It deserves Zero for the front desk person. Just awful, no bed side manors for a customer in pain. I called to confirm, arrived 4 minutes after appointment time after calling to state I will be a few minutes late. They stated over 10 minutes they will need to reschedule. I checked in, PAID, and waited. A woman arrived later and was put ahead of me. I asked the desk why the wait. The nice person that checked me in and took my payment referred to a "more experienced" person. The other person was so rude stating well you were late. I said I called and they said it was ok. I walked away and sat calling the main number, not wanting to deal with the desk again. I finally got called in an hour later but was too upset to sit in a confined space for 30 minutes. On visiting the facility for my calcium score test l was told that the test is worth 71 dollars. I confirmed the total charges twice with them one over phone and then in person. I then had my test and paid the price in full on my credit card. However, a few weeks pass and now in my mail I get a bill of 457 dollars. What the f****! This place is a sham shop, do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Edit: Called the billing helpline today, after infinite wait, I was able to to connect. Initially the lady told me that I am enrolled in a payment plan so I paid 71$. But when I ranted about how I had confirmed the total payment twice prior to the test. She interrupted that my balance is 0$. I asked her the reason and she told me that the billing department weren't communicated by the lab about the test payment. This is so unprofessional, I asked her what if i had made the payment before calling. And she bluntly told me this is what the helpline is for to call if you have questions? Really? The bill clearly says make the payment online to avoid collections and it takes forever to connect clearly the don't want to be contacted. I will let you connect the dots! read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! I had a 7 a.m. appointment. I arrived 15 mins early as they requested. I sat in this dark parking lot waiting for someone to open the doors and finally 2 young ladies showed up a little after 7. One of the girls came in with her hair all over her head like she just got out of bed and the other one had a blanket over her head. The nonsense didn't just stop there. After finally checking in I sat in the waiting room for 30 mins without anyone coming to take me back, so since I had now been there 45 mins I walked to the desk and asked if the tech was there and they informed me that he/she had not come in yet and were supposed to be there at 7, which by this time it was 7:30. So I told them to cancel my appointment (along with another gentlemen who did the same). The girl with the blanket on her head was under the cover sleeping at the desk. THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL, TACKY AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT ANYTHING. This is my second jacked up episode with them. One time they cancelled my appointment and never bothered to call me. I found out when I attempted to check in. After I get this MRI I will not be going back to this place! It's a freaking JOKE! read more

The lady who helped me today (9/16/19) at the front desk. She sat by herself in the single desk. She was wearing a green shirt and has ombré hair was really rude. She was very very unhelpful when asking if they take my insurance she gave me a look and a small scoff and said "uh ya" like I should know that. We then waited an hour which is understandable since it is walk in for x Ray but then when I went back up to ask how much longer she said they have been waiting on us to give them money. They never once called me back up to let me know that and we also discussed that our deductible was met before hand. She was not willing to call the insurance company to confirm that. Whatever. Then she said I would be next but I still waited 25 more minutes. 3 entire waves of patients were helped before I was even looked at. Very unprofessional. read more

Second time here and very disappointed. Front staff is nice but the wait time is ridiculous. My appointment time was at 8:00, it is now 8:17. The last time I went here, I waited over 2 hrs. Was suppose to have an ultra sound so my bladder was full of water. I asked a couple of times and all they could tell me was they were backed up...they finally called me back..but it was for my mammogram that was scheduled....told the technician I was suppose to get an ultrasound too and that my bladder was super full and I'd been waiting over two hrs. She went to check with the ultrasound tech..only to find out the front desk didn't put my file with the ultrasound tech. Horrible experience! read more

The folks at Simon Med imaging are very helpful and easy going. My advice however is call to schedule, and confirm location, they are a few blocks apart so people go to the wrong one all the time. The scan crew were total Pro's on both visits. That's what's important to ME. First scan had IV contrast, real easy, no prob.. The scan machine practically Brand New. Super nice. Everybody in my sphere has had a helpers spirit. Really super. So with with the other scan procedures, I entered the dimly lit scan room, the room was warm and technician quickly put me at ease. I was provided with a towel to be more "comfortable" and the scan begins, 10 mins all done. Easy Peasy! read more

