Do not use this imaging company. The woman tech and the older lady at the desk are truly horrible rude people to deal with. I was to have two scans. I had just one and walked out. Called my doctor 's office that I will not do any more scans at this place ever. I absolutely feel sorry for the two younger women who work as receptionists. Get out now. It is a true shame that this place is even open for business. I had an appointment on 2.25.26. the 1st place was SO RUDE and said I was at the wrong location (not correct). spent 2 hours at the 2nd location and was told they could not perform the MRI because I have a spinal cord stimulator. I was very clear about the spinal cord stimulator when I scheduled the appointment a month ago. they sent me to the Tempe location where they said they were unable to do the MRI and I needed to go to North Gilbert. I walked out with the appointment in hand and received a text confirmation. i arrived at the N Gilbert location today and was told that I did not have an appointment and they could get me in tomorrow. I live 40 miles away from N Gilbert. I walked out and will never even consider going to any Simon Med location for any reason in the future. shame on this place. the employees are rude and the whole company needs to get their act together. People who need MRIs are usually getting them because they have a medical condition. it's not for fun!! My provider ordered a hip x-ray. I get here and they tell me that their x-ray technician today is a "limited" technician, and can only do certain x-rays. The person is in training. Unfortunately, this person is not trained how to do a hip X-ray. Why would you only have one technician that can only do some x-rays? In addition, the front desk person was very difficult to deal with. She had a very soft voice, and I have to keep leaning in to hear her. When I asked her to speak a little bit louder because her voice was very soft, she got nasty. Today my experience was so good that I actually felt badly mentally preparing to be treated like a number and waiting a long time..... NONE of those things happened. When I arrived, the parking lot was very busy and I even debated coming back since I was a "walk in" patient for an ordered xray. With the form my practitioner had written me in hand I walked in and immediately to an open receptionist. Samantha welcomed me in with a smile immediately and asked me if I had an appointment, with a sigh and story ready to tell her she said, "Okay," with a really sweet tone and I handed her my paper. Samantha asked me maybe four other simple questions about myself and I took my seat. I waited maybe 10 minutes as people came in and out of the building so quickly it was like an express route for medical imagining. Every patient was in such a good mood too I couldn't help but believe they were sharing my same pleasantly and very surprised experience. My xray took a totally of 60 seconds and I didn't even get the tech's name but he too was so nice. Samantha wished me a great day and I left! 10/10 y'all. We had an appointment scheduled at a different location and they were kind enough to call me a week before to me know that the MRI with contrast, as requested by the physician, would not be available at that location. Hence, we ended up here. Our appointment was early in the day, hence not an overwhelmingly cheery greeting, but we were promptly checked in, provided with additional paperwork (why they can't have you fill it out online or ahead of time in this technological age is beyond me, but I digress) and asked to wait. Was not long of a wait past our scheduled time. The tech, Mike, was terrific! Pleasant, helpful and made my son feel comfortable for his first MRI (hopefully also last). The tech also took the time to come out and let know they would almost be finished so I could gather his belongings and wrap up my work. Finally, there is a large waiting room up front. Plenty of distance between folks and seats are spread out. A surprisingly great experience! Kudos to the staff!! read more

Xray tech had emergency and left for the day. People were coming in that had appts and were then told no one could do the xrays. I cannot stress enough how fraudulent this company is. RUN, don't walk, away. Every single part of my experience at two different Simon med offices has been a nightmare. They've overcharged me on two separate occasions, despite the fact that my insurance had stated beforehand that I should be paying $0. They argued and said their computer system said I owed them money. When I asked them to verify, they made me wait AN HOUR in the waiting room while they supposedly verified what I owed. My insurance later stated they had no record of anyone from Simon med contacting them. So after an hour I still owed them money to be seen. Fine, I paid it, thinking I could get it back later. Over the last 5 months I've probably spent hours on the phone trying to get my money back and still haven't been able to. My insurance company has paid it all and my patient responsibility is $0 but Simon med refuses to pay me back what they owe me. DO NOT go to any Simon med location. read more

