TLDR; If you're looking for someone who knows how to put together an SQ system that sounds impeccable, this is the guy. He saved me after the previous installer just couldn't get it done. ------- If you look at my reviews, I'm not an easy customer. Many would rate me as a "Karen" if I'm quite honest... but Maor at Simon's was absolutely great from start to finish. Even when I got stressed out, he was calm and communicated well. He won't put bad gear in your car, so be prepared to spend some money, but he won't upsell you on stuff you don't need either and you get accurate, detailed prices on every component and aspect of installation. The overall installation price was maybe a bit over average, but I feel like I got an amazing deal for the amount of time and effort he put into every detail. So worth it. The service, care, quality of the install and the sound is night and day compared to what I got from my previous installer. It's not even in the same league. He spent a lot of time getting the gear right for my preferences and my EV's limitations before we even started. He gave me full breakdowns of different levels of sound insulation/deadening to choose from. He communicated in detail with pictures for updates and questions while he was doing the install. He worked with me on the tune and gave me multiple tunings to choose from, as well as other ways to help dial in the sound I wanted for my very diverse taste in music. There were no surprises and no problems when I picked it up and paid. Just pure joy listening to my new system. The system sounds great at all volumes with all music. I'm not an audiophile (and neither are 99% of the other people who claim to be)... but I do have a good ear, and I love me some clear, deep, bone shaking bass that doesn't overpower the reset of the music. These guys installed a whole new car sound system for me. Always wanted a better system but it got urgent when some of my current speakers started going out. Maor made an honest (and specific - other places just gave a price without model numbers or anything) plan based around my budget to get the most out of it. Ended with all Kenwood speakers and sub, new JBL head unit with wireless Car Play, along with door and trunk deadening to eliminate vibrations (not initially in the plan, but after the first listen I wanted it and it made a WORLD of difference). I want to give a big shout out to Simon and his son Maor(who did the set up of my cars audio system). Long story short,i came into upgrading my cars stock audio system without any prior knowledge of car audio and went with a guy who somehow made my sound system worse after dropping a significant amount of money on some new speakers and an amp. Looking to get help to fix it, I ended up messaging with Maor who asked me to come by and check out what was going on. For what I wanted in sound, Maor gave me an honest answer and options on how to get the system I wanted. I was hesitant at first, but took the plunge and decided to go with his suggestion that included a DSP amp and whole new set of speakers for mid/high/lows and sound deadening. Man, after about 2 months of coming in and slowly building this system, I can honestly say that I am extremely happy with how it turned out. I gave Maor an idea of what type of sound I wanted and he eventually got it there 100%. He dedicated all his day to tuning my system to exactly where I wanted it and kept me updated through the day on how things were going. He also upgraded some of speakers for free, which he didn't need to do. Maor made me realize that I'm somewhat of a audiophile, and what I wanted wouldn't be cheap, but his dad and him never pushed me to pay beyond what I was comfortable with and I think that is something that is hard to come by these days with small business. The shop is very let's say vintage haha but don't let looks deceive you they do great work here and at a super reasonable price. I took in my new Bentley Bentayga even though it's a $300k car, it has Honda Covid stock speakers from China in it. Maor works on the high end vehicles and really took a considerable amount of time to assess what the best output can be. He spent countless hours on this vehicle fine tuning every aspect. We went with Audison Prima door speakers, audison Voce tweeters, a 10 inch HERTZ sub with audison amplifiers and a Zen system. I used a 10 inch subwoofer as I did not want to compromise trunk space. The system is night and day better, Maor is also very patient as I took the car in two more times just to fine-tune the base and treble, he never got annoyed and wanted to make sure the car audio was perfect before giving me the vehicle. Unfortunately, my experience at Simon's was disappointing. I brought my car in to have Apple CarPlay installed, but they were unable to get the system to work properly. I left with a partially installed setup--no functioning music--and was told that if I wanted them to try again, I'd need to pay even more. No guarantee, just more charges. That didn't sit right with me, so I took my car to another shop. They completed the installation quickly and flawlessly--and everything works perfectly now. I'm leaving this review not out of malice, but to help others avoid a costly detour. I wish it had worked out with Simon's, but I can't recommend them based on my experience. read more

I had some troubles with my car stereo and as a girl I was a bit worried going in to ask for help since I didn't want to get taken advantage of but both Simon and his son were honest and straight up with me. I brought my car in because I had blown out my front left-dash and front left-door speakers. They let me know the speakers come in pairs, so I'd need all 4 units in the front replaced. I told them that was fine as long as the speakers sounded better than before - and they do! It was a really great value to get them replaced; I was expecting to pay more for that + labor. It took a little over an hour to replace the four speakers and the sound is much better than before, which I'm very pleased with since I mentioned to them that I work in music. At first there was a rattle because of a loose piece, but they worked to quickly identify and fix the issue. They worked with me to make sure I was happy with my speakers, which I appreciate. Very happy with my overall experience here and plan to come back to eventually get dash cams installed and upgrade my overall Soundsystem with subwoofers. read more

After seeing my car, they revised my quote DOWN, refused to upsell me on the head unit ("for what you want, this is the right unit. you can pay more, but you won't get more for that money.") and then installed it on the spot, in less than two hours. highly recommended. read more

They actually helped me out of 2 bs situations today; quickly, efficiently and professionally. First off, I got my truck back from transmission service and the radio was working, but not putting out sound. I have no idea how the transmission service would've jacked up my radio, and I was getting ready to yank it out of the dash assuming they had pulled a wire out, but figured I'd stop by and have Simon's look into it and they immediately found that the transmission guys had left a wire hanging loose in the engine bay, that should've been attached to the battery. Quick fix. Then, because my truck had greasy handprints all over it from the transmission work, I took it to be detailed and when I left the car wash my radio was cutting in and out; turns out that they had gotten water into my amplifier and ruined that, there by costing me $250 for a new amplifier. (I'll have to fight that fight later), but Simon's got me hooked up with a new amplifier super fast at the end of their day. read more
