I have so many fond memories of going here as a kid with my family, junior high and HS with friends, etc. It's not the most technically difficult course, or the flashiest, but sometimes you just want no frills, competitive fun. Great for folks of all ages and skill levels. I mean, I'm terrible at putt putt but I always did pretty good here! Love the last hole where you can try to win a free game. This is what I call a country-club mini-golf course; i.e., it features no windmills or clowns but…read moreis set up more like a real golf course. There are water, sand, and rock hazards, doglegs, and undulations. Many holes require banking off a side-slope rather than traditional ricocheting; in fact, ricochets are a crap shoot here because most of the bumpers are curved and made of short bricks, so there are any number of unpredictable deflections that can occur. Some of the bumpers have open spots into the "ponds" and "creeks" so that you really have to be careful how you direct the tee shot. That being said, it's not a terribly difficult course. Par is 40 and I came in at 43 (I managed to stay out of the hazards, a couple of times by mere luck). One problem--they have flag pins which they require you to leave in. Twice I hit the stick on my first shot, and I consider that a robbery of a potential hole-in-one! The course is a lot of fun if you are satisfied with reading a tricky fairway and giving it your best shot. If you want gimmicks, you won't find them here. The maintenance is decent: no worn spots on the carpet, very few bits of small debris on the course, nice landscaping. There was plenty of running water here but it smelled of sulphur. The balls and clubs are in good condition, too. One other neat thing--at each tee they have a trivia question about the state of Ohio. The answers are printed on the back of the scorecard. Nice touch. I was there on Labor Day around 1:30-2 pm and there were only three couples ahead of me and one family of five following. I'm used to having to wait at most mini-golf courses. All in all, for $5 this is a good time and a great value.

There are two entrances to the putting store; inside you will not only find the check in to play, but also some cute items for your furry friends, seating to relax, and even ice cream or dippin' dots to snack on. There are restroom facilities available to use, if needed, before heading off to putt. I want to also say that the employees were really friendly too, which is a huge bonus. When you first walk out to the course, you will find a little putting area to practice on. Afterwards is a compact, but cute, albeit a bit run down, 18 hole putting course. I enjoyed that it had a waterfall and river as part of the ambiance, and seating everywhere. We had plenty of fun, and I'm sure we'll visit again sometime.

Friendly and Fabulous…read more Yes! I have been coming here off and on for years. Sometimes it was good and other times they were closed due to one reason or another. I am really glad they are back and that they have a heated pool. Keeps my joints warm and moving. Yes, there is a need for some TLC but this a great spot for people to come and get moving. Swimming, Boxing, wally ball, rachet ball, hand ball and much more. Come back and discover your local Recreation Center. I have. ;)

Coleman a Young's pool is much cleaner then Goldfishes and the swim instructor is really preparing our children for the swim team. Goldfish was a good beginner class to teach our kids the basics and Coleman a Young is taking them to the next level.