This place is absolutely awful!!!!! First I got scheduled at a location that isn't in business anymore. Then I finally got an appointment at a location that is in business and they schedule me for a "non ob ultrasound". I called after realizing they completely screwed it up and after getting a ridiculous call center full of people who CAN NOT SPEAK ENGLISH, got it fixed to an OB ultrasound. They call me THE DAY OF MY APPOINTMENT AFTER MY FIANCÉ ALREADY CALLED OFF WORK to tell me nobody is there to do my ultrasound and I have to wait another day! Absolute trash. They run WAAAAAY behind for MRIs. SimonMed scheduled me for another location then called me the day before to let me know they don't do MRIs at the location (that THEY scheduled me for an MRI at). I had to wait another 2 weeks after demanding they fit me in this month. I arrive 15 minutes early and am told at check in that they are 45 minutes behind. She seemed surprised I was willing to wait. Strange reaction, but it's tough to get rid of a body and I was promised an MRI. An hour and a half later, I'm still not called back for my procedure... Final time: 1 hour 45 minutes past my scheduled time I was called back. The MRI looks a bit tattered with some rust. Image quality TBD. read more

Seems they can't keep their equipment running, and when you show up for your appointment they tell you the machines are down, no call, text, email or smoke signal. They Just offer to reschedule as if you have nothing better to do than order your life around them and their poor service. I have been to SimonMed before but at a different rent location. The reason I decided to write a review at this location (since I like to keep Mmmmm medical stuff pretty private) is solely based on the front desk representative Amy. I got to my appointment about 25 minutes early. She was there to check me in and explained that although I wass early, they run a tight ship and I would be going backk closer to my appointmnet time as to not rush oTher patients. She gave me my paperwork, I completed it and sat down in the lobby. The lobby itself is very clean and the stonework is beautiful. It appears they may have a kid area to the left of the lobby too (I didn't look in there so, if I'm wrong - sorry). So I'm sitting and waiting and one by one she's helping check people in. She got a couple of irate people but Amy, she's a pro. She killed them with kindness and she was sincere with her apologies. Sometimes being the bed real punching bag can take its toll so I ran to my car, grabbed a piece of paper and wrote her a note about how great I thought she was. If I have to have more imaging done (although this location is slightly out of my way) I will totally be selecting this location. Oh and bonus, you can book your appointments online! read more

When I explained that Simon med people called me to set up the appointment they said she doesn't know who I talk to and there's nothing she can do. My fiance went there Jan 2023. They told him he had $100 deductible. He paid it that day. In April 2023, he had not seen an EOB for the service so he called his insurance who called Simon Med. The Insurance told them they needed to file the claim. So Simon Med finally did. The EOB reflected that there was Zero out of pocket cost. So My fiance called the billing department again May 2023They said they would credit his credit card( the one he paid with). It would take 45-60 business days. Aug 2023 he called the billing department again. They stated they appologized for the delay but it would be 45-60 business days to credit the card. Nov 2023 still no refund. Called the billing office, again. They claimed they had just mailed a check to the home address should receive it in 14 business days. Well 14 business days came and went, called the billing department again. This time they said they already mailed the check. So had to request a tracer on the check that was never received. Dec 2023 called Simon Med back again. They said the check was never cashed and probably lost in the mail. So they will cut another check. Should be here within 14 business days. Now comes Jan 2024 still no check, more excuses. Simon Med reportedly fired the whole billing department for the issues that have occurred to customers. Not just us. Feb 2024, Simon Med is "working to correct the issues and will be mailing out checks". Still waiting read more

