Friday night a few weeks. I received an email from windsor water department. Saying I was using 3 too 4 times. I searched the 3 access and 9 single family homes. No sign of a leak or 3500 gallon of water. Knowing that it was more than a leaky toilet I started calling leak detection firms. They answered on a Saturday.I was relived and more so when soon after they had a guy on site I was already braced for backhoe and dump truck then a paving crew. He said he would get a contract done that day and test once it was agreed on. Then he proceeded to spend 20 minutes walking me though some tests I could try in the meantime. The second test paid off 50 bucks in parts and a hour and a half the meter on the street wasn't moving. He saved me probably thousands. Also helped me get the tenants water back flowing.In the process he explained his way out of a nice job. So That tells me his honesty and the honesty of his company he works for our he owns it I'm not sure his name was Micah Vasey.The integrity was unbelievable. Made an appt. to get a leaky kitchen faucet fixed. Arranged my schedule around the appt. Simeone sent a confirmation text a day earlier--I missed it and didn't respond (my phone is swamped with unsolicited political texts). The company then sent a text 90 minutes before the appt to ask if they could come early. I was in the shower, up early to prep the area for the plumber, so couldn't reply. Simeone then informed me it would have to reschedule. Why is it the client's job to confirm an appt? We had an arrangement. I get dozens of texts and hundreds of emails a day, don't really need one more. I was set to be home at the agreed upon time. Not my job to manage their schedules. I cancelled and called another plumber. read more

Our whole-house water filtration system was leaking water into our basement. So I called Simeone Plumbing. The plumber arrived a day later and went into the basement with his trusty iPad job estimator device. We decided to simply remove the filter and bypass the filtration system for the time being. His iPad had all sorts of boxes with wrenches pictured on them. He clicked away and then announced, "That will be $471." "What?" I responded. "Ridiculous, I can remove the filter myself. It might take 20 minutes." The plumber clicked some more boxes and said, "How about $365?" "Nope, " I told him. It was still too much. "I'll pay you $300 flat." I finally said. He clicked some more and said, "How about $288?" "Deal," I said." Not mentioning that he would have been ahead if he had just taken my best and final offer! I asked him why I couldn't just pay him by the hour... "Oh, we don't do that anymore." I know why. Plumbing has entered the realm of buying a used car. Heavy -duty negotiation to get a fair deal. I can't imagine how many unsuspecting customers just pay what Simeone Plumbing first demanded. Very bad way to do business. P.S. The owner called and I explained my complaint about their random pricing. I hope they play back their recordings of the call. The owner said, "I don't like your tone. F**k you!" And hung up on me. All seven submitted written proposals and provided valuable information. The proposed systems were similar and had minor different configurations. From beginning to end the process to replace our 180' water main was painless. Had faith in the estimate and cost was very reasonable compared to the other quotes we received from the larger outfits. I had my sump pump replaced. The existing one was ready to fail. It came with the house so I didn't know how old it was. For those who don't know already, a sump pump drains water out from out of the sub basement of your house. Typically, those who live against a hill may need one. I called Simeone. Zack was dispatched out the next day. He went under the house and assessed the situation, and gave me options on the different levels of repairs. The first option was to just replace the pump. Another option was to replace the pump along with the plumbing associated with it. There were other levels with differing warranties. I chose option 2 and he came out the day after. So now I have high end installation and work. The pricing is just about there - reasonable and competitive. I have dealt with a few different plumbing services and most often just do the work myself even though it takes me probably 10x as long for the same job. I reached out to Simeone Plumbing on Tuesday for a Dishwasher install. I had gotten a quote and felt it was reasonable for the job. The customer service representative Olivia was polite and had a very positive attitude. She was extremely helpful when it came to scheduling my appointment as soon as possible. I was able to get an appointment for Thursday 2/7 between 10-12. The professional that showed up for the Company was Loren. He came in with a positive attitude, was friendly and respectful. He assessed the situation and began working immediately. Once Loren began working we discovered that we were missing some brackets. Instead of just leaving and saying sorry. He ran to the hardware store and picked up some screws to get the job done. He went above and beyond to make the brand new unit work and mount up. The job ended up being more difficult and he never let it affect