BEWARE-- USE CAUTION! I needed to have two MRI's done a CT and XRay with insurance they quoted me $1,285.00 without insurance and depending who I spoke with I got six different prices. Some with a special of the month, one time I called from a landline and asked for a cost telling them I had no insurance at all, they told me about the special and I asked what's the price without the special if I just walked in off of the street and I got around $600 bucks. Then I asked to talk to a manager because the lady I spoke with you could tell didn't care at all Mrs. Gomez so the manager calls me a couple of days after and I explained everything and she gave me a price of $625.00 but then tells me insurance may do some of these for free and she would call me back in a day or two. I guess I fell off of her to do list....... find another company they don't have their stuff together at all. read more

Simon Med is horrible. Read the reviews before you decide to go here. They overcharge you up front and keep your money. I have made several calls to billing and even wrote a letter to the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sadegi, with no response. I finally filed a complaint with the BBB stating I am due a refund. They responded that my account has been removed from patient responsibility and is being appealed with insurance. Insurance processed the claims in totality within 2 weeks of my visit. There is absolutely nothing to appeal. It's a delay tactic. It's obvious they don't know the difference between a refund and patient responsibility. Forget asking to speak to a supervisor. They are banking on people not looking at their EOBs and matching them up with what was paid on date of service. These people are crooks. I am a professional coder and biller. I have worked in healthcare my entire life. Trust me...don't go here. If you do, hire someone to track your payments and bills. They will steal you blind and make every excuse not to refund your money. Zero stars for me. I have now filed a complaint with my insurance company. BEWARE!!! read more

What a disaster! I showed way early to get my paperwork done and still waited two hours past my appt time while I watch others come and go. I honestly think they forgot about me. The place was a mess as well. One week later my doc still had to call for the results. No one working there wanted to be there. They seemed to have the phrase, "Sorry for the inconvenience (wait)" down to a "T". If you have a choice go somewhere else for your imaging! read more

Booked a CT Scan over 2 weeks before my appointment. My doctor sent in the file and notes before I even scheduled my appointment. My insurance is incredible and approves anything we have in days. After 14 business days, the day before my appointment SimonMed calls me to tell me they don't have approval on my order, and it was the doctors fault, when in fact they never sent in my file at Simon to get approved. So after waiting over 2 weeks for a scan and having my doctors office furiously try to do the job of SimonMed, they still wouldn't allow me to get scanned on my scheduled appt. time. Their staff is completely incompetent, their front desk staff is awful and crass, and not even willing to help. This place is a disaster and should be avoided at all costs. Horrible horrible horrible!!! My doctor sent my order for a biopsy of the lump in my breast. Waited 3 days no call so I reached out was told I needed to get the cd and report and their radiologist will decide if I i need it. Explained my daughter 2 months prior had a double mastectomy for breast cancer. No conceRns by 9 am the very next day handed alll docs needed. Waited another 6 days no call I call today and am told with an attitude it's my fault they are waiting for my documents. I went into the place they made me feel like I was bothering them. A girl in the corner had them on a pile. No apology just here. What a joke. This place has grown to big to care about the patients. Never again! Worst SimonMed I've never been to. Horrible customer service. Waited in the lobby for an hour with no place to sit just for them to call me back and tell me that I needed to reschedule my appointment. Some guy in the waiting room was also there for two hours before someone called him up. And another woman who flew from OUT OF STATE for her appointment and when she went to check it they told her that the machine they needed for her appointment broke down and no one even bothered to call her and let her know. It's like a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off. Completely unprofessional and ridiculous. read more

Immediately following my review, I was contacted by a customer service rep. When I emailed her, she forwarded my issue to a "billing lead" who wrote me 3 days later assuring me she had expedited my refund and gave me a non-sensical explanation of why they collect the insurance company's payment responsibility from the patient instead of just the patient's responsibility. Eight days later, when the refund still hadn't been received, I contacted the billing lead to advise her of the situation. Without receiving a response after five days, I contacted the SimonMed via phone and spoke to a different supervisor. I was advised that the aforementioned billing lead had not actually submitted the refund request until one day after I contacted her the second time; Nine days after she had assured me that she had expedited my refund. Now I'm told I need to wait 3-5 business days after that that date before the refund will be processed. Do not go to SimonMed Imaging for any reason. Go somewhere else unless you want to pay upfront and spend months trying to get refunded. read more

