My husband is wheelchair bound, has Parkinsons, and was there to get an MRI. He waited in the lobby, and someone came out and called his name. After seeing him struggle to move his wheelchair, the lazy employee never offered assistance. My husband wheeled himself all the way down the hall, into the changing room and into the MRI room. Not one single staff member offered help!!! He was not asked what music he wanted to listen to during the MRI. I was waiting in the lobby for him to be brought out. I heard my name screamed from the back hallway, and I ran to the door. He said the door was too heavy for him to open and wheel himself out to the lobby. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THESE INHUMANE PEOPLE!!!!! The staff, from desk to exam room, makes me feel like they all care about this specialty of women's health.

They are also disorganized, do not have any online scheduling options and do not communicate well and care is impersonal. It is also difficult to get in to see them.

None of their online services will work for me because they have an incorrect birthdate for me, even after I have supposedly had them fix it twice. They texted and told me I had to reschedule my appointment. When I called to do so (because I can't do it online) I had to wait then give all the info I already just gave when scheduling the first time like insurance info and so forth. Then they tried to schedule me in the wrong city, 2 hours away. They could not give me an answer as to why my appointment wasn't able to be honored at the date and time I originally scheduled it. The woman was unfriendly and hard to understand. I hope that the experience in the office, whenever that ever happens, is better than what I have experienced so far.

They did an IV iodine and she immediately went into cardiac arrest! They called EMS who did CPR on her for 12 min and finally got a pulse before arriving at the hospital. NO ONE CALLED HER EMERGENCY CONTACT! Who is actually my 81 year old father!! He spent 5 hours searching for her, calling her primary, the hospitals and finally found her. She was on life support!! Imagine this, your mom goes to the doctor, almost dies, no one is called and by the time he figures out where she is he can't drive to see her because it's dark outside! He had to wait until the morning to see his wife. Now also imagine IF she did pass away. Imagine how SHOCKED my father could have been. He could have had a heart attack. They still have her belongings. They never gave them to the EMS so she arrived without a wallet, purse or way to identity her! Yesterday my father had to retrieve her car which was still in their parking lot. He is 81! Luckily they had an extra set of keys. However her phone, purse, wallet are STILL INSIDE THE OFFICE AND NOT ONE PERSON HAS CALLED TO GIVE HER BELONGINGS. This is on top of NOT CALLING EMERGENCY CONTACT AFTER SHE WAS TAKEN AWAY IN AN AMBULANCE! What about the iodine? What kind of records do you have that prove she isn't allergic prior to administering? So many questions and ZERO communication or concern! Run fast away from this place!

Date of service: 2/9/2026, 9 am. Despite having a bit of scanxiety, this has been a positive environment. I feel seen and respected, unlike another imaging group I've seen in Tucson. As a breast cancer patient who will be being scanned on the regular for recurrence, I was anxious about this 1 year scan. Ultimately, I feel very good about the treatment & quality of care. If you know where the Trader Joe's is on Campbell, go ahead and turn into their parking lot and go to the back right where you'll see a separate building where Banner Advanced Imaging is located. Good parking close to front door. TLDR: Quality, caring staff. Excellent facility. Highly recommend. Disability accessible throughout.

I didn't realize I was claustrophobic until I was being sent head first into an MRI machine. I…read morestarted panicking and the tech pulled me out. We tried again, but this time it was worse. She recommended finding an open MRI place and asking for a new referral to one of those locations. A quick Google search pulled up Advanced Open MRI of Tucson. I got all the needed calls made and referral was good to go. I spoke with Adam by phone and he was reassuring that once my appointment time came, I would be fine. He also assured me I could go in feet first and I appreciated that. On my appointment day, it was Adam who would be doing the scans. He was again reassuring that everything would be fine and checked on me immediately following each scan. The fact I could turn my head side to side was also a big help. I'd looked online and wasn't sure even open MRI would be for me because in the other one, but turning my head made all the difference seeing it was open. He played music of my choice and it's obvious he genuinely tries to make the patient comfortable. I was given a disc of the images and sent on my way. I highly recommend this place to anyone at all who suffers from claustrophobia and needs an MRI. They really want you to be at ease and that makes a world of difference. My last scans were sitting upright 10yrs ago, but that's not available in Tucson. This is definitely a great other option!
