So Good! We go there a couple of times a month. Pizza is excellent and the hot chocolate chip cookies are amazing! They are the size of a small pizza. We have had the chicken wings, garlic cheese bread, salads, and sandwiches. Everything was delicious! We often order pizzas and then pick them up. Always ready and so good. I highly recommend Lonestar Pizza. The owners and the people who work there are amazing. They are always very friendly. read more

Plan on Excellent pizza! Hot & delicious with fresh veggies. We ordered for pick up. Best dinner ever! read more

Lone Star Pizzeria - Pizzaaria - Pizza Near Me - Maypearl, Texas

The staff is lazy and leave zero regard to requests. The taco pizza is a sausage pizza with a salad dumped on it. The actual salad had no dressing. And the pizza that was requested to be well done and "crispy" as the owner said was practically pay doh. After waiting way more than "a few minutes" I only gave two stars because I like this town. Other than that.... read more

Our Mozzarella Sticks were not even cooked through and my two pizzas were barely cooked as crust was super doughy and not browned. I ordered pepperoni and hamburger pizzas and on both pizzas 2-3 pieces did not even have meat on them and barely any cheese. read more

This is some of the best pizza I've ever eaten, and I've eaten some really good pizza made from people who are Sicilian and Italian. The service is great. I call and order my food and then just go pick it up and it takes maybe 20 minutes max.. the ambience I have eaten here before not a lot to look at it's a pizza joint. The owner does make wreaths at Christmas and for certain holidays so that is really cute and some of them are really cute and not all that expensive.. OK onto the food. Cheeseburger pizza. Let me tell you if you've never had cheeseburger pizza then please order this, because you will literally be eating a cheeseburger in the shape of a pizza and it's delicious. Also, the taco pizza is great and the flatbread crust pepperoni pizza is also fantastic. The cinnamon bread sticks are wonderful and yes, they do taste good even when you have to reheat them, they're still good and they give you plenty of icing so that's good. The price is fair. It's clean and friendly, definitely give it a shot if you live out here towards the Maypearl area. read more

Lone Star Pizzeria - Small Caesar Salad - Pizza Near Me - Maypearl, Texas

The pizza was ok but....why are they wearing gloves if they touch Everything including their hair and face without changing gloves?

When we first moved to town everyone said how good their pizza was so we tried it. We paid over 50.00 dollars for 2 pizzas and some bread and were very disappointed read more

This is a great no frails pizza restaurant. You order at the counter and the bring the pie our when ready. Service was fast and friendly. They have about 8 standard pizzas, you can add or delete ingredients. We had the thin crust and it was amazing. No alcohol just standard fountain drinks and ice tea. They did have several large screen TVs and a large projection screen. I'll go back. The ambiance was prefect small twon country. read more

Great small-town pizza place. You order at the counter then they bring the pizza to your table. I'll elaborate when I return someday.

The pizza is great but the servers and food preparation team are not wearing masks properly and most are not covering any part of their mouth or nose. Socializing unmasked behind the counter. I would have taken pictures but most appear to be minors. read more

We are regular thin crust pizza eaters and this is our go to place. So what is so special about it? The taste of the dough and the fixins; try all of their pizzas. And the caesar salad is delicious! We've been to other places in Waxahachie and we simply cannot find another place better than this one. The customer service is great, we are regulars now. I see the reviews of being sanitary and I'm unsure of guidelines in Maypearl but it's common sense if you are frequently washing your hands you don't need gloves and if you are preparing food in restaurants hairnets should be worn. You want your customers to know their food in being prepared in a safe and trustworthy environment. read more

I am a pizza snob; nothing but NY thin or Chicago deep dish. This pizza may rank with Chucky Cheese! Soggy frozen crust, tiny diced cheese (see photos) that was barely melted. It looks like it was cooked in a broiler! Top was browned but all the cheese was not melted leaving the crust uncooked & doughy. And what pizza place doesn't offer fresh garlic as a topping??? Do NOT TRY THIS PLACE! read more

Love the pizza, thin crust is perfect. Never a long wait! It's the jewel of Maypearl!

This is the absolute best pizza place! They have perfected the crust and the service is top notch. Can't beat the price and the atmosphere is great for gatherings. A favorite for the entire family and we also make sure all of our out of town guest get a chance to try a slice! read more

Yum! Best crust ever. Great flavor. Sauce was tasty also. Prices are average, and the place is big! I can't comment on the buffet, it was over by the time we got there. The service was very friendly, and talked with each customer in the cafe to ensure all was well. Have a big screen, with old school theater seats that I can see kiddos enjoying. Very clean. No complaints. Will be a customer from now on. read more

We live in the middle of no where and this is the only pizza place that will deliver to us, so of course we had to order. BEST DECISION EVER! We all loved it and they can make pretty much any pizza you want, and it is all amazing. The crust is the best part, it is so fluffy and soft. Probably the best pizza I've ever had and will definitely buy from them again!! read more

Great pizza! Wonderful small town place! The crust is awesome and the pizza is always cooked perfect.

I was in town for a retreat with my girlfriends. We weren't sure if we were going to drive to Waxahachie for dinner. We decided to order pizza from Lone Star pizza. They are right down the street, friendly service, and the pizzas were ready quickly. It was pretty good pizza. We ordered thin crust and the amount of toppings on the pizzas were good. Great flavor!! I recommend! read more

Another response to Melanie G: Another show of disrespect in your hurtful response. I am giving facts about MY knowledge and multiple experiences (including this one) about an establishment that is dearly loved by people from all over. It sounds as if you're the one that got your feelings hurt because someone called out what wasn't true. I guess your vision is worse than you thought like you said because I know when your party left. It was after 1 pm while I was still in there enjoying my day and nibbling on a DELICIOUS grilled chicken salad. Sorry if my wording wasn't perfect for you!Maybe the reason someone felt the need to give the TWO PERSON STAFF a hand was because of the MESS your party left. I cannot IMAGINE going into an establishment and leaving it in the condition that it was. Spilled drinks, plates everywhere, food on the floor (maybe your guests were left hungry because they missed their mouths?) I apologize if your toes were stepped on, but I won't let a good establishment and honest, hard-working people be bad mouthed for no reason. All I can say is that I know the owners will do and did everything in their power to make experiences great. Melanie's review is the only negative review (aside from long deliver in a busy night ) they've gotten in almost 7 years. Maybe I get a little fired up defending the best pizza place I know, but obviously just about everyone else agrees and that speaks for itself. read more

We really enjoy pizza here. They are consistently good and have consistent hours... something you sometimes do not find in a small town. Crust is great with a hint of garlic! Staff is always friendly! read more