Nobody here is bad, everyone I have interacted with has been very nice. Granted I've only gone here once but the one time I came here, wow it was Grand Central Station standing room only. My urgent order was taken after 7 people were called. That's how busy it was. Trying to call afterwards to get a live person has proved impossible over the past four days. The phone system has you wait in line for an operator, OK no problem... then disconnects you after a short time by telling you the system is unable to process your call. When you call back and press 0 immediately, you are immediately disconnected. If you then call back again and listen to the entire menu and then press 0, you go to the waiting room and then are disconnected. Now getting text messages about my order for an x-ray that's already been completed days prior and I can't call in to tell him to stop because of what I just wrote. I don't know what's wrong with this place but I'm going to pick another Simon Med location. This one appears to be going through some major, hopefully short-term change. read more

Easily the worst managed bunch of office people that I've ever see. The techs are friendly. But everyone else just sucks. The people that finally call to schedule your appointments are unhelpful and unfriendly on the phone, the don't disclose any payment info to you. The office people are complaining amongst themselves about being there while patients are trying to check in. They are so disorganized, that they couldnt find their way out of a paper sack. Procedure for checking in for a mammogram... 1. Stand in line 2. Watch employees walk around and ask people if they have checked in 3. Get handed a clipboard of paperwork. 4. Notice it's the wrong stuff. 5 ask for correct paperwork. 6. Reconfirm that all of these pages need are needed, again, since it's a repeat exam. 7. Be handed something else instead. 8. Be taken to back, "women's area with cookies" to fill out paperwork. 9. Take paperwork back to front. 10. Stand in line again to hand paperwork in. 11. Explain that their "new way of trying something out is stressful, confusing and way more work than necessary" 12. Listen to their excuses of "we are just trying to figure out how to get the charts to the techs, without having to wait". 13. Go back to "cookie corner". 14. Wait. 15. Wait longer, while now have seen 3 people come in after you, for same thing, get scanned and leave before you. 16. Still be ignored by everyone. 17. Wonder just how sanitary are those cookies. Because not everyone washes their hands. 18. See office lady come to you, wanting to collect money (for today's scan) that you were never told about, weeks prior when scheduling appointment or today when checking in. 19. Watch same lady shrug, and walk away when you tell her that their customer service is horrible. So, no, I do not want to give you insensitive, rude uncaring people my money. No, I do not want to reschedule my appointment for another time, as, you have absolutely wasted my morning and put me through absolute emotional hell. And I hope like hell that either everyone quits coming here and you all lose your jobs (the desk people) or learn how to do your damned jobs. If there was an option to give less than one star, I would. Customer service is awful. The front desk doesn't acknowledge you, basically hands you paper work and that's it. No greeting or anything which is very sad especially in the medical field when you would think they would have some sort of professionalism. Employees were talking about other patients so loud that the lobby area could hear, which itself is worrisome since it's pretty private information. I scheduled an appointment and it's already after the time I scheduled and I'm sitting here writing this so I'm obviously not being seen when I'm scheduled. I had one of the best experiences someone could while getting a scan. I have gotten many scans while being injured the past two years and this is my new favorite location. Laura did my MRI and she is by far one of the best and sweetest people I have come across. I am claustrophobic and in chronic pain from multiple injuries. She was so amazing and sweet. She kept me calm and made me as comfortable as possible. After the scan I had extreme pain getting up (from laying flat) to the point of tears. And she not only helped me up, she allowed me to take my time, comforted me and walked me to my car to make sure I got there ok. Laura is so caring and such an amazing person and GREAT at her job. I will only request her from now on, I hope she stays at this location. Thank you SimonMed for having Laura here. read more

