I used this business for a move in service, and I'm absolutely shocked by what happened. Cleaning the fridge is an extra service you have to specifically request and I did not request it. The fridge was already clean, and I was also storing breastmilk in the freezer, so there was no reason for anyone to touch it. Despite that, someone opened the fridge anyway and threw away the breastmilk I had stored there. This milk took me forever to pump!!! To make things worse, I reached out to the business right away and never received any response. No apology, no explanation, no response, nothing. This experience was extremely upsetting, and I would never recommend this company. read more

I also have a dog so I needed a thorough cleaning. Simply Clean accommodated my last minute (Christmas Eve) request. They were on time (8am), cleaned the grease from my walls, dusted and mopped, deep vacuum, essentially it looked like I had a deep cleaning even though it was regular cleaning! I hired simply clean for a deep clean of a one bedroom apartment early this year. They communicated well leading to to the clean, but on the scheduled day arrived a couple of hours late with no communication about the delay. Since I had arranged my schedule to be home when they arrived, this was inconvenient. When they did arrive, the cleaning team that showed up was larger than the one we had originally discussed. I didn't think anything of this until the manager arrived a couple of hours into their work and told me that the price was higher because they had sent an extra cleaner. This felt a lot like bait and switch, but since they were already there working there didn't seem to be much I could do but agree. The person cleaning my bathroom did a fantastic job. The room was sparkling when she was done. The people cleaning the kitchen and living room were somewhat less detailed. In the living room, when the cleaners switched off halfway through they had me check to see if everything was looking good so far. I pointed out a window that hadn't been cleaned and they assured me they'd get to it. After they left later I went back to check and the window still hadn't been touched. That cleaner also almost threw out one of my shoes before I rescued it from her trash pile and sat a mini fridge that she'd unplugged to move it if her way on my couch and left it there when she left. I didn't find it for a couple of hours, by which time it had defrosted and melted water all over my couch and floor. Trash bags they took out were left on the ground by my trash bins, not even tied shut. This ended up alerting me to the biggest issue I had with them: when I went outside to clean up the trash bags, I looked inside and realized they had thrown out an irreplaceable antique crystal cocktail glass that was part of a set I inherited. I carefully removed the glass, but when I set it to the side to keep checking to see if they'd thrown anything else important out, it shattered. Unfortunately from my experience it seems like the quality of the clean really depends on the people you get sent. If you choose to use them, I'd recommend being very specific about the quote and what is covered and holding them to it. read more

The lead person showed up before his crew did and we went over what I needed for my move out cleaning. He explained how they worked and what they would be doing. The landlord had one request of moving the refrigerator out a bit to clean the floor under it. It was a very small space but he got it cleaned! Three total people and they worked quickly but thoroughly. It was well worth the $$ which saved me from spending a day to clean and probably not a well! I am impressed by this cleaning service. Today a manager came in with the two women and just wanted to check on how things were going last week. They cleaned the entire refrigerator out and I find the tend to work very hard and do a really complete job. This hasn't been the case for some other cleaners that I've used in the past. The last guy that cleaned my apartment barely spent any time in my apartment and while it took me 40 minutes to clean my bathroom and kitchen floor is roughly done with the whole apartment in 50 minutes. I had a cleaning project I needed done after my entire family died and I stopped cleaning the house out of depression for a few weeks, and this place was one of the companies who responded. They gave me a quote of $85/hr, took my payment information, and I was sent what looked to be a confirmation email with a slot for 1-3 PM on the 26th. Day of the 26th, 3 PM comes and goes and I don't hear from them. I text the number listed in the email because their website doesn't work. I'm told I was never actually booked despite the confirmation email. I still have no idea what would've happened with my appointment if I hadn't reached out because there was no other indication of any other time or date they would've come out to the house on. We've had LA Simply Clean over after a few construction projects and they are extremely detailed. They are good at communicating, they arrive on time within the window they commit to, with the right number of people, and get to work right away. We chose to gave them specific products to use, but they bring everything and confirm you're ok with scent used in the house. Its very thoughtful given we have 2 small kids and allergies. To be honest, the bathrooms and kitchen were a mess. 6 years of hard water deposits on the bathroom glass and grease on the kitchen stove and range hood and dust everywhere. 2400 sq ft home, 3 bathrooms, kitchen. They spent most of the day working on it and the results were great. The price was more than fair for the amount and quality of work that they did.
