My son has been coming here since 2023 for a skin disorder that peels his skin and causes it to become raw 1. it takes a long time to get an appt 2. since my son wasn't having a flare up at that moment the doctor denied him a drs note and said it wasn't "chronic enough" 3. They lost the photos I sent them nor could they locate their own, but one 4. The Doctor was very young and inexperienced and when you ask questions She was rude and condescending 5, Dr Reddy never came by to oversee the situation that was happening with his staff and the mistreatment 6. To begin, I have held a plethora of customer service front desk Jobs and their front desk is hands down the rudest and most unprofessional front desk I have ever experienced! I understand customers can be quite unpleasant however, the lack of professionalism would usually result in termination at a vast majority of businesses. Giving 1 star because the system doesn't allow zero. My husband was referred to Stephanie from his PCP. Not only did she NOT listen to his concerns, read his recent blood work, but she misled him into thinking they were taking biopsies of his rash/legions. She gave no suggestions as to what may be causing the legions. She dismissed everything he asked and discussed. End result we get a call from what seemed like a call center to tell him the biopsies came negative. We already knew all this. We were told the doctor would return our call by end of day. Nothing. Completely unprofessional. Uncaring. And completely uninformed. So now he has four unnecessary scars on his back for literally nothing other than to pad her bill to the insurance company. Which by the way was informed to not pay anything. All those diplomas on the wall don't mean a thing if you can't treat a patient. Go back to medical school and try and get more than a "passing" grade. read more

I don't generally give bad reviews, but if I could rate the staff I'd give them the lowest possible rating. They overstaff patients, leaving people waiting in the lobby only to be told you need to be rescheduled. Its difficult to get an appointment with an actual dermatologist, instead they put you with an assistant. When you ask for a dermatologist, you have to wait several months to see him/her. When you call to make or cancel appointments, they leave you on hold or ask you to leave your phone number for a call back. Then it could take 48 hours to get back to you. In my case I received a text message. This office is way too busy to care for me. I will look for another Dr. Still, why a bad rating? My appointment was scheduled at 9:30am, got there at 9:15am, cruised the parking lot for a handicap parking, but wasn't able to find one, had to park far away. It's difficult for me to walk, but I finally made it to the 3rd Floor by 9:33am. I asked the receptionist if she could take my new insurance card info, she told me there are 5 people ahead of you, you need to wait. There wasn't anyone else at the front desk, just me. I sat and waited, when at 9:50am the receptionist finally told me I can take your card info now. At 9:55 a girl calls my name, she advised me I needed to reschedule since I was late. I told her I was 3 minutes late, she told me we have you checked in at 9:50am. I told her I checked in at 9:33am and asked the receptionist to take my new insurance card info, but she told me there were 5 people ahead of me. Plus I told here there was a patient named James (one of 3 James) who told us he'd been waiting for an hour. She told me that Esther had left, so we needed to reschedule anyway. I asked her why would Esther leave without looking for me in the lobby? She told me Esther had to be somewhere else. She proceeds to reschedule me with Esther, I told her why would I want an appointment with someone who may ditch me again. She tells me, then it'll be harder to find you an appointment. She finally found me one and I left very disappointed. The more I thought about it, I knew I should have just walked out and looked for another Dermatologist. I tried calling to cancel the appointment, and couldn't get through, had to resort to leaving them a message to cancel my appointment. Very disappointed in Affiliated Dermatology. Christa the NP didn't seem to have a lot of knowledge for the practice she works in. When I went in and explained my condition to her, she recommended me a medication I had already tried and treatments that have not worked for me in the past. When I expressed concern, she brushed me off. She also interrupted me multiple times while I was speaking to ask me irrelevant questions. I recommend she becomes more educated in this field and learns to listen and not interrupt when people are speaking to her. read more

Friendly staff, minimal waiting time for appointments, and clean facilities. They also offer free wifi which is nice! They have regular aesthetician and cosmetic specials on rotation, so be sure to check their website or call and ask. The only downside is if you do need to call them, they are almost always busy, and I have waited upwards of 30 minutes to talk to someone! But that's the only issue I've had with them. read more

