Great little pizzeria in Hico. Plenty of comfortable seating and parking, with handicap accessible,…read moresingle occupancy restrooms. After you order at the counter you can watch the friendly, expedient, and attentive staff make your order in the wood fire oven you can view from each table. There is a pretty ample beer and wine selection--only a few basic beers on draft. For dinner, ordered bruschetta; pepperoni pizza; a BYOP with chicken, garlic parm sauce, and mushrooms; and a side salad. The side salad consisted of crisp romaine, sliced cherry tomatoes, and croutons. I opted for the honey vinaigrette. The salad was tasty but not revolutionary. Next up came the bruschetta. It was advertised as incorporating hot honey so we decided to go on a flavor adventure. The cheese they use was very wet and lumpy goat cheese. The basil and cheese really overpowered the hot honey and the tomatoes were overcooked and whole cherry tomatoes. No balsamic that I noted. Definitely not a traditional bruschetta and also not one I would order again, but it wasn't terrible. My husband wouldn't stop raving about the marinara sauce on his pepperoni pizza. He also loved the airy, wood-fired crust. On my BYOpizza, I enjoyed the crust, as well. It was not overly tough nor overly thin and had a great taste. The mushrooms must have been sautéed in a way to make Julia Child proud. They were amazing and well complemented by the herb roasted chicken and garlic Parmesan sauce. Highly recommend this combo. Overall, it's a great place! Wish it was closer to home. Will definitely return!

Great updating to a historic building, preserving the stone wall inside and the brick with wrought iron supports out front.

I have to really appreciate and say a special thank you to the cashier working on 4/10 around 2-3pm, I asked her if they sold the T-shirt they wear as the uniform because it was so cute and she politely and apologetically said they didn't sell the shirt. After a while she came back and handed me a shirt to take home! I loved it and have worn it to several occasions and I tell people all about the excellent experience and service I received! I can't recommend this place enough it's delicious!! My husband had the chicken Alfredo pasta and I had the a slice of the Hawaiian pizza and supreme! The next day we ordered a margarita pizza and it was DELICIOUS!!

Our meal was preceded by an included order of the garlic knots with marinara sauce, which were hot and quite tasty. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the dish was very creamy (garlic cream sauce) with plenty of spinach. The chicken could have been a little more tender and a little more prevalent, and overall the dish lacked salt. Adding a dash of salt hit the mark. Our waitress was very attentive and the place was comfortable and was not crowded. I will continue to come back. It's nothing fancy but just good basic Italian food.

The dough, the sauce, the flavor--everything hit just right and took me back to my time in the Windy City. Yes, it was packed out the door, standing room only (Sunday + football), and you could tell the rush caught them off guard--but honestly, that just shows how popular this place is getting. The ambiance is a huge plus: beautiful brick building, cozy and full of character. This is the kind of place you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy. I'll definitely be back--next time dining in for the full experience. This place has all the makings of a go-to spot.

The menu is quite impressive with plenty of pizza, pasta, and appetizer options, so there's something for everyone. The highlight for me was building my own pizza. Ofc I built my own, a thin crust with chicken and Alfredo sauce, and it came out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made fresh, and they definitely don't hold back on toppings. We also tried the mozzarella sticks and calamari, which were both great. Service was friendly and attentive. I didn't get to try the thick crust pizza since it takes about 45 minutes, but that just gives me a reason to come back!
