We did Easter brunch. A good variety of items, from cold seafood and shellfish to prime rib. The smoked salmon was a nice touch. They had an omelet station and a fine selection of desserts. I prefer hot shellfish, and thought it was a bit on the pricey side. Service was good, as well as the view of the fireplace during our meal.

Great cocktails and amazing chicken dinner Nice large salad, great chicken , yummy potatoes with smoked cheddar, braised heirloom carrots and a fudgey chocolate torte. Great atmosphere and excellent service.

starting off a week long staycation strong! I brought my family up and we stayed the night at the Homestead. I was debating on where to go for dinner and decided it was destiny for us to eat at Simons! The menu included Schnitzel (my all time favorite meal) and butternut squash ravioli (a special dish we were introduced to on our honeymoon!) the food was spectacular! The views incredible! The service was so special! They brought the kids activities to keep them entertained. Live music really set the mood for a terrific evening! To top it all off they brought us a delicious cheesecake for our anniversary! Thanks to the culinary team that made this night so special! We will be back for a date night for sure!

I had a great experience here. My friends were doing the crater and I needed to get some work done, so they let me sit in the comfy chairs by the fireplace. We moved into the restaurant when I met my friends for lunch. It's a pretty space and our server was so nice. We were the only people sitting in there the whole time. I ended up getting a call I had to take and she brought my drink refill out to me by the fireplace and started to bring my hamburger out to me too, but then my call ended. My friend who ordered the biscuits and gravy didn't love it, but I have to get five stars for the service! I didn't catch the servers name, but it said Wesley B on the receipt. It was a woman though, so not sure if that's right. It was $26 for a Diet Coke and hamburger.

This restaurant is tucked away just past the registration desk of the hotel lobby. With no signage, it would be easy to miss it. But with a host kiosk up front, my wife and I approached and waited for someone to come by. We saw a couple staff members glance our way and then walk the other direction. Finally, a young lady appeared from the back, looked at us silently, and then after an awkward pause asked "table for two?" without any further conversation or greeting. She picked up a couple menus and turned around. We assumed to follow her. After being seated she mumbled something about our server and walked away. Although off to a rough start, we were optimistic about the menu-several dishes looked really good. Our server came and greeted us and was much more friendly than the host. She kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly. We both ordered chicken and both enjoyed our meals. I finished off my entire chicken fried chicken. The vibe of this place is really odd. There's a sitting area with a big chandelier and ornate moldings on the walls and then an adjoining room has a more rustic, cabin-like motif. It's like they started a renovation and stopped midway through. Overall, food was good. Service and ambience were mediocre. I was quick to finish my meal and leave; I didn't feel like just hanging around and enjoying the experience.

$8.50 for this SIP of Maker's!!?? AND I'm forced to order these disgusting, under-seasoned Cheese Curd Farts with my "drink".

Places like this are perfect for folks who are have no sense of smell, taste, or vision. I just wanna post up at the bar and have a drink. Too much to ask out here in Homestead: force me to order your dog food and then take me over the coals for a tablespoon of Maker's for $8:50!? Disgraceful. Dishonest. Shame on you!

    BLT sandwich

Was pleasantly surmised with this restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient during a lunch rush. I ordered the BLT with French Fries. This sandwich was loaded with Delicious crispy bacon, garden fresh tomatoes, crispy lettuce and just the perfect amount of avocado and 3 slices of yummy lightly toasted bread. Will definitely return!

Went here during my honeymoon with my Beautiful Bride, service wasn't the best and food was ok. Not worth the price of the food.

But the service was awful! We walked in around 2 or so for lunch on a Monday. It was crowded. Several staff walked past us waiting at the counter for a seat and didn't say a peep to us. Finally a woman appeared and said she'd be with us shortly. She came back and when it asked if we could sit on the patio she told me it was closed because in the morning it had been cold. It was in the 70's at 2pm?! She sat us at a table next to a support beam and it felt very tight. Chairs were not very comfortable and the table was wobbly. It was very warm in the restaurant and very loud. We sat for 15-20 minute without a single person acknowledging us. I was about to get up and leave when finally a waitress came for our order. My husband enjoyed his Back 40 burger commenting on how juicy it was but expected more flavor. I ordered a Garden salad which was really good. Carrots were huge, tomatoes were yummy and like I said earlier the greens were so crisp and so fresh. My daughter had the chicken tenders and seriously the chicken was so tender and tasted fresh unlike grocery store chicken. The views are amazing!

It has this old world feel to it, like it's been around since the 1900's. Although it isn't that old. Several TV's available to watch sports. Pub food at its finest. I enjoyed my Club Sammy - it was filled with meat and I could barely get through half of it! The fries- superb! Best fries I've had in a long time. Although there is a bar there is also family seating, which is super nice for our family. I got the chili burger, I'd be torn between getting it again or trying something else. It was really good, I wouldn't be mad at having it again. Our waitress was super friendly, it wasn't particularly busy when we were there so she had plenty of time to check on us. I could definitely see this place getting busier later in the evening. This is a nice in between of what is offered for food around here. Either fast food or restaurants trying to be too high end. Stop trying to make Heber Park City. Some more "normal" restaurants for people who want a sit down meal but one that doesn't cost $200. All in all it was a great experience and we will be back!

That wasn't the case and I don't think this will be a place I could stomach again. Pros: the front seating area is pretty cute and gets you excited. It is seat yourself so see an open table and you can grab it. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Cons: #1 is the food. It was almost close to terrible. My partner ordered the French toast which could be easily made at home. Just basic eggs and Walmart brand bread. No seasoning, nothing. I ordered the sausage and eggs with hash browns. The sausage was a burger size patty. Kinda chewy and a different flavor to it. Not awful but definitely not great. The kicker came with the hashbrowns. They were TERRIBLE. They are your Great Value brand hash brown patties with no seasoning, no taste, crunchy and almost unable to stomach them. I think they took 3 patties and toasted them then tried to crumble them up to resemble restaurant style hash browns. Finally our order was basic. Eggs, sausage and toast. It took over 20 minutes to even get us our underwhelming food and the restaurant wasn't even full. I think this place may have been good at one point but that is long gone. This was a one and done for us. If you're hungry there are much better options - even McDonald's!

We rented an Alpenglobe, which costs an additional $35 for the weekdays and $50 for the weekend. It's one of those temperature controlled outdoor bubble structures that has a cute chandelier inside. I had the Quattro Formaggi pizza with pepperoni added, which tasted amazing. My husband loved his Lasagna, which matched the description of "Meaty and American." My daughter scarfed down her spaghetti and garlic bread. We paired our meal with a bottle of Pino Grigio. My husband loved his Tirimisu as well, and my daughter got the largest "small" portion of ice cream that I've ever seen. Our meal came out to around $150 before tip, which wasn't bad for all the food we ordered. We left with a few boxes of leftovers. We'll be back.

One unique feature of this restaurant is the option (when available) to dine inside a yurt (some call it a "snow globe") for an additional $35. I'm honestly glad I chose not to do that. The food was average at best, and I would have been disappointed if I had paid extra for the yurt experience on top of it. As for the food, the Caesar salad was terrible! It barely qualified as a Caesar--yes, it had romaine lettuce, but the plate and salad were warm, it included tomatoes and onions (which don't belong in a traditional Caesar), and the dressing tasted like it came straight from a bottle. The mac and cheese, meatballs, and pizza were all just average as well.