I have been a long time patient of this office for many years, I arrived at my appointment today to be told that I did not have an appointment, that my account was deactivated and that I had a outstanding balance and had been sent to collections. The front office staff was so rude and couldnt give me any information as to what my balance was. When I told them I had received a confirmation text, confirmed my appointment, checked in online the day before, how is it that they are telling me I dont have an appointment and my account was suspended. They told me to call collections and take care of my balance and my account would be reactivated. The only transaction I was aware of was when I paid my balance of $297.73 on 7/17/2025 which is what the online portal showed me and I paid the full balance I was given. Billing told me I had a balance of $22....... they told me I had not been sent to collections. I am shocked that as a long time patient who has always taken care of my accounts I have been treated this way for $22 which I was unaware of. I was also shocked that they would have no regard for my time and the fact that I showed up to my appointment 15 mins early and nobody bothered to tell me my appointment had been cancelled or that I needed to take care of the balance prior to the appointment. Shocking. I will never return to the office. I usually have a bill of around $1000-$1200 per visist for skin cancers and biopsies and they turned me away for $22 which had I been aware I would have happily paid. Affiliated Dermatology should really teach their front office some customer service and manners. Dont go to this practice, find a office that values you as a patient and treats you with compassion and respect. read more

I transferred to another dermatology office. I have requested my records from affiliated dermatology on 27th Ave., no less than three times. My new doctors office has requested my complete medical file plus color photographs and received no response for affiliated dermatology. Thorough I have gone down to the office and asked them to send my color pictures to my new dermatology. They have not completed this request. They are putting my health at risk by NOT transferring my records to my new doctor. I am going to the office again tomorrow and stay there again until they confirm that the color photographs are sent to my new office. read more

I came over here for some dermatology issues as well as trying out one of their mole removal processes. What's extremely scummy about this place is that they do not give you quotes for their services like other medical practices. At other medical practices, you're given quotes so that you can make a decision as to whether or not you want to do something. Also, the doctor has told me some of the procedures I've done will be covered by my insurance. They flat out lied. What's even worse is that there's a brown scar where my mole was removed; this scar is as big and as noticeable as the mole itself. It was a failed procedure and they scammed me out of over $230. I got charged for services I didn't even ask for which they did automatically. This was an extreme disappointment and a large waste of money. read more

Update for 10/7 and 10/30 --- Despite prior assurances from this provider's Operations Manager, I was improperly BILLED AGAIN on 10/7 for fraudulent appointment on 4/1. Aka "surprise bill". This is the same non-event that I was told was "taken care of " in earlier review and was given written proof then. When I called to inquire on 10/7, was told "No such operations manager worked there." Called provider again, and was told I would have "a zero balance", with no explanation. I then received an email without any apologies- that shows zero balance, YET my Insurance company confirmed this provider billed THEM again as well. My Insurance company has alerted their fraud division and added provider to their watch list. Provider's actions have also re-opened existing fraud investigation at AZ Attorney General. It is my (updated) belief that this provider is systematically, fraudulently, billing clients, without their consent or awareness. Provider stated in June-- " Do not post about this to social media and we take care of this" -- Hence my muted responses till now. It is obvious that Provider is posting fake reviews, and trying anything to cover poor service. I am now debating going to the local TV and Print Media as well as re-opening a new BBB case and posting to other review sites. Provider is very attune to social media, so READ THIS: You agreed months ago to settle and close the matter. Per that accord, I closed BBB and Attorney General Cases. You have now violated that prior agreement. You should immediately send a formal message to my email, apologizing for this recent re-bill, re-confirm Zero Balance, AND that no further billing will occur for any prior appointments. This will take less than 10 minutes. Do you really want to lose that much more FUTURE revenue from such a past poor experience which you have repeatedly stated is "taken care of" ?? read more

I've been to several different dermatologist over the years just for annual skin cancer checks. I like dermatologists as much as I like dentists - I consider them a necessary evil that causes pain. When I was a teen I fussed so much at a mole removal that the doctor told me to never have children because of my low pain threshold! I have never found one I could tolerate until I encountered Affiliated when I was shopping and they were doing free screenings. I kept them in mind for a future place to try for a real appointment, and have been to them twice since. My most recent visit was the best - nothing found, nothing frozen and sliced off! Yeay! I was in and out in less than an hour. The front office staff were efficient, and the medical team was friendly, professional and engaged. I will definitely continue going here! read more