Multiple bad experiences here. Had several ultrasounds here and then in March - after I'm in a gown and in the back ready to go - they tell me I don't have a mammogram on file. Never needed one before....already paid for visit so had to reschedule. Had mammogram results sent over to them for rescheduled appointment. No one called me to tell me they had come in like they had promised. I had to call and follow up and they had been sitting there for a week. Reschedule and return today. I'm now told my mammogram sent over only included a report and no images. Well why didn't anyone there notice that when they came in??? And tell me when I called to follow up??? So I say I will do a mammogram with this ultrasound appt. So I wait longer as I'm now in line for that. After almost a half an hour I call them (they said they would call me as we were waiting outside due to covid) She now tells me that the radiologist wants to now compare last years mammo with this one.....well we don't have the images....they just told me I could do both here at the same time. I lost all confidence in this place and their procedures so I cancel the whole thing. I've now spent 1.5 hours here for nothing - plus the visit in March for nothing....I go to the desk and ask for a refund because I'm not coming back here again. The tech in the back told the manager to expedite me in the long line. Didn't happen. I stood in line because I didn't trust it would happen. I made it to the front way before the manager at the desk ever called me - she never did. Then the girl at the desk can't find my refund in the system and doesn't know what to do. Takes her 10-15 to find it. Then she says that the "refund button" isn't popping up so now she has to call someone to figure out what to do. The manager tells me I can't stand there and wait anymore and wants me to sit in a waiting room full of people that are not social distancing bu the way....takes them another 15 minutes and she hands me a small post it with billing girls name and says it will take 7-10 business days for the refund. Gives me no receipt. I ask for one - cuz I don't trust anything with this place. She says "don't you have your receipt from March?!?" No not on me - and even if I did it doesn't show a refund processed. Very unkind and unprofessional. Will not return... read more

SimonMed is the crappiest place ever! DO NOT GO to any location. They called an hour prior to my daughter's appointment to say that it was postponed. This after it had already been rescheduled two weeks ago because the other location can't do contrast; which was originally scheduled a week after the original order. We are now going on 3 weeks of no MRI. Plus, when I questioned why they didn't get authorization prior to today (a holiday and they've had 3 weeks) they said they contacted and left me a voicemail on the 2nd. Why on earth would you have contacted me 3 days BEFORE our orthopedic appointment that called in the MRI in the first place??? LIARS!!! If anyone orders Imaging and want to send you to SimonMed, demand a different Imagaing company. They get zero stars but Yelp won't let me give zero stars. read more

Do not go there! Their incompetence is staggering. I had an MRI which is about 15 minutes but was there for 2.5 hours including the 15 minutes to get a CD with the images. This was on a Friday. The following Wednesday I go a call from them that they needed to talk with me. I returned the call but Heidi was not there so the receptionist talked to a man who said some of the images didn't make it to the CD so I needed to come back in to get them. I asked if the images would be sent to my doctor anyway. Heidi left a message that she hadn't heard from me. When I called back she had no record that I had called before. I was told that they didn't have the images on the server. After probing they did a software upgrade so they were gone. I was told to bring the CD back in so they could upload them. Another trip to Simonmed. Another 15 minute wait only to be told that the images they need were not on the CD. They offered to do another MRI later that afternoon. NO WAY! They delete my images and don't but the right ones on the CD. I Will not let them touch me again. Calls to the office manager have not been returned. read more

Why is it SOO difficult to make an appointment at SimonMed? I was told weeks ago by my dr. that they faxed my order to Simonmed and that someone from there would call me. No one ever did, so I called to make the appt. I was on the phone for 40 minutes with an associate just to nail down a time. Is there something wrong with the system where they can't see all times available at a specific location? This has happened all 4 times I have had to make an appointment. One time, it was due to an abnormal mammogram, and they were unable to see me for a MONTH. I have also had issues at this location, with having majorly long wait times. My last visit, I had an appointment at 1, and I was not given my mammogram until 3pm. I had to sit in the back topless waiting for 2 hours. read more

I've had to reschedule the appointment with them 3 times, and even one of the times I called to do so they apparently lost my information and had to restart everything again. Plus I had people telling me different things all the times, they would transfer me or say they would and instead they would hung up. Today I get to my appointment, and as I say hello to the lady at the front desk she decides not to answer and called me when it was convenient for her. The place doesn't seem to be clean either, and since I made it here 5 minutes later they put me behind the next patient. I have been here for an hour already without any proper communication. I had an appointment yesterday and the front desk guy was very pleasant. I was scheduled for an angiogram. The person who gave me the angiogram was a very unpleasant person, one of the most unpleasant medical workers I have ever encountered. Her whole demeanor was curt and short. I asked if I could have a pillow under my head thinking it might help me because it is hard for me to lay flat on my back. She said" it is only for 5 minutes so it is not life or death". She got the pillow anyway and had it in the wrong position on my neck, never giving me a chance to say I needed to adjust it. Anything she said to me was short. After the procedure, I asked her to give me a hand sitting up. She said "No, I can't do that, I have had 3 back surgeries". Maybe she should not be in that profession then. That even wouldn't have bothered me if she would have said something like "I am sorry I can't help you" but it was a resounding "NO"! I will never go to this facility again!!!!! read more

