Most new cars have the electronic box for lane assist, cruise control sensors and heated steering wheel on the box mounted on your windshield. Well, here's the thing, having worked with many computer systems, shouldn't things get reset when you unplug and plug them back in? Why does anything need to be recalibrated from a hard restart? Mr. Pink's does not charge for that. Replace the glass, mount and replug in the electronic mount. Everything works great. Just as it did before the pinecone pounding. My new windshield was done and set in 2 hours. You guys rock, are honest, and don't rob people blind...especially women. We all know how auto places try to tell women we need extra services that are usually not needed or even made up. I was told it would take two hours (some of that time is waiting for the sealant to cure so the windshield is permanently attached). I brought some paperwork with me to keep busy while I waited. I went to check once to see how things were going. The custom tools for this job are pretty cool! They precisely attach a thing with a pin on the top (think of a pin that slides through a hinge) to the upper side of your car. Its matching component is attached to your new windshield. The tech lifts up your windshield and slides the hinge onto the pin. Bingo! He can now swing the windshield into place with the specialized holder carrying the weight. This is one tech working on his own! I left him to his work and kept busy until he said "It's done!" The windshield looks great. Glass America was recommended by State Farm Insurance. That saved me time because I didn't have to call around and hope that I picked the right company to get this work done.