Incredibly long wait times the 4 times I have gone. People constantly flowed through and were told they had a 2 hour wait. (I had an hour and half wait) Employees were friendly which I am great full for. But the worst thing is that you can not schedule X-ray appointments. Which is incredibly frustrating because so many people need X-rays. I believe fixing that issue will result in a much better experience for many future customers. read more

This place sucks. I called 3 times to schedule my appointment, was on the phone with their idiot schedulers for over an hour to book a CT SCAN AND AND X-RAY. I don't know why the X-ray easy never scheduled, but when I finally got to the Greenfield location today, I was told there wasn't a diagnosis code and my exam would have to be rescheduled. If i could, this would be ZERO STARS, even before i go in. This is the worst communication and sinage for a business I have ever seen. The building has a large sign facing the intersection. You turn in and 2 signs direct you to the office. Both of which are empty. After 2 attempts of moving my Injured wife, a person in another office said they are across the parking lot in a other building. Too far to walk, and parked in the wrong place. What an inconvenience, no signs saying they moved, no arrows, nothing. Why would anyone change an entire computer system over the weekend, when the facility has appointments booked back to back all day long. There were 18 people standing in line at 10:45 AM for appointments. I completed ALL of my paperwork on line per their request and still have to fill out the same paperwork in person. My appointment is now behind schedule.... and yes we all have other things lined up in our agendas for the day... and NO it doesn't include meeting someone for lunch. My time is as valuable as this clinics. Management should know better then to putting a new computer system in place in the middle of a busy season. read more

This place couldn't be more disappointing to me. It been a sad sequence of errors and incompetence and even statements that completely contradict what my Dr. told me. On day one, I got an x-ray which was prerequisite to insurance authorizing an MRI. SimonMed said the results would be forwarded in 3-5 days. They didn't follow through. Only after I called, and only after telling them I wouldn't accept ANOTHER 3-5 day delay did they send the results. The MRI was finally scheduled for a morning appointment (a week-long wait). However, just minutes before my scheduled time, I received a call that my appt had been moved to the afternoon and at another location. When I arrived at the new location they had clearly mixed my medical history with another patient's. My name and SS was on the top of the paperwork, but the procedure and patient history was for someone else. Consequently, SimonMed rescheduled me with yet another week-long wait to get the MRI. Once again, the results were never forwarded to the Dr. even after repeated requests my Dr. office to expedite the results. SimonMed said they never received the expedite requests from my Dr. and that I'd have to come back in 3-5 days... a standard response when SimonMed doesn't want to deal with the issues they created. Ultimately, I had to personally go to SimonMed and demand the results over the counter. An hour later I finally got them. I would never recommend SimonMed on 1425 S Greenfield. If you have a choice, try another office. I believe my negative experiences at this office are not unique. I UPDATE: It's been three months since I left a negative review at this place. No one has reached out to see if they could have somehow made it better. No one has apologized for the errors. From all the other negative reviews , it appears this particular SimonMed is comfortable just taking the money and leaving the poor customer experiences at status quo. read more

