Between the barking and the static, it was extremely difficult to hear her, although she had no trouble hearing me. I stopped at the front desk twice, once to pick up my prep package and once to ask a question about the procedure. The front desk staff were helpful both times. The CT scanner operator clearly wanted to be somewhere else. He opened by telling me the procedure would take "15 to 45 minutes, depending on your cooperation." It went downhill from there. He was the worst healthcare provider I have ever encountered, and I have had many MRIs, CT scans, X-rays, biopsies, radiation treatments, and scope procedures. I had been warned about SimonMed beforehand, but this is where my surgeon sent the order. I will not be back, and I do not recommend them. I have since read that the company is now majority-owned by a private equity firm.

I was here to get an MRI and was taken back shortly after my appointment time and was quickly put into the machine. I am lucky that I am not claustrophobic because the machine is very narrow and it is just inches above your head as you get slid into it. The procedure normally lasts about 40 minutes or so but they provide you with earplugs to cut down on the noise and once I was put in I fell asleep and next thing I knew I was being taken out! The technician was great and thoroughly explained everything and was very congenial.

Not just this location either, the entire company is unorganized, confused, and no one is on the same page. I needed some MRIs done and was wanting to pay cash because I didn't have insurance. So, I called around to get pricing. Well, Melissa Horne (who works with pre-registering cash patients) gave me the wrong estimate twice. First she says the MRIs will cost about $500 with the cash pay discount. So I call again after she got me scheduled and then it was up to $1022 for the procedure. I blatantly asked her, "ok, so I won't be charged anything more than that for the procedure?" And she stated, "no, as long as you don't need another test that should be the final cost". So I go and get the procedure done. Well, Phil Kinsleywho works at the 3rd st location then informs me that it will be an additional $300 (according to the price sheet he has) for the radiologist to read the report. This would have been good to know prior to my registration. He was also confused about the estimate she gave me. We tried to call her but of course, she was "out of town" that week. Oh, but that's not all.... I get the procedure and a couple weeks later I get a bill in the mail from the radiologist for another $1048!!!! Honor health says they aren't associated with the radiologists who do the reading so they are unaware of the bill. In summary, this company has no clue what is going on when it comes to the financial side. If you're paying cash, I'd advise you to go elsewhere because their "estimate" is going to be very far off. They con you into getting their services because they lie that it's at a "low" price, wait for you to get the procedure done, and then tack on a bunch of extra money to your bill that they don't tell you about. I will never go there again.

Was submitted to my insurance, and I paid deductible. Two months later I get a statement only it shows a a new charge and balance due. I notice it was not submitted to my insurance. So, I call them and the Backoffice was rather snippy, all the while I was taking the "higher road". I asked why it has not been submitted to my insurance, they stated it was but was deemed out of network. I stated that they are in network, if they look in records, they will see my insurance has paid them before and that I checked with insurance and they advised they never received the claim for the amount on statement. SDI claims that there is ongoing issue with BCBS where they continue to advise callers, they have no records of invoices. Told them I met my deductible at time of service and BCBS will pay in full. They wanted me to call BCBS and conference call them in. Ridiculous, It is hard enough navigating the health industry during a tragedy. I told them they are the experts and I am confident they can contact BCBS directly to get this resolved. I still get statements for the charge, however never received a bill and the statement does not have any medical billing coding on it. If you can request another imagery provider. This place is definitely not customer oriented and a Po-dunk operation.

The agents that answer the phone are quite nice, and confirmed all of the documentation is on file- however, the 'back-office' has no contact number, so a client can only email them. If this was money I owed to them, my credit would be tanked and they would be calling me and sending the balance to credit collections!! This is no way to run a business. And based on the other reviews I am reading, they do this to many other customers. I do not recommend this company.

They had a nice dressing room and personal lockers to put your stuff in while you were getting your imaging which was very nice and made it more personal. Everyone was super nice and respectful.
