What I also didn't know was that there was no place to sit!! I scooted down the counter just like all the other folks to watch the bakers prep the next gozillion pastries for the day. I'm a fan of a higher custard to crust ratio and this definitely hit the spot. Remember to add a bit of cinnamon on top to bring out the custard flavor more. There are three queues: one for sit-down service, one for the historical counter (whatever that may be, we didn't stick around long enough to check that out), and one for takeaway which is the fastest and basically had no line, where you can take one or four and enjoy them in one of the nearby parks.