I received an appointment reminder on Saturday, about my Monday appointment, and the person was very helpful and was able to get in me Sunday morning. It wasn't crowded. It was my second MRI in a month, this time for another area. The front desk person was very kind and helpful, as usual, and the technician was amazing. He was thoughtful for my comfort and hearing protection. Five stars for the staff. Better then my first MRI a few weeks ago. I have been going to this location for many years and the staff is always kind and go our of their way to help with issues. I do have a problem with the billing system, as after paying my $100 copay online on 4/25/19 (for my wife), they didn't get the payment, and after providing proof of payment with a online receipt and credit union statement screen shot, they are taking too long to fix it and still showing as a debt. Although on Thursday, someone in billing reviewed it and said it was now cleared. I hope it's true. I don't want to pay twice. My FICO score is 834 and always pay my bills. I also have a problem with scheduling an appointment online. I made an appointment online, but they called me to say that time wasn't available and lost days, as needed to get the report to my doctor by this coming Thursday. I checked in to Simon med, and they were warm and friendly. I accidentally brought the wrong order form and she said not to worry about it and called my GP office to get my order faxed over. Unfortunately l, I didn't get the front girls name, but she did what she said she would do quickly. I filled out ppw and when I finished, they already had a faxed copy of my order. So kudos to my GP and Simon Med! Then I had my technician Kim, she was great. She took me back right away. My arrival time was 8:30am, I left Simon med at 8:58 am. Love efficiency! read more

This is my first time ever having a mammogram done. Front office staff were pleasant and welcoming. My tech Kim was great and very thorough. But as i went to get an ultrasound done, the atmosphere was different, not much talking going on except lay bak and raise your right arm. As i waited for the tech to come back to let me know of my results, which everything was fine, there was another lady who entered the room whom she did not identify herself, started closing the door, in which i said "we're not done yet" as im getting down from the gurney, she replies in a rude tone "just want to make sure your covered up so no one sees anything", mind you my gown was tied before jumping off the gurney. I usually have no problems when i come to this location, but i cannot tolerate rudeness as i have today. read more

I'm in Arizona. I had an appointment scheduled that took 2.5 weeks to get. 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment I called to get the address. This is the point of the phone call after being placed on hold for 10 minutes when all I was trying to do was get an address I was told I would have to reschedule my appointment. I asked why and the CSR told me there was an issue with the technician. I asked if it was the same technician for both procedures, as I was to have an ultrasound and mammogram done and the CSR said yes. I asked if there was another technician and she told me no. She then offered me a date to reschedule that was another 2.5 weeks out. I asked to speak with a supervisor as this was unacceptable not to get a phone call before my scheduled appointment and then tell me I have to wait another 2.5 weeks after I received a total of 3 text messages and 1 email confirming my appointment that day. Not to mention people have to move their whole schedule around for these long appointments. I personally had to have a colleague from another city drive 2.5 hours from up north to cover my office. I got on the phone with the supervisor and explained the situation. David never apologized and just asked me to hold the line. I was on hold for 22 minutes when the line disconnected. I called back 2 more times and was put on hold and was hung up on both times. I Never received a phone call back. I called my doctors office and they referred me to another imaging center. I will never use SimonMed again. The absolute worst customer service ever. You cant understand any of their CSR's as English is not their first language and they all seem very old in age and cant really follow a conversation without getting lost. Scheduling this appointment took me 2 days because the rep could not speak English well and she ended up hanging up on me and we only got as far as spelling my first name. All to come to the day of my appointment and this happens. I urge you to find another imaging center to take care of you. We aren't trying to schedule a nail appointment, these are urgent matters and should be treated like so. read more
