Had to have knee and hip X-rays. Had two of the nicest and professional Xray techs. Definitely give this location A++

i told my physician if they ever referred me here again for any reason i will be reporting them to the state medical board. walk ins for x rays only, front staff is unpleasant, told me they don't (not couldn't, DONT) answer phone calls(?) while i was in office listening to them ignore another phone call, couldn't quote a wait, went to 3 different locations and 2 of them were closed, and they called emailed and texted me to "make an appointment" when it was never an option to make an appointment to begin with!!! the reviews are all so horrible it felt like a personal attack that my physician referred me here in the first place. read more

This whole company is a joke. I sat I got there right when it opened and never was able to be seen with multiple people there that came In after me that were seen before me. This is after going to 4 other locations the day before which had no x-ray tech available. No one answers there phones so you can't call ahead and they do not scheduled appointments for x-rays. Dr referred us for an X-ray Monday because of severe sharp pain, and was able to get seen that day (told to expect 2-3 days for results). Called Thursday to follow up and they put in a 'stat' request on it (told to expect 24-48 hr for results). It is now late Friday, the tech is gone for the day, and xrays have not been read, much less reported back to the Dr. Meanwhile the pain is every bit as bad. Hope to find out what is causing it soon. read more

They double billed me & am still waiting on a refund. Filed a complaint with the BBB & low & behold they have a F rating with the Better Business Bureau & more than 213 complaints this year, does not surprise me! read more

Tried twice over 2 days to get xray. 1st day, door was locked at 4pm; no sign or anything even tho it closes at 5. 2nd day, watched the website for an hour before going. People waiting went from 0 to 1 and back twice. Checked outside the door at 3:19, website said 0 ppl waiting. On the door is a sign announcing no more xrays after 3:30. It wasn't 3:30 and there was 1 person in the wait area. Miss Congeniality behind the desk sullenly said there were "many people in line already" so they couldn't take me. They don't take appointments for xrays. In total, 3 tries, 2 days, 2 locations and still don't have an xray...or literally ANYTHING nice to say about this place. The worst business I have dealt with in recent memory. Looking over other reviews, perhaps I dodged a billing nightmare, so something to be grateful for, I guess. If you have options...take them. The people Aka appointment setters are complete idiots. Made an appointment in person at the Val vista location for their phoenix Ulta Sound for the 15th drove 45 min. To make the appt. Only to be told it was on the 22nd. Called central appointment to make it for the 28th, got an appoint at 1:00pm, just to make sure I had an appointment because I'd been screwed with all to many times with this company. Not more then 20 min I call only find out I didn't have an appointment at all. Stay away from Simonmed all they do is waste your time and money, read more

You can never reach anyone at this location. Its very frustrating and disappointing. I don't want a company that is unresponsive with such important health procedures. I question if this is how all of my health concerns and needs will be handled with tis company. AWFUL, AWFUL, JUST AWFUL. outdated equipment, untrained techs that take extra x-rays exposing you to more radiation, and most of all, the front desk staff is the most unfriendliest ever. They act like you're bothering them. I've experienced this a couple of times. Stay away. Banner imaging is mich more professional. Banner treats you like a human being. read more