I took my teen here after battling dandruff for years. The NP spent maybe 5 minutes with us just to recommend Head and Shoulders. Honestly, I expect more out of a specialist than recommending a crappy, common over the counter solution that doesn't work. There was no effort made to find the cause of the problem or a long-term solution. This is my second visit with this practice and I've been disappointed both times. Then I received a voicemail that I was about to be sent to collections over 70$. Confused I called, they said it was an unpaid bill from a long time ago. I paid the bill with my HSA card, even though I was annoyed I never received notice. This was months ago. Today I opened a collections letter. I called affiliated, they have no history of my calling or making the payment. Ok whatever, the conversation was going no where. I called the collections company, they would not take my HSA card. Affiliated dermatology has my correct email, address and phone number yet I never received notices. I gave it a 2 star because I actually love this place and when my mom had cancer they fought to the nail to help her get insurance. read more

1st visit Affiliated Dermatology prescribed a medication that caused my rash to become active and spread. 2nd visit: Skin biopsy 3rd visit: After having a skin biopsy the Doctor handed me a non-specific report and instead of resolving my skin issue I was referred me back to my PCP to test me for hepatitis C, my fisit was 15 minutes max. No explanation of my condition or the report. My PCP did the Hepatitis test and it came back negative. My PCP referred me to a different Dermatologist!!!!!! The new Dermatologist cannot see me for 2 months. This is distressing and frustrating because of the time, health and money. I would never refer anyone to an organization that is so uncaring and dismissive. read more

I went to the Surprise location to have a skin tag removed and an overall skin check. I arrived 15 minutes before my appt, as asked, because I was a new patient. I was called back to the room 30 minutes later. A nurse came in, asked me a few questions and went to get the doctor. The doctor came in about 5 minutes later, asked the same questions, and checked out a few freckles/moles and said everything looked fine. She then asked me to roll over so she could remove the skin tag from my left leg, as that was the best position for her to remove it. She didn't explain the process, didn't tell me what she was doing or using, just told me she was about to poke me. I'm assuming that was the numbing agent because she kept asking me if I could feel anything, after the pokes and I said no. However, while she was removing the skin tag I had a sharp pain on the back of my right thigh. I jumped because it hurt and the doctor just said, "oh that was left over uh ya" and didn't say anything else. She finished up, told me the nurse would give me a list of how to take care of the original spot and left. As I was getting dressed I realized the pain I felt on my right leg was where the doctor wasn't paying attention and laid the burning tool on my skin. Like I said, completely opposite leg, no where near the original skin tag. Hopefully it doesn't scar. I opened the door once I was dressed, was handed an informational sheet, told to have a nice day and sent on my way. There was never an apology or explanation of what occurred. I first researched doctors here on Healthgrades and WebMD, and found the doctors to be rated highly. I had no issues making appointments with the doctor a couple of years ago, however now am told the doctor that I took great steps to find, is no longer taking appointments, but only doing surgeries, and that I will need to start seeing an assistant. However, even if I'd like to see the assistant, it is nearly impossible to make an appointment. I tried booking on line but have not received a return message (after 4 hours) to confirm they even received my request. Trying to call the office gives me a choice of waiting on the line or leaving my call back #. I waited on line for 12 minutes, only to be forced to give my call back #. Last time I waited for the call back, it was over 5 hours. Unfortunately, looks like I'm forced to do new research to find a doctor's office that cares about the patients, and not the $$$$$. I feel very unvalued at this office. read more

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE 10 STARS IF I COULD. They are very professional, compassionate, empathetic, and just overall amazing. From the phone call making the appointment to the visit itself. I've been here a few times. The first day was kinda comical. The fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate the building using stairs. I use a can to walk, but I had help all along the way from people in different departments and floors checking on me to make sure I was ok and ked to safety. We were eventually allowed back in, funny how long it takes to get back up through the elevators when over-crowded. I strongly feel like every single time I've gone in for an examination or minor surgery, there was always the highest level of care from everyone: the doctors, MAS, all the students, receptionists, and the Amandas in pharmacy. Everyone is so friendly and genuine. They seem to really love their jobs, but especially their patients. I have already recommended a few people who have already made appointments. I hope they get the care and respect I did. I seriously love this place. read more