I have been going to Simon Med for years but had to use this location for specific reasons for an mri. My insurance has never changed since 2017 and I have used SM a lot over the years. Despite giving them both my insurance card information written on the paperwork and showing them the physical cards they still screwed it up. I have not been a fan of SM for several years for other facility reasons but billing was never one of them. I prefer to use EVDI which is no Banner Imaging. What a hassle dealing with this as I had to prove they were wrong and had to make 3 phone calls to figure it out. It was this location from what I was told that entered the wrong insurance plan. How? 3 experiences with 2 different people. All 3 with the same outcomes and same exact problem. 1. Dr. authorization sent to SimonMed 2. Appointment scheduled with SimonMed 3. Appointment canceled the day before because of no insurance authorization received from insurance company. 3. Called insurance company and found out the paperwork was received from SimonMed 2 days prior to appointment. There was no problem and it was approved they just didn't get it in time to approve it before the appointment. Had SimonMed sent the paperwork on time, the appointment would not have to be rescheduled. This happened 2 times with my husbands MRI and it took 4 weeks to actually get it done. It happened again with his CT Scan yesterday. The same thing, the insurance company got the paperwork on Friday afternoon, with a Tuesday appointment so did not have a chance to approve it on time. They cancelled the appointment. So I called SimonMed, waited on hold for 45m for authorizations, while on hold. I called on a second phone and asked how long the phone wait-time was for authorizations, she asked me to hold and came back and said 12 min. I explained my situation and she said I'm sorry, I'll be happy to transfer you back. I asked for a manager and was told there was no one I could take with at all my only option was to be transferred back to Authorizations. I was transferred back and hung up after 35m. My daughter is now having the same experience. SimonMed has canceled her appointment 3 weeks in a row saying the insurance company has not authorized the scan. We called the insurance company, they have not yet received anything from SimonMed at ALL. Banner Imaging is where we will go. I called explained my situation and in 2 hours we are scheduled and insurance authorized. My daughter explained her situation to her Dr. and was told that this is not the first time. He said they are great for straight up X-Rays, but if you need something more complicated, they just can't get it together. read more

The worst service on the planet. I was told to be at the facility at 9:30 am. I arrived at 9:20 am. My appointment was at 9:30 am. I was called back for my procedure at 11:07 am. My procedure lasted 8 minutes. I was done at 11:15 am. Unacceptable. There is more. When I arrived, the office was not crowed. There were 4 people behind the desk. 2 of those people were engaging in a conversation and the other 2 were listening. I was not acknowledged right away. Moving forward, I complete the 3 forms given to me. Again, no customers were at the front desk and the employee that was directly in front of me did not acknowledge me again so I put the clipboard and the documents on the desk. I really don't understand the negative reviews. My experience yesterday was excellent. Was told this is the only East Valley location that does biopsies. After an efficiently/quickly done ultrasound, saw the quite cordial radiologist, who said based on the results, the biopsy wasn't necessary. People working there all seemed to really care about me. Initial paperwork was very minimal. All staff I dealt with were extremely courteous and friendly. I would not hesitate at all to return for other tests. read more

Horrible place. Walked in 15 mins early only to be told my appointment was running an hour behind. The waiting room was packed with at least 20-25 elderly people (55+ years old) with NO social distancing whatsoever ever. (Hey SimonMed, remember that thing called COVID-19??? That especially targets the elderly??) Outside there were an additional 10 people waiting to get their names called. This company clearly cares more about OVER booking patients to collect their insurance money than their actual health needs. I ended up leaving 30 mins into my wait time. I will NOT be back. Since I'm not familiar with how the stars rating fully works and out of fear of this location being seen as top tier as a business, I opted for 1 star. As a business, plainly put - they are horrible, hence the 1 star. I accompanied a friend recently to an appt and experienced first hand what bad management looks like! The wait time is ridiculous! There has to be a better system and communication between doctors offices and SimonMed. There appears to be alot of techs, so not sure why the wait times are so long. I overheard someone who, rightfully so, was infuriated because they had taken off work only to be told he couldnt be seen since they didn't have the correct machine and the location he had to go to was far for him. If I'm rating the front desk workers, then its 3-5 stars (depending on which young lady you encounter). There was one young lady that stood out to us and from what we saw, could probably run the entire location. After some eavesdropping and my own research, I found that her name is Diamond! I was so impressed with how knowledgeable and efficient she was that I was very surprised to find out she wasnt the manager! Especially since we noticed the other girls regularly asking her questions. Since my friend and I were waiting for a long time (even though we had an appt), we had ample time to people watch and make our assessment. As a business owner myself, I easily recognize a leader when I see one and Diamond at the front desk is a gem! I'm blaming the 1 star rating completely on management and not the workers because the workers didn't hire and train themselves. It would probably benefit SimonMed owners/stakeholders to make frequent unannounced visits to their sites for quality assurance purposes, especially given the numerous negative ratings they receive. read more

