Simon's Hot Dog was a great way to end our trip in AZ. When it's on Yelp's top 100, there must be something special there! We tried a variety of hot dogs and I could easily pick any one of them with any combination of hot dog (beef, chorizo) as well. Order: -Colombian: Really good if you like a hot dog with a sweeter end because it has pineapple. The crushed potato chips add a different layer of texture. I would say this was my favorite out of all of them. -Hola Amigo: Interesting combo with the avocado, cream cheese, and banana pepper, but it worked! The creaminess of the avocado brought out the flavor profile. -Wunderhund (Wonderdog): You literally can't go wrong with a hot dog with bacon bites on the top. -Sonoran: Loved the refried beans on the hot dog. It again had the bacon so the flavors were great. I wish my stomach had the capacity to sample every hot dog. You honestly can't go wrong with any hot dog! By the dinner time, they had ran out of the alfajores :(. But this gives us more of a reason to visit next time! read more

Love this spot! My husband and I came in for lunch, took to go, and enjoyed our experience! The woman who helped us, I think she was the owner, let us taste the filling of the Colombian cookies before we picked. Absolutely love that they have vegan and vegetarian options, not sure how they're stored though, but nonetheless it's awesome. This place is great and I live way too close to it. I am normally just an all beef hotdog with ketchup only kind of girl, but I tried their signature Colombian hotdog and it was really delicious. Nothing too overpowering. Great texture. I will be back again. Pineapple belongs on hotdogs. I also got alfajores and empanadas. I didn't like the empanadas that much. This was the best hotdog I've ever eaten. The beef dog itself is girthier than your standard weiner. It's juicy, salty and cooked just enough. The bun itself tasted more like a potato roll. The space was off the main road lf Old Town. A little hidden in industrial looking buildings and offices, you wouldn't expect a restaurant. We came a bit after the lunch hour and it were probably about 4 other parties. We ordered the vegan hola amigo hot dog, vegan mac, and vegan empanadas. I opted the sausage route, but they also offer the "traditional" vegan dog. It was a good blend of flavors. The empanadas and the mac were SO delicious. Mac was creamy and perfect and for that alone, I would be back. They even offered vegan dulce de leche cookies! Which we had and loved.