his attitude. He stayed positive, problem solved and got it done. I was not charged extra for the time, Simeone Plumbing kept the price they initially quoted. I am extremely pleased with Simeone Plumbing and recommend them without hesitation. I have used their services twice - once with a standard, scheduled hot water heater replacement a few months ago (zero complaints, installed quickly, fair price, works perfectly) and again today for an emergent situation. Last night we noticed a huge bubble in the ceiling over our downstairs bathroom... the bubble soon became a giant hole as water, sewage, sheetrock & insulation came tumbling down. It was as pleasant as it sounds. We quickly assessed and realized it was an issue with the upstairs toilet. The one star is for receptionist. I have never had services from a plumber! Most important thing to know....receptionist is first person anyone has contact with whether in person or on phone. After some expensive, unreliable and unsuccessful repairs by a different plumber I was recommended Simeone Plumbing by my tankless water heater company, Navien. Simeone sent out a Navien certified plumber who told me the truth about what was going on with my system. He spent a few hours fixing all of the issues as well as doing some extras like insulating the system pipes. And all this for less than the previous plumber who didn't even fix the system. WOW, I was impressed from the first call. Scheduling happened the same day for an estimate. They sent a text message in advance with a picture of our plumber, Micah, and a description about him. He arrived on time and was super knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. He told us which part we needed to buy and even found it on online and sent us the link so we didn't have to second guess that we were getting the wrong part. He said that it could be a couple of things and one was to first check the stop check on the cold water side - he found that it was plugged he replaced it and how everything is work excellent. We've found our new plumbers! Friday night: 8:00 p.m. Uh oh! We noticed some sort of leaking noise coming from behind the refrigerator. Looked under the house and we had a full blown leak. Called four different plumbing companies and no one answered. Came up to Yelp to see if anyone was rated highly. We called Simeone and a wonderful lady answered the phone. 10 minutes later, Scott, our new plumber called and was over here within 15 minutes. He was patient, tenacious and had a great sense of humor. He figured out what turned out to be a completely bizarre problem. He did it quickly, came up with a solution and with a minimum amount of damage. Unfortunately, it's been leaking a week...and will probably result in a kitchen remodel. We recently had a horribly bad plumbing problem. There was a nasty smell coming from under the house and the first plumber we called could not even find the clean out in our yard to begin analyzing the situation. I hit the jackpot when I called Simeone, because the gentleman they sent out first miraculously found the clean out buried 10" deep and under a tree root, and then crawled and dug though our hellish not-up-to-code crawlspace to find the source of the problem. VERY bad stuff- broken sewer right under the foundation. This extremely professional gentleman proceeded to fix this nasty and very difficult to access problem in a very timely manner. Five stars? Yes! I own an apartment building in Santa Rosa and called Dominic to get a quote for a new water main for the buildings. From the first time I spoke to Dom. In addition to a new mainline, I needed new shut off valves for the tenant units. Dom collected my info and had a quote for me in less than 24 hours. He made sure all my questions were answered and comfortable with the quote. The project went smoothly and I received a call from one of my tenants complimenting the crew for being polite and clean. After inspecting the project I noticed that without being asked, Dom's crew installed 30" steel poles to protect the shut off risers from cars. Professional, courteous, diligent, and knowledgeable. Our main water line sprung a leak. It was under our concrete driveway. Simeone Plumbing's technician, Scott, came by on time and gave us a quote (not an estimate) based on his best guess as to how much concrete he'd need to cut through. It turned out the leak was farther up the line so he increased the quote by an appropriate amount. Scott was extra careful in how he kept to a minimum the amount concrete he cut. He carefully protected tree roots and overhanging branches. He was always courteous and kept the water flowing to our house for most of the time he worked here (nearly three full days). When he poured the concrete to fix the driveway, he first drilled holes in the sides of the cuts and inserted re-bar to strengthen the new pavement. We got back from a long weekend to find the sewer backed up. My husband rented a snake, and after a few frustrating hours, told me to find a plumber. I went through lots of Yelp reviews, and decided on Simeone. It was great to have a live person answer the phone, and she was able to make an appointment for Zack to come out in a few hours. I wasn't here when he arrived, but