It was dry and tasted like it sat in the refrigerator for days or weeks. The cookie was soft and crumbled when trying to pick it up. The fact that the cookie was not crunchy like its intended texture but fascinatingly softer than the actual cheesecake says everything. I believe they sold me an old piece of cheesecake. This cheesecake should have been thrown out and not served to any customer. I paid $7-$8 dollars for a tiny brick-like texture of a cheesecake. I'm very disappointed and I would go back for a refund but I don't want to waste gas money. The worse piece of cheesecake I've ever tasted.

They were incredibly thorough with all of their ingredients and allergens. They make everything from scratch, but I was not able to have any of the desserts since they were all made with soy flour, but they went above and beyond, helping me choose a lunch and checking ingredient information for everything. They were so incredibly kind and patient and did not make me feel like a burden at all by asking questions. I ended up going with the grilled ham cheese and tomato sandwich on ciabatta with a cheddar cheese, and they give you a few choices for sides. I went with the orange slices and I also picked up a cup of coffee - their chocolate hazelnut coffee with cream and sugar. They even came back a few minutes later because they saw I had a peanut allergy and just wanted to make sure that hazelnut was safe for me as well. They were so sweet. Every person there was really accommodating and when I first walked in, they were helping a customer choose a cake for their daughter's birthday, which seemed to be taking a while, but they were patient and kind with her as well. This is a family owned operation and they really put their heart and soul and everything. The spot itself is just tucked into a shopping center and the interior is cozy and cute. They have a wide variety of desserts and pastries, along with sandwiches, breakfast options and drinks. Everything smelled and looked amazing. I wish I had been able to try a dessert, and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in the area that is able to eat their desserts. Their cakes looked so good. I really enjoyed my sandwich. It was so filling and had a really good flavor! The tomato just made the ham pop and the orange slices were really refreshing. I don't usually go with fruit as a side, but I think I need to start doing that more often! Their coffee was really good too. The chocolate hazelnut flavor was not overpowering, but had a nice subtle flavor. I would absolutely be back.

Baltimore Review 3/Many: I was at this historical market a few days ago while exploring Baltimore and going to a nearby convention, with this spot being pretty close to our not-so-good La Quinta Downtown hotel. After looking around, I eventually got some snacks from here, and I am happy I made that choice. They're mostly known for their namesake cookies, but since I'm not the biggest fan of either black-and-white cookies or chocolate frosting, I went with some Apple Fritters. The fritters were 3 for $5, which was a nice deal. They were large, not overly sweet, soft, had a light cinnamon flavor, and had plenty of apple filling. In short, they were very tasty and made a good snack throughout the short trip. Another person liked their cake donuts, and I concur, based on the piece of the blueberry cake donut I tried. The woman working there was also friendly. The reviews seem pretty mixed here, but I liked the fritter and the price was reasonable.

We tried the red velvet, black bottom, birthday cake, and carrot cake. All four were enjoyable. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give the cupcakes a 5.6. For my personal taste, the batter could have been a little sweeter, and I felt the frosting could have used just about a tablespoon more butter for a richer flavor.
