar, and the rest of olive oil we had from the platter. We were offered lentil soup. I'm not crazy about lentils, they're too earthy for me but this soup was amazing with the three lemon wedges squeezed in and the crispy pita chips. I also added some cream and zaatar from the platter to it and enjoyed ever drop. Great birthday experience! Thanks for being in York and wishing you many many years of success! On the street parking

Royal Mint Lemonade

First time coming to this relatively new establishment, it's hard to find authentic Mediterranean food in York. Walking in you are greeted with decor that beckons you to stay, from the backsplash tiled juice bar to the red ceilings to the oven. Appears to be family owned, all the staff are humbly kind and of their restaurant decent. The menu is brief, which is always a good thing, one two sides of a laminate page. We ordered the royal mint lemonade, which is insanely refreshing, and the Arabian night orange, which does include some type of Turkish coffee. Again refreshing but drink it while it's ice cold, lukewarm coffee is never good. We started with the Mediterranean platter which consists of falafel, baba, hummus, olives, yogurt sauce, Zatar and olive oil. All of it incredible. We got the tabouli, which was good but I found the minced cucumber a distraction, typically the chunks are bigger but maybe its location. And lastly we got the Mushakan which I've never had before but it's basically marinated quarter chicken on a large pita style bread, that's well seasoned with caramelized red onions. Very delicious and plenty of food. I really enjoyed the whole experience and I certainly hope enough people check this hidden gem out to keep it running for years. Can't wait to return!

Easily the best Mediterranean food I've had in the Harrisburg/York area... The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff was gracious and the food was outstanding. Make sure to get hummus and pita!

Levant is a must-do restaurant in Downtown York! I could eat here every day. The mouth watering food is freshly made to perfection. The service is excellent, and you can tell they really care about their customers. You will not regret visiting and will return time and time again! I cannot wait until my next meal!

Food was delish! The owners are from Palestine and so was one of our group. She said it tasted like home.

This was Tulip Grill before so I don't know what it looks like now since the hubby picked up our order. Parking is not too bad but be aware that it can get busy due to DD, Lantern Sushi & Roy's are nearby. They notified my hubby that they needed 5 more minutes to get all our order cooked, and put together. Minor comment- though I like the flavor both green and tamarind sauces were a little thin. I like a thicker sauce for dipping. Also the fries though well-seasoned could be crunchier. Still highly recommend trying them out. I have two more meals from my platter.

Everything on the menu is packing a fairly hefty punch of flavor, and the servings are generous. There was a short line when I arrived, but the counter-style service moved pretty quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sometimes counter-style is surly and brusque; not here. The staff go out of their way to make sure that you get all the toppings you might enjoy. As a first-time customer, I appreciated that. The shop itself is small with some seating but nobody was dining in; this was not because it's not popular (see the aforementioned line), I think they're just primarily geared towards takeout. I'll definitely be back, especially if I'm in the neighborhood anyway.

Tatiana herself greeted us and sat us at a perfect table in the corner where we could look out at the restaurant. The food matched the first impression - presentation was superb! We started with the appetizer of chicken meatballs - 6 delicious bites to share. Flavor was on spot and the white sauce sweet yet savory. Next cam our dinners. Each served with soup (Ukranian borscht), lovely mixed salad, and homemade dinner rolls - to die for! We started with the Ukranian Ice Tea - and first for me. And now a staple! It had a hint of fruit tones, not too sweet, very cold, and refreshing! I had 2 glasses. We ordered the Ukranian Stew which comes with Ukrainian rice (another fabulous staple - I will add this as an additional side dish to any ongoing visits we make, it's that good). The sauce on the stew was perfectly seasoned as well - with a hint of cardamom and perhaps cinnamon? It was a perfect blend of savory with hint of sweetness to compliment the chicken, chicken sausage, beef tips, vegetables, and more that made up the stew. The sauce was worthy of a spoon to ensure every morsel was consumed - with bread to wipe the bowl clean! The portion sizes are generous as well. The second entre was the Colosseum Tortellini Combo with chicken, chicken sausage, mushrooms, onions, peppers and cheese tortellini all tossed in a Asiago Alfredo Marinera sauce. A other enjoyable dish. While we did not have dessert, the selections looked equally scrumptious! We will try the pumpkin cheesecake when we return. This is a family run business. Ash is the Chef, Tatiana runs the front if the house. They have a second floor dinkng space that can seat up to 50! Great spot for special event or party. Even Tatiana's mother participates with her dessert baking. Both Ash & Tatian were delightful. It was like being invited to a friend's home for a feast! Highly recommend trying. I know we will return to try numerous other items on the menu.

The steak was cooked rare, placed on top of a white sauce tortellini, and some kind of balsamic glaze. The presentation was beautiful! Entrees are served with borsch to start and that was delicious too. The service was great. She was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. After our dinners were finished, our server presented a beautiful platter of different cheesecakes. Yes please! I got the apple cheesecake and it was amazing. Not too sweet and very creamy. The outside seating is nice and quiet. I'd love to dine in again.
