Just because I said I received a damaged product. He called me a lair and no integrity as a Christian. I was extremely shocked by this horrible customer service. Here is the story I purchased two Fotlie Range hoods from AM Center which is the Fotile Agency. First one for my parents was fine, but unfortunately the second one for myself was found out damaged immediately the box was opened. As the picture shown, it was heavily smashed on the surface top. I contacted the owner of Fotile agency via WeChat Friday noon, but no response at all. Since it's the weekend, so I didn't want bother much. So I waited until Monday morning, still no response, so I called three times finally he answered the phone, I told him we have contacted him last week, I simply explained the fact which is the truth of the smashed product. Suddenly he started yelling and screaming saying that he had been sold so many of this products and all damaged must be caused by customers, most of the time caused by improper installation, so I must be lying about the it, I said I was telling the truth. It is what it is. and he questioned me how can I be a religious person and not having the integrity. Excuse me??? How dare you judge my faith!!! Besides, you haven't even seen the damage product in person, already giving the conclusion? All the broken glass pieces were in the original box and there was even no fingerprints left on the product, the product itself still in the box wrapped with foamed plastic, because we never took it out of there.besides that, all four corners are perfectly fine, if like he said we dropped or hit to make it damages, it would be leaving any sort of evidences like broken corners! Anyway, we brought it back after that horrible phone call, he refused to take it in at beginning, since we insisted, so he took it, and of course he was extremely rude and mean to me. After all the nonsense talking, he said he would contact Fotile to do the inspection. And then ? There is no solution afterwards... I could never thinking about any business would treated their loyal customers like this. Customer service is the key, Need solution? Refund or replacement? Is that simple? We used Design Inside for our recent condo renovation, and we were pleased with our designer,…read moreAbigail. We had looked into three or four design firms and went with Design Inside because we got along well with Abigail from the initial consultation. She's friendly and had suggestions from our first meetings. Our remodeling scope was pretty basic (resurface hardwood floors, install new tiling, new lighting, new kitchen countertops/backsplash/hardware, painting, etc.) We weren't planning on taking down any walls or putting up new walls - hence "pretty basic" in our eyes! The initial few weeks involved back and forth with designs and occasional meetings with Abigail so she could get a handle on what we wanted done. Abigail was accommodating with meeting/phone times, and would often meet with us late afternoons or early evening. She created designs we had never thought of doing (enclosing in structural poles, wainscoting, etc). Abigail also was able to easily "read" my husband and I in terms of color schemes and we ended up choosing one of the first few samples of tiling and backsplash that she dropped off with us. Kudos for that! Abigail also provided us bimonthly hours summary / detail so we knew how much we were being charged for her services. She would break down the time she spent working for us by the minute and it was helpful to see where our dollars were being spent. From a "grand overall design", Abigail did a good job, but when we started getting into the details in the later phases, we did run into a few minor issues. I recommend ordering all materials / furniture / art yourself and not going thru Design Inside. With a little work on the intranet, you can find it cheaper, not to mention a lower delivery charge. We had a few material mix-ups with Design Inside - i.e. we received the wrong hardware; not enough tile or grout was ordered. Abigail's measurements for the den were incorrect so she didn't order enough tile / grout - her measurements for the wallpaper were also off, but this time we almost ordered too much. The invoice system used by Design Inside is a little confusing and you should pay very close attention and track your own expenses. It's hard to describe but trying to track all the bills and refunds with the invoices provided was difficult. Overall - I would recommend Design Inside and Abigail for your remodeling needs. I would just offer a bit of advice to double check measurements and order your own materials, but would still recommend the company. Abigail provided different designs and options that demonstrated her design skills as well as her ability to connect with us in terms of what our goal of the remodel was. In our eyes, that was key.

This left me with an incomplete redesign: -I have drapery hung, but it is wrinkled as all getout because they didn't bother to bring a steamer. -They totally ignored accent items (pillows, etc). Basically they helped with the big ticket items (probably items they get a spiff on) yet ignored the pieces that tie a home together. When it was all said and done, I spent 5 figures with this firm and I didn't get the courtesy of a project follow up nor a simple "thank you for your business." Very disappointing. Long story short, their ideas are good but execution is severely lacking.

Once the design was finished, Al did a excellent job managing the work. He was extremely responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. The final product was excellent. Before you read this review, first go schedule some time to meet with Al, because his schedule fills up quickly...FOR GOOD REASON. He is hands down the best contractor you could hire for your home remodel project. I really wish there were a better way for me to explain to you how good he is. Just put it this way: I am currently looking for a holy candle with his photo on it. Too far? Come on. I have seen them even with local celebrities and this guy saved my life. Still too far? Let me tell you the story. My wife and I bought our DREAM HOUSE. Well, maybe not hers, but it was for sure mine. I had always dreamed of buying a house to gut rehab that I would do with my dad. That was this house. It was a perfect prospect for a gut rehab. The only thing I thought I couldn't do myself was remove a load-bearing wall and replace it with a beam. That is how I met Al. I called him for a quote on the beam. Our first meeting was awesome. He walked me through how he would replace the beam and it was great. He then showed me that I would probably want to replace the main beam running the length of the house. At the time I didn't know how he knew to go check that beam. Soon I would learn that his years of experience serve his customers in many different ways. As he was wrapping up the first visit, he asked me about the rest of the project. I told him that I was taking care of it myself. He asked me what I thought it would cost and then he told me what he thought it would cost. His number was much higher than mine, but it made sense that it would cost that much more if I left it to a professional (remember this for later). I felt good that I could get this done, so I stuck with Al for the beams and decided to keep the rest for myself. So we moved ahead in the project and then things got a little tricky. My dad got sick. Thank goodness he is still with us and funnier than ever, but he was in no shape to be my driving force through this project. I had no clue what to do. I was working on the house on my own and dealing with a couple of contractors that weren't the best. Without my dad (who is a carpenter and had been for 40 years), I was lost. Then I thought of Al, and I remembered how great he had been with the beam and how he seemed pretty confident with how he would approach the project. I sat down with him and asked him to take on the carpentry work that my dad would have driven. He gave me the quote and how he would work the project, and light came back into my life. While he was working on carpentry, he gave me some great ideas on how we could make this project even greater. He also worked well with other contractors that I had hired. Although I didn't hire him as the general contractor, he guided me through the silly mistake I made in trying to GC this thing myself (DO NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE). So the weeks and months passed, and the project is clipping along, but we are behind the schedule I had wanted (all self-imposed). Al knew how much my wife, kids, and I wanted to get moved into our new house. Then Al put his cape on. He worked hours that I have never seen a contractor work before. He put our project on his back and brought it home. He saw me cry when I didn't know what to do, and he saw me cry when the drywall went up and I saw the light at the end of the tunnel. I now live in the house that I had always dreamed I would have. My wife and kids love everything about the house. Many of the things that they enjoy on a daily basis would not even be here had Al not said, "how about we do this?" He has an eye for all things no matter how small or how large.