My husband had a CT scan and was charged $53.34. According to the EOB, he only owed $19.78. We requested a refund on 10/3/23 and were told it would be posted to our credit card. After waiting 4 weeks, we called again and were told they had 30-45 days to process a refund. The rep suggested we call back after Dec. 7 if we don't receive the refund!!! Ugh what an AWFUL tech who works there! I wish I got her name. SimonMed has left such a sour taste in my mouth. They screwed up on me twice it wasn't just one location it was two! But this experience with this location was just horrendous. I walked in because I had an appointment at 1:00 PM that I scheduled the day prior (THE SECOND APPOINTMENT I MADE IN ONE WEEK) . I was on the phone for 30 minutes WAITING for an agent to get to me because THEY called and left a message needing more information for my THURSDAY appointment. My WEDNESDAY appointment was rescheduled because NOBODY called or texted me confirming it for my WEDNESDAY appointment. I get to the facility and the tech on duty asked what can she help me with. I said I'm here to check in. She RUDLY asked "Well do you have an appointment?" I looked at her crazy because I'm like, why the hell would I be checking in it If didn't have a damn appointment????? Rude just completely rude how she asked me. I told her yes and she said "No you don't I don't have anyone else on my schedule." If anyone could hear her tone and see how she just pushed me away like she did.... it was actually shocking. Peoples lives are at stake here. You have no idea what I'm coming in for. You have no idea the stress it takes to make an appointment with this place. CLEARLY. And for someone to me sooooo inconsiderate and just blatantly rude blows.my.mind. NOT ONE TIME did she apologize, NOT ONE TIME did she show empathy of my frustrations. She just flat out acted as though I missed my Wednesday appointment that I RESCHEDULED because NOBODY contacted me. Shame on you for treating people that way. I can't wait to get her name because it's definitely being posted on here when I speak to their manager. Simonmed is an absolute joke. I have scheduled 2 separate appointments to get an MRI. Both times I received appointment confirmation emails and texts. I received multiple reminder emails and texts also. When I showed up I was told I didn't have an appointment....both times. I showed them my multiple confirmation and reminder emails but all they told me was that I can reschedule. At the 2nd appointment they tried to claim that someone called me and I said I wouldn't pay out of pocket. That is the exact opposite of what I told the girl on the phone. The level of incompetence is unreal. I will never use Simonmed again and neither should you. read more

Have tried this location several times & same problem. Online reads 1 person waiting & walk in minutes later to a packed waiting room. Sign in given an appt time - 1 hour later STILL sitting in waiting room. Other location put sign on door stating "back in 20 minutes". Do know how this place stays in business. read more

If you have a dispute with SMI about billing or anything else you're SOL. They have notices saying MUST pay up front, then they add much more months later to your bill and you can't dispute it. The only people you can talk to is appointments and internal collections. I've been using them for over 25 years, and never again, no wonder they have horrendous low ratings!! read more

I am in the medical field and hesitated to return to Simon Med as they tried last year to get 250$ from me upon arrival and I know my insurance doesn't require co insurance or ultrasounds that you pay towards your deductable. They pay 100 percent. I turned them away today for same crap as last year and not even calling me ahead to remind me. I doubled checked w/my ins co and I WAS RIGHT. So I am scheduled elsewhere while Simon Med's F/O PPL DO NOT know what they are asking for and why! Not to mention losing business by the day! read more

The front desk staff were nice and helpful and I thought the guy doing my CT with contrast was competent until he screwed up twice. The first time the contrast dye ended up in my hair and he blamed it on faulty tubing. He flushed out the needle and proceeded to inject the contrast in again and the needle went through my vein and the contrast went in to the tissue in my arm. I have never experienced so much pain. Involuntarily my arm came forward my hand was balled up in to a fist I couldn't open my hand. The Tech had to pry my fingers open. He got a doctor to look at my arm and the doctor blew it off as I complained about my hand hurting and arm cramped up. He said if it gets worse go to the ER tonight. The tech said sorry your test was inconclusive because you moved. Really I moved because the dye was burning the inside of my arm and all my actions were involuntary my body reacted to the pain. It would not have mattered if I had held still because the dye was not going through my veins it was in my tissue and muscles in my arm. My arm swelled up and I have a bruise that runs from the inside of my elbow and arm almost to my wrist. read more

I have used Simon Med on four occasions, but this time it was a different location from the previous office. The services were always excellent and professional. On January 19th I had an abdominal US by Melissa. She was very kind, considerate and patient. Should the need arise again for this service I would not hesitate to go to this office. The girl working the front desk was also very efficient and knowledgeable. There was an easy flow and purpose to things You could tell. Those of us in the waiting room were at ease! read more