SimonMed Baywood is the worst, most unprofessional medical facility I have ever been to. If I could give it a zero, I would.I was sent there for imaging of my foot. It began with the woman who made the appointment. She didn't give me an appointment for contrast. The technician screwed up the imaging and I had to go back. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn't have one because there weren't any complete images. Huh??? They screwed up the imaging the second time. Now, I'm going to EVDI and trying to get someone form the Compliance Department to call me back so I can get a refund to pay to go to a place that actually can do their job competently. In the meantime I am still walking around in pain and it has been over a month with no diagnosis. UNBELIEVABLE! How does this place stay in business?? I sure wish I had read the reviews before I went to this location. The waiting room is filthy the floor practically needs a rake to clean up the debris, all the baseboards are filthy the front of the reception desk is filthy the walls are chipped paint the windows are filthy. Especially behind the water cooler. The mammo technician Ashley, was rude condescending very rough and when I complained of it being painful her response was well I have to get it tight but if you want me to cancel this I will in a very condescending angry way using my first name chastising me for complaining of pain. I noticed the cup that she was using on the machine for the x-ray was full of debris I asked if that was cleaned and she said that's not the part that touches you. OMG and today January 27 it only got worse. I made appointments for the same location on the same day for two different tests. I didn't want to go back here but I didn't want to have to reschedule this test so I went and arrived and was told that my appointment was not at that location it was at 20 miles away. I told the tech I would never have agreed to a location 20 miles away from here absolutely crazy. I'm done with Simon med. Slowest staff in the world. If your appointment is at 9am, be prepared to show up at 8am to get checked in on time. The staff have no motivation to move fast or get you into your appointment on time. I went to the Phoenix location for an ultrasound to rule out an ovarian cyst. This is already a terrifying thing for a women so I brought my fiance with me. I had to drink a liter of water and then hold my bladder---to my dismay they were already 30 minutes behind at 8 am. Then the tech wasn't going to let my fiance come with me because the room was in the women's center. I insisted and she seemed really put out, rolling her eyes, but agreed. During our test she told us all about her horrible divorce and lack of child support payments and then even asked my fiance how much money he makes! Completely inappropriate. I then called to get a copy of my records to take to a physician. I picked up the disc a few days later only to find that the disc was blank with no files on it. So I called to get another copy made and encountered nothing but attitude from the girl on the phone, as though I had intentionally erased the disc or something. Next, my doctor had to call the radiologist at SimonMed to clarify the results. Turns out that the report he had written was not accurate and that he had reported normal findings when this wasn't the case. My doctor said that she would never send me there again. If you have a choice, ask your doctor to send you somewhere else. I'm an RN, I know the system well and even I found it full of roadblocks. If you're already stressed facing a medical issue, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. read more

Friendly staff, fast check in, and they managed to begin my scan before my appointment since I arrived early (they were ahead of schedule.) They can offer you an evening appointment in case you can't get away from work during the day. SimonMed is also great about quickly providing you with a copy of your previous images when you need it. read more

Terrible place. We were told they were running about about a 1/2 late when we arrived for a 1230 appt. At 2 we checked to see what the hold up was and were told that they were running about 45 minutes late. Not sure how the running late got worse. Staff is rude and not very competent. Really disappointing clinic. First, the scheduler gave me the wrong prep information. She said no coffee or soda - which was not necessary. I need my coffee in the morning - and went without for no reason. Second, the clinic appeared dirty and old. The room I was in had dirty floor and was very dusty. The tech suggested I put my close on a chair I didn't want to touch. Third, the bathroom was out of soap. I won't be going back in the future. read more