my husband tells me he was prompt, communicated clearly, talked about the price before proceeding, and was able to resolve the issue (at least for now; unfortunately it will eventually be a much bigger job). My husband said it was well worth the money to hire Simeone, which is amazing, since he hates hiring people and has always insisted he'd rather do the work himself. All the good comments praising Zack are true. He knows what he's doing, is honest, and easy to deal with. The Water Department claims we have a leak which we've not been able to locate. Zack spent 20 minutes checking our meter and found no evidence of a slow leak. He checked our sinks and found no evidence of any leaking. Our toilets have been given the "dye in the tank" test and do not leak. We do not irrigate and the irrigation is permanently shut off. This is a meter reading error. Period. Zack was not going to charge us for the call which felt wrong to me. So he accepted a small payment for his time---which he more than deserved. A high five stars! read more

***First off, if need a plumber call Simeone Plumbing now*** Now if want to read further here you go: I should have written this a few months ago but time did not permit. So I really want you to know they are awesome! I live a 1950's house with galvanized plumbing. It had to be replaced not only because of the lovely rust but the pipes were getting thin. I had a few estimates and would have to say the moment I set up an appointment with Gina and met Domenic, I had a feeling they were going to be the ones. I did NOT want my drinking water to be sitting in plastic PEX. Domenic was the only one who didn't give me trouble about it and didn't try to talk me out of it. He understood my concerns with some rat gnawing the hell out of plastic, or a nail going through it, or my drinking water sitting in plastic all day. He said the price would be a little more and continued on. I replaced all the sewer lines too so this is involving a lot of work of cutting into the walls and going under the house. Also, moving some pipes around and installing tankless water heater. I told him I don't want cold water when showering because the washer is on and the dishwasher which had to be plumbed too. He gave me a fair small price to go up to a larger unti and sooooo glad I did! He was the best price and was able to start within a couple of weeks. He got the whole house done in less than a week; though those guys worked so hard and very long hours..they did it. For all the work they did and the long hours those guys put in, I appreciate it. To be honest I think he may have went over a little more than he thought it was going to cost but he stuck by his estimate. They called a month later to check to make sure everything was ok. Amazing work, reasonable price, and very very very professional. If you are still sitting there looking at who to use, let me save you the aggravation and just call Simeone Plumbing. Remember plumbing should last your lifetime. Don't cut corners and go with some flyby. He is local, licensed, professional, and honest. I can't say enough good things about this company. My garbage disposal backed up after I stupidly put apple peals down the sink. I called Simeone Plumbing and they said they only had one appointment available for today and that was not a time that worked for me. The lady I spoke to said that they had a couple appointments available tomorrow, but she was very sympathetic about my issue and she ended up having a plumber come to my house before his first appointment for what we both thought was a "quick fix". NOT. Zack came over and he was very clean-cut, respectful, knowledgeable and determined to fix my problem. It turned out far worse than we thought. A pipe had come loose that he had to fix, and he had to snake our drain out twice and take my disposal off about three times. He did not leave until it was working perfectly. He even went up on the roof to check our drain there. Simeone Plumbing charges by the job, not the hour. I was quoted a set price for the work, and even though he ended up spending over 4 hours fixing my problem, the price stayed the same. Zack cleaned up the mess and was super nice. When I was in a pinch, I turned to Yelp for help unplugging a garbage disposal. A nice fellow came out, on time, and fixed the disposal and cleaned up the water that accumulated beneath the sink. Then he hauled out the BIG BOOK. The BOOK said I owed him 283 dollars. I was stunned! He was here and gone in less than an hour. Well, what can you do? To add another dimension to the story, I called back some time later to say that water was again accumulating beneath the same sink. Could this be a related problem? The woman who answered the phone said she knew who came and would tell him about our water problem and see what he might say. Was I surprised no one even bothered to phone me back? Not really. From now on I will return to other Yelp plumbers who don't carry a BIG BOOK 10/16/15 Shortly after this review was posted, I heard from Jeanine at the office. She contacted the owner who said he gives his employees strict instructions to show customers all their options. Since I was not given those options, he would not charge me for the service.
