Can't believe this place is so close to me! Hands down some of the best service and dinner I have had in awhile. The restaurant makes it feel like you stepped into India. It is beautiful and very classy. The staff is super nice and helpful. Drinks were delicious and well made. The food was some of the best Indian I have had. We already made another reservation to come back!

Great service, beautiful atmosphere, and great food and drinks! First time here and was very impressed with the hospitality and delicious food and drinks! The owner even took the time to chat with my wife and I and he was extremely pleasant and kind. Totally recommend!!

Food was outstanding and some of the best service I've received, from Hamir himself! Visited while on crutches and while leaving Hamir rushed to open to door and wish my family well. Can't recommend enough!!

Amazing! We went for a birthday celebration, and they were so kind. It was our first visit, and the staff was super helpful with recommendations and having us try some curry. The food was delicious! The restaurant is cute and we will definitely be back.

This restaurant is the perfect combination of authentic Indian food and a modern fine dining experience. The menu is pricier than other Indian restaurants I've been to, but this is adequately reflected in the quality of the dining experience. The service was attentive and welcoming and the food was presented beautifully. The chef (and likely the owner) came out to greet each table throughout the evening to ensure the meal was to our liking, which I found to be a lovely and heartfelt gesture. The aesthetic presentation of each food item, from our appetizers, to our drinks and desserts, was so thoughtfully and pleasantly curated. A colleague we met for dinner had never tried Indian food before, so she ordered the Thali entree, which includes a variety of sampling options, as shown in the photos. We found this unique menu item to be a wonderful introduction to the vast range of enjoyable Indian dishes. I highly recommend giving this a try to those who are either new to Indian food or those who are feeling indecisive when choosing an entree. One last note: We hadn't realized that the restaurant closed at 9 pm on a Friday night, so we were the last table in the restaurant, which I often adamantly and intentionally avoid. However, the desserts still came out picture-perfect (just after 9 pm). The chef/owner came out, once again, to ask us to please take our time and enjoy them. This type of genuine connection between the one masterfully crafting a dining experience and those who are fortunate enough to enjoy it is something that is not found often and did not go unnoticed. We are very much looking forward to our next night out at Hamir's Indian Fusion. Well done to this establishment.

    This was the dessert special.

Downtown York can be quite a busy place on a Friday night. Because of this, we started our night early and chose Hamir's for dinner. When we walked in, we were the first ones in for dinner, and were greeted almost immediately, and despite not having a reservation (again... Friday night) we were seated immediately. We were given a sample of the three different Currys that they offered and the only problem I had was deciding which one was the best. I will cut right to the Chase and say this is some of the best food that I have ever had, and I can't even begin to offer enough praise for the service. I felt like I was talking to old friends. Our entrées were amazing, our appetizers were amazing, our dessert was amazing, and our cocktails were not only amazing but extremely original. It is hard to say what the shining star of the evening was... Was it the service or was it the food so I won't pick either I will just say that you will not be disappointed when you eat here. You will not be disappointed when you drink here. I even had the chance to speak with the chef and share my praise with him. What an amazing restaurant... No... What an amazing experience. I encourage anyone reading this review to stop in and say hi to the wonderful staff, and take time for amazing drinks, amazing appetizers, amazing dinner, amazing dessert, and most of all people. just remember... You are likely going to need a reservation if you are dining out on Friday night after 6 PM

Mango Custard is gorgeous and delicious!

Mango lassi- full of food coloring and the cardamom flavor is so overpowering! You literally cannot even taste any mango. Idk why this lassi was orange bc mango lassi is usually yellow. Naan- literally pre made Costco naan. Not even fresh or in house made. And they're charging $3-$4 for one piece?! Bollywood Platter Appetizers- pakoras are just batter with orange food coloring. The chicken pakora was freezer burn chciken dipped in besan batter. Dumplings were probably the only thing my husband said was edible. Samosa was also below average- literally taste like the frozen ones from the Indian grocery store. So if they is also pre made Costco samosas I wouldn't be surprised. Butter chicken- the worst! Again. I don't understand why you need to use so much orange food coloring. Bland gravy. No salt, the cardamon flavor was so overpowering that it was not edible. Food was around $37-$40. Over priced horrible "Indian food". I even requested the gentleman who took my order to make it desi style so if this is desi style then idk what their regular food taste like. I have tried so many Indian restaurants around central pa and this was by far the WORST. If you want good AUTHENTIC Indian food go to Banana Leaf in Mechanicsburg. I really want to support local businesses near me but if my money is getting wasted like this I will not support them. Never coming back.

The Mint Room in Bel Air is an absolute gem and easily home to one of the best Indian lunch buffets in Maryland. I have also been to their Hunt Valley location and both consistently deliver an outstanding experience. I visited on a Saturday afternoon for their lunch buffet which runs from 11am to 3pm and left beyond satisfied. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and conveniently located in a shopping plaza, making it easy to access with plenty of parking. Even though the buffet was decently packed when we arrived around noon, we were seated immediately. The buffet spread is impressively expansive, with 15 plus dishes available at any given time. Everything is refreshed frequently, so the food is always hot and inviting. It is the kind of buffet where you can actually sample everything in one visit without feeling rushed or disappointed by empty trays. Highlights for me included the fish curry, goat curry, biryani chicken, and the tikka style mushrooms, which were addictive. The spice level across the board leans mild to medium, making it approachable for all palates and appropriate for all ages, while still delivering plenty of flavor. It strikes a perfect balance between authenticity and accessibility. Service was also excellent. Each table is greeted with a carafe of mint infused water, which is a thoughtful and refreshing touch that sets the tone right away. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. At $20 per person, this may be the best dining deal in all of Bel Air. Between the quality, variety, and service, The Mint Room is an easy recommendation and a spot I will happily return to again and again.

5/5 -- Exceptional Hospitality, Delicious Food, and True Value…read more Indian Curry Lounge absolutely deserves five stars -- not just for the food, but for the incredible hospitality, service, and value that make this place stand out in Harrisburg. I'll be honest: the location isn't the most inviting, especially at night. Walking in felt a little unusual at first -- but the moment we stepped inside, the experience completely turned around. The staff here are genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. The chef himself even came out to talk to us, asked if everything was good, and shared his story. That personal touch really made the whole evening memorable. You can tell they care deeply about their guests. Now, the food -- fresh, flavorful, and made with care: * Noodles were made exactly as requested -- mild for my child -- and still packed with flavor. * Curries were rich and delicious without being overly oily or spicy. * Naan was fresh, light, and fluffy -- one of the better ones I've had in the area. * Dosa was crispy and simple but very satisfying with the accompanying chutneys. * Chili Paneer wasn't as spicy as I prefer, but the texture was spot-on -- crispy, well-coated, and flavorful. * Samosas were definitely worth ordering -- perfectly fried and nicely spiced. But the highlight of the entire meal was the Tokri Chaat. It came in these adorable bite-size, crispy edible baskets filled with chickpeas, chutneys, yogurt, and spices. Beautifully presented and even better in flavor -- a creative twist done perfectly. Between the warm hospitality, the thoughtful service, and the great-tasting food, Indian Curry Lounge is truly a gem. Even with the location being a little off-putting at first, the people inside make you feel at home instantly. If you're in the Harrisburg area and craving Indian food with heart behind it, give this place a try. Five stars well deserved.

So sad looking, nothing like any other indian restaurant where I've been. I tasted the naan and it was sad, wasn't horrid, but wasn't at all yummy. I opened it to find it's missing a lot of things. I only had a few bites of the paneer because it tasted like something was wrong with it. Later that night my stomach was not happy. If I were eating in there, I'd have returned everything.