Appointment at 1:30pm. Asked at 2:15 when I would be seen. A couple minutes later they call me back and plop me in another room to wait another 30 minutes. They did imaging then had to wait for the radiologist to review (another 30 minutes) before more imaging and more waiting. Despite both people making mention of seeing something while doing the imaging, I was then told they found absolutely nothing and sent on my way. Drove 30 miles one way to go to the location that was "supposed" to be open and they were closed. Received multiple emails and texts confirming time and location but when I called was told the location was closed on Saturday and I should have called instead of making appointment online. Scheduled a xray appointment for 0830. Completed all paperwork including uploading a pic of my insurance card electronically PRIOR to my appointment. Upon arrival (0820), I had to provide my insurance card and ID AGAIN. Sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before going to the xray room. No update on the delay. Found out while waiting that xrays are done on a walk-in basis. So why did I make an appointment? Then to have no apology for the wait! Poor customer service. I found out the Practice Manager was the person who checked me in, who KNEW I had an appointment for 0830 and who KNEW I was waiting. I had to go to this location to get some imaging done and when I walked in to this establishment. They asked me to wear a mask. I promptly told them that I was exempt due to religious reasons. They refused to give me service unless I wore a f'ing mask. Yet another business violating amendment rights and another business I will be adding to my lawsuit I am going to be filing for violation of amendment rights. What a disgrace that this company is in business in America. They need to go somewhere else where rights don't matter. Look on the side of the mask boxes and note that there is a warning that says specifically that masks do not protect you from the virus. Come on Simon med imaging why are you actually for the people. I was told to arrive 15 min early to fill out paperwork. I arrived at 9:15 and they had me fill out a one page document. The girl at the desk seemed to be lazy. She asked me for documents my doctor had already faxed over. She said she would have to look for them if I didn't bring a copy with me. It took her an extra 30 seconds to find them. She asked for my insurance Info which was on the form too. She said it would be easier if she could just make a copy instead of looking for it on the paperwork. Again. Took her an extra 30 seconds. My appointment was at 9:30 and they didn't take me back until 10:04. The ultrasound was a disaster. The technician said the office didn't order any paper towels or other products to keep the process mess free. I had a full abdominal ultrasound and she just kept using a pillow case or sheet to wipe my stomach off. After a 15 minute appointment she was basically just wiping the gel around with the soaking wet material. She added more and more gell until both my shorts and my pants were covered in gel when the appointment was done. When I asked for a towel to wipe it off she handed me a wet wipe to wipe myself off. I walked out with wet spots all over my shirt and shorts because of the mess she made with the gel. She then told me to complain because she was tired of not having the supplies she needed to do her job. When I asked for a manger the 'floor lead' said she could help. I explained the experience and she said yeah, our shipments don't come in regularly because of the supplier. HORRIBLE management of the office and horrible customer service. Maybe you should get better at inventory management instead of blaming the supplier or switch suppliers if they do miss deliveries. Regardless, don't make ridiculous excuses. Tell your doctor you want to go somewhere else for your imaging. read more

I have been waiting over an hour for a CT scan. No one came to inform me they are running late. My appointment was at 9:50 it is now 11:09 am. 5 days post surgery. Sitting and standing are very difficult. Meds are now way past due and I'm more and more uncomfortable. I would not recommend coming to this Simon Med. On a more positive note. If they could have just told me they were running late. It would have taken some stress off. read more

I had the opportunity to go to SimonMed yesterday for an exam. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Once I was in the examination room, the nurse was extremely positive and helped me be more relaxed. She explained each step that I would be going through which showed her knowledge of the exam. I do wish I could remember her name bc she was outstanding. Upon completion of the tests I again approached the receptionist to make an additional name to who would see the results. She was gracious and added another doctor's name. I would recommend this SimonMed office and I will be going there for future tests. read more

She gave me information about our insurance that no other place had ever told me. Dallas was the MRI tech. Also friendly and efficient to make it as easy on him as possible. Absolutely pathetic service. My doctor scheduled an MRI on Sept 30 for Oct 14 so that he could refer me to a pain specialist for my back. On Oct 12 Simon med calls me and tries to say oh your insurance didn't accept it yet we have to reschedule using excuses how it was on the insurance and doctor as the culprits. However after immediately calling my doctor and insurance company I found out that it was Simon med who dropped the ball and because they waited so long to put in the request is why it was being held up. To make matter worse on top of lying about this matter I missed an entire day of work and two hours of work the day before to discover this. Now I had to work fast on to reschedule because my pain management was 4 days away from the mri. Simon med reschedules for Saturday only to again call me the next day and pull the same bullocks the next day. Great so what you're saying is I can't get treatment for pain on my back the post to be in wrenching pain and you want to play with my time and emotions. great service in the medical field you have idiots!! what exactly are here for? Over charged copay. My MRI copay per my insurance is $125! Upon arrival I was told my copay they needed to collect was $275..... after a discussion & asking why ...the front office said it was an "in depth " MRI. Wrong ....no contrast or anything more in depth per my surgeon. So, now trying to get a refund is worse than the surgery! I have been calling & emailing since receiving my explanation of benefits from medicare. Date of service was July/20/23 so they have used MY MONEY for several months knowing I was due a refund for over payment. Today they tell me that it was processed on 10/9/23 but it will take another 30-45 days again to refund to my cc. I have worked in healthcare management for over 30 years so this treatment is unbelievable/unacceptable! Finally called my doctor and told the office I was DONE with this place and to please cancel that order and send the order to SMIL. They did and I called SMIL and had my appointment in 20 minutes after calling! Love places that actually answer a phone instead of getting a recording that we're too busy to answer the phone so leave a message and we might call you back when we have a minute!
