I needed new speakers installed and I wanted soundproofing (dynamat) installed in my Prius C 2013. It was a bit of a pain contacting them through Yelp, but I called to get the answers I needed and they answered promptly. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the soundproofing, which does not seem easy to me. I did schedule an appointment and they seemed confused when I came in for my appointment, but they still took care of me right away and finished much earlier than they said they would. The speakers sound great and I definitely notice less noise while driving on the freeway. The Prius c was built to be light so unfortunately there's still some noise and it would cost a lot more to take care of the noise completely. I will say that recently I had a friend trying to yell something at me from right outside my car and their voice was completely muffled until I opened my window so they still did a really good job. I do still need to replace my head unit at some point and I am considering doing a self-install, but if I decide to have someone else do it, Simon's will be my first choice. read more

Dude hell yea! If you're like me and have a car that was built pre-MP3/Bluetooth phone connections, this is your spot. I sent a message via Yelp a few days in advance to get a quote on installing an MP3/audio auxiliary connector. Was quoted $150 flat, including parts. Based on my research this seemed fair. Best Buy quoted about $65 just for the installation, but it did not include the equipment, which they did not sell! They advised I would have to order it perhaps from Amazon or get it from another audio supply store. Without knowing exactly what I would need, I didn't want to take the risk and get the wrong items. After not wanting to screw things up, I went to Simons. Showed up on a Saturday afternoon a little after 12pm to get it installed. Was able to pull right up and before I even got comfy in the waiting chair, my car was done! Seriously in about 15 mins I was out. And my connector works great! I can finally play music from my phone through my car speakers and love it! The shop isn't the fanciest but whatever - they got the job done and I don't care for/need a fancy place for a quick 15-min service. Would recommend fully! read more

Customers BEWARE!!! After coming here several times for my own car Audio systems and my girlfriends and paying these guys so much money I am very disappointed. I've had several audio systems (4 different vehicles) over the years. Come to find out they used the crappiest, low quality wires when they wired and installed the subs and amp in my newest car. The sub kicked out and stopped working. I got it evaluated elsewhere. The tech mentioned that the wires were small and too weak to support the power required. Not only that but they gave me a REFURBISHED amp (NOT A NEW ONE as I PAID for!)
