    X-ray is walk-in only. Appointments required for everything else, but not a basic x-ray. That is not the fault of this location, it's SimonMed corporate policy. Which I think is stupid. We actually went to the Spectrum location first, but they had a 90 minute wait. This place had no one in line (the folks at Spectrum called for us), so we came here. Tech was friendly and efficient. There was a bit of attitude when they brought my CD up to the desk because they had a paper for me to sign, but I'm on crutches so my wife offered to sign. No reason to give her attitude (it was a facial expression of annoyance). If it weren't for that I would have gone to 4 stars. Not busy, new facilities, efficient tech. In and out quickly.

    SimonMed staff check-in are so rude and unprofessional. I took my elderly mother for her scans and both times the women at the front desk are rude and disrespectful to the patients. Also, they dress in yoga pants and yell financial info across the room. This place is hell. Elderly folks get treated the worst. Avoid this place if you can.

    I had two procedures done in January. i had to pay over $600 out of pocket at the time of the…read moreprocedure. I had asked the desk clerk for a printout of the breakdown of charges for each procedure, my portion vs the insurance. He told me they couldn't do that and handed me a post it note with my portion of the two procedures, so two numbers, but no breakdown of the insurance portion or total procedure cost. When I got the insurance bill I realized they had overcharged me by almost double. I called to get a refund and was told 2-3 weeks. I Waited 4 weeks and called again. I was then told my refund had been issued that same day. Waited another 4 weeks and called back only to be told again that my refund was issued the day I was calling. Asked to speak to a supervisor who was no help. He couldn't explain why I had to call 3x and was told each time I'd have a refund in 2-3 weeks, nor was he able to guarantee this refund would be in my hands in 2-3 weeks, only that it should be. Here we are almost in May and they still owe me $315. Not sure why I they can't estimate closer than that in the first place as they had all my insurance info well in advance. It also should not take 4 months and at least 3 calls to get my refund. Horrible cust experience from the billing side. The only reason I gave them two stars instead of 1 is that the two people who performed my actual procedures were great. I do not recommend this business.

    Never, ever, ever do business with SimonMed. 1. They make…read moreimaging appointments BEFORE receiving approval from health insurance for the imaging. If the approval isn't received before the appointment, they will cancel the appointment and then text you until you call in to reschedule. 2. When you call back to reschedule, you have to explain everything all over again and you usually get different prep insructions for the same image request. 3. When you try to use their website, you can't use your cell phone number for a second account. I was my husband's caregiver and now I am my mother's and they won't let her have an account because I have the same cell phone number. Why ANY company would make a phone number a key database field is beyond me. 4. The online chat leads you only to FAQ pages...not to a person who can actually help you.

Upon arrival, they gave me a one-page health survey to fill out, which I did and within 10 minutes they had called me back to the testing area. They had me put my purse into a locked locker (of which I held the key for), and took me into the MRI suite. They had me lay down on the table, and even gave me a blanket as it was a little chilly in the room. The MRI took about 15 minutes to complete and I was out of the office by 8:05am (just 5 minutes after my scheduled appointment time). Perfect. The employees were fabulous and I have zero complaints. Hope I dont have to go back for more testing, but if I do, I'll gladly go to this location.

Meanwhile the receptionists will sit gabbing away. What are they waiting on? The new usually move to the second waiting room or you could wait another 30 minutes or more. I don't get it. The South is pleasant but their system is broken. Why when I walk into the office and no one is at the check-in (everyone sitting around) and have to wait to go check in. Then you realize all these people are still waiting to be called up. Not happy. Its my 2nd time here and same same.

    Not sure these reviews are useful. I mean getting imaging is not a pleasant process at any…read moretime!!!! Anyway, went in for MRI with appointment and referral from my Ortho. Glad I had an appointment. This is a very popular "walk-in" location and they've got a large waiting room with more chairs strung out down the hallway. Given how long the average imaging appt lasts, you could be waiting for a really long time. I was called back for prep a few minutes before my scheduled appt. Def get there early. You've got to completely disrobe and change into their goofy stuff that includes one of those smocks that ties in the back. Such a stupid design, because no one can tie that thing up in back . They have a couple lockers to put your personal stuff in, then you sit and wait outside changing rooms before they come get you and walk you to another area just outside MRI room where you wait again. It's a well run conveyor belt. Lady in front of me came out and in I went. Kudos to the techs and MRI operator for helping me get comfortable on the table. Not an easy feat given my height and shoulder width. Fortunately whole process inside the tube only took about 15 minutes. Next patient was cued up as I left to get redressed. The quality of care was as good as you could expect for this kinda place. I had a tech and a newbie learning the ropes shepherding from area to area.
